Had a great stay at Beacon Hotel. The front desk also took the time to help us with issues at our next hotel destination - would definitely recommend your stay here

Room with amazing view of train tracks and station. We also enjoyed private sauna. Friendly and helpful staff.

A lovely clean hotel , but due to it being directly at the train station, could hear constant noise from the trains all night. And yes they do run all night. It was a shame as it was a nice clean hotel but the sleep deprivation spoilt it for us

Stayed for 2 nights; half day to Setoda and one day in Onomichi. Beautiful furnishings but awkward layout that the sink is far from the toilet. Suggest to request for the other room layout attached in my pictures

The hotel was clean and in a great location. The rooms were original and fun. We had the largest room 209 and it was great for having our other party members over for hanging out.

In despite of other reviews we where not satified. The standard double room was claustrofobic narrow. The airco breezes so hard that we almost freeze or the opposite sweating out. And we slept in many hotels over the world but never in a four star rated hotel where there was no tea available. Not in the room or in the restaurant. neither at the breakfast. So far overpriced!!

 I would like to give a top grade to Beacon hotel.  it is on the second floor of Onomichi station. This time we was upgrade to a very cozy family room. we are very happy to see that is a simple kitchen. We were on bicycle travel from Imabari. Our luggage was sent to the room before we check in. Staffs are all very kind and easy communicate. Only heard one time train pass by after we slept. Bed is large and very comfortable. Very new hotel. Highly recommend!

Fantastic room with amazing and brand new decoration. Hotel was opened in July of 2022 and the facilities are just amazing, and in excellent conditions. The staff is extremely professional , very attentive , communicating in English. The location is very privileged, just above the Onomichi train station. Breakfast is a state of art , with the food coming in a bento in a perfect portion. There are capsule coffee in the room . Onsen is extra 2500 yen for one hour . The hotel is just one of the best surprises in my trip and fully worth staying a day or two there. If you want to ride to shimanami kaido this hotel is perfect location.

The hotel is conveniently located on the second floor of the JR station, but the number of rooms is limited. I stayed in a standard double room, which was quite small. I couldn't open two 28-inch suitcases without moving furniture. The front desk staff were professional and easy to communicate with.

The room is bigger than expected, the high roof is beautiful, the hotel design and color scheme is very good, it is the toilet sink and kitchen sink is the same, overlapping positions get not too good to use, dim lighting. Everything else was good, excellent location, right upstairs from JR and bus station, very convenient, staff were very helpful. However, sleep easy to wake up people do not book, JR walk through is going to be noisy ga!

It is on the second floor of the station. It is unexpectedly quiet and comfortable, without any noise or vibration. The facilities are also new and complete. At first, I was given a room at the edge with many windows and a little smell of oil smoke. After I told the front desk, they readily changed my room.

The location is very good, on the second floor of the JR station, suitable for passengers who will take the JR the next day. However, the sound insulation is poor, and the rumbling sound of the train is clearly heard, which affects sleep. The air conditioning design is unreasonable and blows towards the head

The location is super convenient, on the second floor of Onomichi Station. The total number of rooms is very small, which may be why I cannot book this hotel on other platforms. The washbasin in the room is a bit low, and it is outside the bathroom. The movement and height are not used to it. The room design is lovely, you can overlook the entire harbor from the window, and there is also a raised tatami seating area~ There is a 7-11 downstairs. Although it is not 24 hours a day, it is very convenient~
