Premier Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon Waterways

Everything fine except for the check in. Hotel insisted that the rooms had not been paid for in advance and that to gain access i would have to pay at the desk I have therefore paid twice for the same booking I have tried Premier Inns complaints line but end up in an endless wild goose chase and no help

Stayed here for 3 nights. Excellengt location within 10 minutes walk of the railway station and the town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The vending machine in the lobby wasn't working when we tried to buy some chocolate and when the member of staff saw us he gave us some of their birthday chcocalates as a gift - coincidentally it was my birthday a few days earlier :-) Ate in the restaurant a couple of times - service was slow but there are only 2/3 staff on that have to cover the front desk, the bar and the restaurant. Plus we were on holiday so weren't in a rush anyway. The food was worth waiting for though - everything was piping hot and clearly cooked to order. Even the peas were hot which is a minor miracle as they are usually lukewarm at best! Breakfast was usual selection but as they only bring out small quantities of each item it was always fresh and hot when you served yourself. Breakfast was busy on the Sunday morning as the hotel was pretty full but we had no probelm with a table or the service. Room was clean and recently refubished. Only slight issue is the wifi is pretty slow but as we only use it to use theinternet to check out places to visit and local restaurants we had no problem with it. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Stratford.

Perfectly situated for a show at the NEC and a 10 minute canalside walk into the town centre for an evening stroll. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

Hotel is around a ten minute leisurely walk to the centre of town. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and breakfast fayre varied and plentiful. The range of beers in the bar is limited but there are plenty of great pubs in Stratford serving a great range of quality ales. All in all a great stay for the price paid. I wasn't too sure about how the parking 'system' worked but needn't have worried as it's all done by the 'magic' of cameras. If you're arriving by car, simply park in one of the plentiful parking bays and check in. A camera records you arriving at the hotel. Simply forget about the parking issue until you're ready to leave, although if you want to use you car during your visit, you can come and go as you please. It makes no difference to the parking charge. When you check out of the hotel you need to pick up a voucher with a QR code on it and scan it on the machine outside of the front door of the hotel and follow the on-screen instructions and pay the parking charge (cash not accepted). You need to type in your registration number as part of the process.

Fantastic location very well run hotel rooms are amazing since they’ve had the refurbished rooms Should’ve been done a lot longer than now. Breakfast was great as usual Thank you for a great day. We look forward to coming back in the summer for longer

Always stay in premier inns as there beds are super for a good nights sleep. However on this occasion we were told we could not have the windows open as we were told it was a fire hazard. As i suffer with allergies I had to sleep in an arm chair in the foyer as the air quality was so poor I will stay in the other premier inn , in Stratford in future as their windows open and I noticed on driving past they did have most windows open. The manager told me he would have to close the hotel down if a window was opened

Stayed here to break a trip up. Very nice setting on the canal, not far from the centre. Good value for money as always at a Premier Inn. Hotel had parking which was also good value 5.00 for 24 hours. The evening and breakfast staff were much more friendly than rhe guy on reception when we arrived. Overall another good stay.

Having a great stay here. We were greeted by Owen, what a lovely friendly guy and so helpful. We requested an iron and he delivered it straight away and gave us some good information of the surrounding area. The restaurant staff were great and Penelope is lovely and very friendly, breakfast was of a high standard very good. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very nice and clean. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure, the staff really were amazing and probably the best service we have had in a while!
