The staff was friendly ,check in was fast but the hot water in the room was hot enough nor was the heating working but it’s a okay hotel

The room was nice but it did smell a bit upon entry. There was everything you needed in the room. Nice touch to have TV’s that allowed to use Netflix and YouTube. Beds were very comfortable too.

It was convenient and served a purpose for what we needed. It is a worn old hotel and needs refurbishing but it was clean, and they provided a good breakfast.

If you want to know what hotels from the 1980s were like then stay here! Not decorated or maintained since then. Broken lamps, paint peeling & dry damp stains a plenty. Avoid avoid avoid

Close to the M6 so it was great for work and the room was very big

If I could give this hotel a lower score I would! The location suited my itinerary, however having placed a do not disturb sign on my door cleaning staff thought it was appropriate to remove and clean my room. I requested an early morning wake-up call from the receptionist who seemed totally disinterested and didn't even ask my room number which I had to prompt her to take. I could hear her discussing it with another guest as I entered the lift. No surprise when I didn't get the call to wake me. When I complained I was given some excuse about fire alarm going off. Don't bother, far better hotels in the same area

Location is great loads of shops close by. Rooms are a bit outdated , water was not hot in the shower and had no pressure at all enough towels though but did not make a difference with cold water in winter. Room was not getting warm through the night despite putting the temp up to 31. Staff are lovely and the breakfast is a decent one. Good for an overnight stay

In general hotel was nice we both found bed uncomfortable but breakfast was good I did think everything would be great from what I read it was the bed that unfortunately let it down

I was not impressed with the service as i couldn't have a shoer as it was dirty( ,(Hairs on the bathroom shower😪) Which is unacceptable... I complained but the housekeeping main staff didnt do much about it. so i am waiting to speak to the Manager on (Monday 18th) to get an apology and something to be done about it as i haf to go home and shower instead! Also the heating was not working as room was cold; I am very disappointed in my stay as eanted a relaxing break which never happened,!!
