Generally speaking I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Location is good close to rhe station and the park and the city center. Breakfast was excellent in a nice spacious dining rooms + veranda. Staff was correct and helpful at most times. Room was OK in size. Most my comments relate to the room: 1. No air conditioning, the small cooler they provide is not effective enough. 2. No drawers and shelves to put the cloths only hanging...not practical not satisfying when staying for a week duration. 3. No basic vanity kit nor conditioner in the bathroom...really not suited for a 4 stars hotel. I had to buy this stuff. Can't understand this kind of stupid negligence (I did ask in reception for conditioner and they confirmed they don't provide it....). 4. Poor TV offer of channels....not so critical but still .... 5. Room service shuts down very early in the evening so what's the point of it?

Uitstekend hotel met bijzonder vriendelijke mensen tot aan de chef toe. Dikke plus voor de hulpvaardigheid en meedenken toen één van onze vrienden een ongelukje had gehad. Komen zeker terug. Kleine opmerkingen: als je meerdere dagen blijft mag de menukaart voor het arrangement wat ons betreft iets uitgebreider. We komen zeker een keer terug!

Velmi milý personál, pokoje dostačující, snídaně výborné, bylo mi zajištěno bezlepkové pečivo i bezlaktózové mléko, na poslední brzký odjezd přichystali balíček opět s rostlinnými, bezlepkovými a bezlaktózovými potravinami, odcházím velmi spokojená, děkuji. Very nice staff, adequate rooms, excellent breakfast, I was provided with gluten-free pastries and lactose-free milk, for the last early departure they prepared a package again with plant-based, gluten-free and lactose-free foods, I leave very satisfied, děkuji.

Beautiful hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and city centre. It’s in a beautiful building. I really enjoyed my stay here. The garden behind the hotel has lots of private seating. The various groups of tables and chairs are separated by plants and bushes. The staff goes out of their way to help you with anything. I had forgotten my toothpaste and no problem. They also happily stored my luggage after checking out. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty seating, including outside during good weather. In the rooms you have a kettle, coffee and tea. I am already looking forward to my next stay :-)

With relatives north of the country, we enjoy staying at this hotel when we are due a family visit. Until recently, the hotel was part of the Westcord hotel chain but has now become an independent hotel. Based on previous experiences, we did not see much of a difference when it comes to hotel rooms, cleanliness, friendly staff and breakfast. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Raalte on a main road with easy access to Ommen/ Hoogeveen (north), Deventer (south), Zwolle (west) and Almelo/Hengelo (east). The hotel is relatively new and looks like an old farmhouse with inner courtyard. Hotel rooms on first floor excist of hotel room and attic with room for a second double bed, perfect for families. We enjoyed our stay, a clean room, comfy beds, coffee/tea facility, all was there. Walls are somewhat on the thin side, we were treated to an evening concert and did not need an alarm to be woken up by lively toddlers in the room next to us. Breakfast was slightly hectic though, the restaurant managed but we had to wait for a table of four and staff was constantly checking and making sure there was enough supply. Breakfast was included in price and a good variety, someting on offer for everyone. Based on our recent experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Salland Inn.

I was warmly welcomed late in the evening. The check-in was very pleasant and charming. The room was very spacious, a little dark, but not disturbing. The encounter with the supposed governess in the morning also left a professional impression. The bike hire service is a must to discover more of the surrounding area. The highlight was the restaurant visit in the evening. A wonderful 4-course surprise menu from the kitchen at a high level. The service was also incredibly harmonious and i was well looked after. The homemade butter and the homemade bread were simply heavenly. In general, I can say that this hotel is a little hidden gem in the heart of the Netherlands. When you approach through the forest and waterways this monster in a large pond intrigues. Located next to the old Waterloopkundig or hydrological research centre this building from the sixties with its concrete look, has been fully remodelled and modernized. Nice couches and surroundings created in the main entrance and the hallways. Plenty of parking space and possibility to stall your bikes and bicycles. One strange thing is that they demand immediate payment of the room (even when we had given a credit card guarantee) though you can charge bar and restaurant on the room. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pond and they have a lot of space. They are modern and supplied with a safe and coffeemaker. Good beds and perfect shower. The lights for reading at the seats and for shaving at the wash basin are faint and don't really help. For the rest, no remarks to the rooms though the decoration on the walls is a little bit of everything. The restaurant offered a special asparagus menu due to the season. We assume they do more of these specialties. The normal dishes have a decent variety and there is the possibility of the chef's choice in meat, fish or vegetarian (recommendable). With the option of strolling alongside the old research objects in the moors and woodlands and the good cycling options, this new (opened at 31 March 2023) hotel is an excellent extra for the Fletcher brand.
