Hotel berhampiran L'Antre de la Biere, Ollioules

This was the kind of experience one recounts with hushed tones and shivers to faces aghast. The bathroom - the room where one attempts to become clean in spite of the mouldy shower curtain and inhabited cracks - is a horror show. It's like a portaloo sprouted a showerhead. It's impossible to take a shower without kicking the toilet on the way out. Speaking of which, I don't want to know what the stains on the toilet are. There is hot water, but you must choose between scalding or freezing. No need to use it though; there's no point. The room doesn't seem to have been cleaned since the hotel opened. The sheets are ripped and a health hazard. Towels are pre-stained. Oh, and the doors and windows don't close properly. And I'm pretty sure we got a good room. Flee.

Le personnel est disponible et à l'écoute. Et très sympa et serviable. Ils m'ont gardé mes bagages la journée le temps que je prenne les transports Hôtel bien placé proche de la mer et du centre ville. Belle pisicne très propre

Personnel très agréable et sympathique,on ressent un hôtel vieillissant qui a une certaine époque étant très bien, chambre donnant côté rue donc bruyante et ainsi que la cage d’escalier et porte donc du bruit jusqu’à presque 3h du matin. La literie était récente mais à mon goût très dure mais doit convenir à d’autres clients . La fenêtre de droite était fissurée et le volet de gauche cassé. Chambre et salle de bain propre mais cette dernière n’avait pas de quoi poser une trousse de toilette . Il n’y a qu’une table de chevet . Par contre il y a une couverture supplémentaire et oreillers . La Clim était récente mais plus petite que l’ancienne et pas repeint autour . L’endroit reste très pratique pour visiter sanary. Le prix très correct mais pour moi cela reste une mauvaise nuit .

Unbelievably disappointed with this hotel and a majority of its staff. We experienced a tragic void of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our entire stay at the Mercure Hotel in Toulon, France. Unfortunately, our fruitless attempts to resolve these issues directly with on-site management (which does not exist) and corporate personnel (impossible to contact) leave us feeling violated of our dignity and robbed of our time and money. We hope the following information will help others in the future, including travelers, hospitality staff, Sébastien Bazin, Gilles Pélisson, and the like. CLEANLINESS: Upon our arrival, we could literally see dust and dirt on all of the shelves, counter tops, balconies and floors of the hotel and room. Even the carpet in the room was so dirty it stained the bottom of our clean socks. The toilet room smelled bad, like, well, a used toilet. We politely asked for it to be cleaned, however, no one ever came, not even to freshen up the room at any point during our stay. COMFORT: The air conditioning did not work in our room, ever. When we spoke to the front desk staff about the sweltering temperature of 90 degrees F in our room (even though the thermostat read 16 C) and were informed to “leave the room for awhile to let it work”. We left at 3:30PM and returned at 11PM to a less sweltering temperature of 85 degrees F in our room. We asked staff member available, Alexi/Alex at the front desk, if he could fix the thermostat. He begrudgingly came to take a look and was profusely sweating after one minute in the room. He could not turn on the air conditioning even though the thermostat read the same 16C. He said we could open the window, but that would just let in the bugs in and turn off the air completely. He also suggested we leave the room to wait 15 minutes for it to turn on…? Given that that strategy did not work when suggested earlier, we asked for a different room with working air conditioning. He laughed at us and said no because it would not make his manager happy. We said we would happily speak to the manager about the issue and he laughed again, said no, and stated management is not available on the weekends. We then asked for some sort of a solution and Alexi/Alex appeared annoyed and said “there is nothing to be done” and that he had to get back to his “other duties” at the hotel. Turns out it was actually the end of his shift and he did not want to stay any longer that his end time to deal with this problem. We noted that the sheets and bedding were surprisingly all polyester, which doesn’t breathe like cotton, and acts like a heat conductor and made it more difficult to achieve sleep. He laughed again and said all the rooms are the same and there is nothing to be done. We went back to the front desk to ask for help from the next staff member and found that the only person available was a very kind, intelligent security guard named Cherkre(sp?). Stayed here as part of a rugby package the staff were all polite and the pictures the website are a true reflection. The continental breakfast was a good quality and lots of choice. The location is good for walking, trains or buses. Do feel that more information could be in different languages in the rooms and reception but nothing that can not be put on Google translate, beds comfortable and air con was great.

Juste PARFAIT ! PROPRE et très bien situé. Même sans prendre le petit déjeuner en buffet vous avez accès toute la journée dans une grande salle très convivial avec des fruits, machine à café, chocolat chaud, cappuccino, biscuits, fruits secs, jus de fruits frais, thé en vrac ... Le personnel est très sympa et serviable. Le lit super confortable. Seul petit bémol pas de parking privé pour la voiture.

C’est la 2 eme que nous venons et cet hôtel correspond à nos attentes : un très bon emplacement au centre de bandol, un emplacement pour la voiture compris dans le prix ce qui n’est pas négligeable, une très bonne literie . Nous avons aussi aimé la grande chambre de 20 m2, avec coin cuisine et sa machine nespresso , la gentillesse du personnel qui dès qu’il le peut vous surclasse ( nous avons été surclassés les 2 fois) sans oublier une belle terrasse avec vue sur le port , avec fauteuils et canapés qui vous invitent à la relaxation . Le côté vintage surprend au premier abord mais rend l’endroit chaleureux

Nous avons séjourné cet été avec nos enfants et notre chien dans les chambres les douanes qui dépendent de l’hôtel Hélios. Chaque année nous venons aux Embiez et chaque année nous adorons notre séjour. Habituellement nous réservons un appartement dans les vignes et cette année nous avions envie de séjourner à l’hôtel! Et bien, nous n’avons pas été déçus, au contraire! La chambre est grande, tout confort et bien équipées, le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié, il est également appréciable de profiter de la piscine. L’île est vraiment dépaysante et c’est un plaisir de pouvoir se balader dans un cadre sublime en famille :) A l’année prochaine :)

Beautiful setup within a golf course and vineyards, but just missing a beach access. Great Staff, very kind and smiling. Amazing Breakfast with products of quality. But the hotel is a bit oldish and needs renovation of the rooms/bathrooms and improvements in the building. Nice swimming pool, but too bad it is divided into 3 bassins instead of a big one for long swims...
