I was innocently to believe there are several swimming pools from the hotel photo, but was disappointed that there is only one (hotel mentioned they have 3, actually is the same one but with shallower water at both sides).
We planned to swim and go outside in daytime and to enjoy the outdoor bath in our own terrace afterwards, but we found there were a lot of insects and flies at night, and we even not dare to open the terrace door to avoid the insects enter our room! The breakfast is a bit early to end at 10am. It is buffet style but not much good to eat. We only go for one day and find sth better to eat outside the rest of the days even though our room rate included breakfasts.
But Aquasense is still a lovely hotel! The room is really spacious and there were three large comfortable beds. The fridge is a home-use size with freezer which seldomly found in most hotels, we can store icecream there and can eat anytime we want to. And the view from terrace is amazing and feel relaxed to stay in the room with lots of sofas! Lastly, I must mention about the fireworks! Hotels launch the fireworks specially for summer in July and Aug, we can enjoy the fireworks at our own terrace. We all loved it so much and it is really an unforgettable experience,

The rooms and interior is outdated but the service and staff were amazing and made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for families with young children. There are live cultural shows at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience to get to see real Okinawan dances and traditions.

The hotel is comfortable, nice beach and good pool facilities. The breakfast has enough variation and good quality. For dinner or lunch there are plenty of good options very close outside of the hotel. However, for being a resort almost no services are included in the price and you have to pay for almost anything. For example, at the beach there is no place to seat and if you want a normal chair you need to pay. Similar thing in the outdoor pool with certain types of sunbeds. The access to the indoor pool/gym/onsen is also charged. For the price of the room and the type of hotel, I would expect these kind of services to be already included in the price to make it more convenient for the guest.

I chose this hotel because I think this is the only hotel that allows its guests to swim on the beach during winter. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices but ends early. The room was very clean and complete with facilities, including an espresso machine.
It is easy to reach this hotel by the airport shuttle bus. I also took a shuttle bus to go to the famous aquarium. There are many restaurants walking distance from the hotel.
I was looking forward to swim in the semi indoor heated pool. Unfortunately, it only opens from 1 to 8 PM. It is also weird that they charged your guest for the gym use (one time fee of 1100yen). This should be included.

酒店在恩納村，在海邊，環境超美，一進酒店就是那種海島豪華度假酒店的feel！房間超大，很新，衞生做得很細緻，佈局設計超級合理，房間超適合多人一起聚會聊天，做飯一起吃都毫無問題，鍋碗瓢盆刀，廚具櫥櫃抽油煙機一應俱全！而且物品都超新超好！房間裏還有洗烘一體機，提供的洗衣液和柔順劑超級香超好聞，後來我們全部人去葯粧店看到這種洗衣液和柔順劑都買了，選品太好了吧！！訂的早餐還能選擇早餐或者午餐，自己根據想吃的時間二選一！
酒店裡有好幾家餐廳，看上去都很不錯，那裡附近沒啥吃的，除非開車去遠一點還好點，在酒店吃就算貴一點應該品質也有保障！
酒店還有一些瑜伽課程，浮潛課程之類的可以選擇，就很棒！
前台的人都很好，無論會不會中文都很熱情很友好，有時候讓他們幫忙打電話去訂位置或者跟餐廳溝通都非常積極幫忙！體驗感極好！
唯一的缺點是早午餐都不太好吃，不如以前住過的很多日本沒那麼高端的酒店，這個就是真的有點美中不足！

雖然比不上大酒店，但都不錯
環境很好，房間夠大，有“他他米位置”感覺就在日本了，之後有2張大床舒服的。又有露台可以看到海景，感覺開心， 洗手間和沖涼房是分開的 衛生程度很好。 位置是有點麻煩 出外時是沒有問題 但回酒店時是一定要跟gps 不然就會回不到酒店的路線。
早餐的類別不太多 但味道還可以。
工作人員十分有禮貌 有十分幫忙
希望有機會下次可以再去

Excellent service, although not all of the staff are good at English but they will try their best to help.
The location is not convenient for those who doesn’t drive, there are no restaurants and convenience stores nearby. You have to take taxi to moon beach area for some foods and groceries unless you stayed at the hotel all day long.
There are dusts around the corner in the room, and no one clean up the corner during my 3-day visit. But overall the room is clean and tidy.

Downstairs had a new bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom. and roomy kitchen had all modern amenities and served as the family room. Great outdoor space for a BBQ or just to relax with some snacks and drinks. Best part was my dog could enjoy being inside and outside with no restrictions. Just be considerate with your pet. (pay pet fee upon check-in ¥1,100) Breakfast was delicious.

Service standard - 8.5/10: The front office staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. However, there might be room for improvement in the breakfast service, as it seems they may be understaffed. Enhancing the service level or hiring more staff would be beneficial.
Room - 10/10: The rooms are spacious and appear to be new. It seems that all the rooms offer a fantastic sea view.
Parking - 10/10: The parking area is available for a reasonable fee of 1000 yen per day. It is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel and has ample parking spaces. Additionally, the hotel provides frequent transport service between the hotel and the parking area.
Environment - 10/10: The surroundings are well-maintained, and the facilities are clean and in good condition.
Kid-friendly - 10/10: The hotel is exceptionally child-friendly. Upon check-in, the front office staff provided my son with a kid pack, and the facilities are thoughtfully designed to cater to children's needs. Additionally, the restaurant offers kid-friendly cutlery, making dining with children more convenient and enjoyable.

RRoy’sThe hotel is conveniently located in Onna Village. Facilities and amenities were great. Car park, gym, swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, food stands, and plentiful leisurely space. Room was spacious and could accommodate up to four persons. It came with a washing machine-cum-dryer, cooking utensils and crockery. Great for family vacations. Self check-in and checkout. If I had to name one thing that I was most unhappy with, that’s gotta be the cockroaches in the communal areas of the building. (We were absolutely fine with the spiders, geckos and grasshoppers though.)

HHKHJThis hotel is an older property that doesn't quite live up to the standard you'd expect from an Intercontinental hotel in a major city. While the rooms are dated, the hotel's beach and pool are great amenities, and there are fireworks displays in some of the nights at the pool.
The hotel can get quite crowded, especially during peak summer season when I visited. With only 2 elevators servicing all floors, be prepared to wait a bit to get to your room. The breakfast options are varied, 3 restaurants each offering different breakfast - Western, Japanese, and local Okinawan selections, but they tend to be very busy in the mornings.
The local staff were friendly, though the foreign staff could be less than polite in their interactions. Overall, itl is an aging property that doesn't quite live up to the Intercontinental brand, but the great outdoor facilities and location make it an acceptable choice for a stay in the area.

IiiamMayaIs a very quite place a nice lodge . Just what we wanted escape from all the sound. Easy to find , in front of the lodge is a very nice and cute cafe . There’s an orange cat roaming around and asking you to pet . Clean, nice shampoo and body soap. Washing machine and detergent also provided .
Full kitchen available . Just the sofa set in the living room is not very comfortable, overall is great ☺️

PPengguna TetamuWe brought our 3+ years old boy on a 2 night stay during golden week (May 2024) and opted in for a dinner buffet on the first night. It was 2200 yen per adult n foc for my boy. The spread was limited but worth all its penny as the beef was so tender and juicy so i feasted on it. All other dishes were also very good.
The private beach was convenient and the water was so clear it looked like mineral water. There was a 50% discount voucher you can get from the hotel reception for the banana boat ride at the private beach and our boy enjoyed this and another ride. The young instructor who pulled us out on a jet ski for our water rides was friendly and went at a good speed for our 3 year old who was doing the water actitivties for the first time without us having to tell him to do so. He even went to the coral reefs and picked up a starfish n a sea cucumber to show our boy before returning it back to the sea. The water activites was affordable with the discount, price similar to Msia/Thailand/Indonesia resorts i have been to.
I was apprehensive booking this resort after reading the reviews on the state of the hotel showing signs of aging. However, the place was well maintained. There was an unpleasant smell when i opened the door to our room but its actually just the tatami which needed some airing. After opening the windows to let in the natural breeze, all was good. Cleaniness for toilet was good too; just need to figure out the temp control for the shower. The onsite onsen was clean and easily accessible at the basement, and wld have cost us at least 1200yen for a visit to a public onsite iin naha.
Totally recommend this resort for a fam outing with young children. I understand they have barrier free access rooms on the first floor of the resort so there were some families with elderly too.

PPengguna TetamuAn old hotel, with very big rooms and nice views, the location of the hotel is a little bit far away from anything. In any case, for resting, it is worth. Be ready to go up and down the hill (the hotel is on top of a hill) if you want to go out for strolling the beach, restaurants or the like. Being in the middle of nowhere sometimes has its advantages.
Relatively convenient bus stops down the trail connects you with Naha/airport in about 1h45min for budget option, 1:15 min for a limousine bus and maybe just 1h for a private/rental car. It is a place to rest, and that's it. Do not expect a fancy service.
The Japanese has their own rules regarding cleaning time and tea music in the afternoon, so if you are a foreigner, expect shocking situations such as bedding exchange time (there is a schedule for that), tea music time at 5 (which in case you get a nap for whatever reasons (i.e diving) it can make you wonder what´s going on (not just in the lobby, but in your room as well) and okinawa typical folklore music until 8 every day in the afternoon. If you have to sleep a while because of exhausting day, it could be relatively annoying.
In any case, for the price it has, it is okay.

It’s not spotless clean, we notice some spots and color on our towels…The location is convenient though, very close to a lot of beaches and diving spot but didn’t spend time in the hotel beach itself. It’s not free I believe for hotel guests (100yen for a towel) and parking fee is 500 yen a night which I think it’s reasonable as well.
