Hotel berhampiran Tarumitenmangu, Onomichi

Conveniently located about halfway between Onomichi and Imabari along the Shimanami Kaido, WAKKA is much more than a halfway stop. Staying here is an experience you won’t forget for a while. Between us we had a cottage and a dome ‘tent’ both with views of the water & the Tatara bridge (across which we had cycled). We opted for the BBQ dinner on our deck & it was wonderful: sashimi appetiser, local seafood, vegetables & meat (amazing steak, boar sausages, chicken) as well as rice, dessert and mint tea! The hospitality here is so warm that we felt immediately welcomed. All the staff were lovely. Reika (from reception) suggested a trip to the local onsen (public bath) and provided a voucher as well as minibus shuttle (10 min way). This was a great experience and good way to relax after a day’s cycling. We enjoyed breakfast sitting on the cafe deck (great coffee) before we set off for another day of cycling. As well as cottages & dome tents, there are dormitory beds for a more economical stay. WAKKA also offers support to cyclists who aren’t staying at the hotel.

Great family experience. I read all the reviews and was worried that the room had no attached bath, emailed the hotel with all the questions I had and made all the preparations for my kids. Lord and behold I was assigned THE ROOM with attach bath right next to the Onsen! It was incredible for a family of four. They have a common toilet as well so if the one in the room is occupied, I just walk out to the common one that is well maintained. The staff here speaks good English and were extremely helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner at the one and only restaurant here were incredible. While they do not have a wide variety, they made it up with the quality! Delicious is an understatement! Ask the receptionist everything and seek their advise on everything you want to do. They will tell you the best timings and areas to experience the most bunnies! Their weather forecast is spot on too. The only downside is the room smell of bunny food, but this is expected as this island is basically about bunnies!

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

是去考試的，夜裡到清早走，沒能享受美麗的環境，地理位置很好，但夜幕降臨無法出門，因為從商店街走回旅館爬山有一段很黑，用手機開手電筒才找到旅館的，很危險。 早上看清晨的尾道非常美，日式榻榻米睡着也沒有不舒服，早上晚上可以去咖啡館喝咖啡這點也很好，雖然工作人員拉的花不好看，但味道沒問題。 住宿唯一體驗不好的是旅館的浴室很陳舊，衹有沐浴露洗髮水提供沒有護髮素，並且不會主動給牙刷牙膏什麼的（我是自帶的，不知道問他要要不要收錢）旅館想買也沒有梳子早上無法梳頭，想買生活用品工作人員說最近的便利店要走二十分鐘（畢竟在山上沒辦法）。 圖是晚上房間拍的

昭和の香りぷんぷんで、レトロです。でもどこに行くにも非常に便利な立地。駅も徒歩圏内、レープウェイも食べ物屋が近くにあり、満足。尾道ラーメンが隣にありましたが、あいにく金曜日は定期日でした。翌日チェックアウトした時に見たら開店前に列ができていました。ビジネスホテルなので狭いのですが、使いやすい棚が設置されていたのでこれは嬉しかったです。又、無料のスマホが置いてあり、外人さんにはとても気の利くサービスだと思います。 先着順の無料駐車場があり、朝11時のチェックアウトまで置いておけるので朝の観光には助かりました。 スタッフは淡々としていましたが、姿が見えたら遅いエレベーターのボタンを押してくれていたり、傘を貸してくれたりと親切で、意外に気持ち良かったです。こういうホテルも今は中々無いので、頑張って欲しいと思いました。

Sebuah hotel mata air panas kecil di daerah beli-belah Onomichi. Hotel ini sangat bersih, pedalaman sangat menarik, air panas juga bagus, kira-kira 10 jenis syampu dan perapi sangat menarik. Saya datang dengan motosikal, tetapi ia sangat dekat dengan terminal feri Mukoshima. Saya rasa ia akan mengambil masa kira-kira 5 minit untuk berjalan kaki ke platform ropeway Gunung Qianguangsi, Muzium Sejarah dan Muzium Filem.

ネットで見た素敵なプールで泳ぎたいものだと海の日に訪問。スタッフの話ではもともと近くの造船会社の迎賓館みたいなところを改修してホテル事業を始めたとか。なぜこんな辺鄙なところに作られたのか、納得しました。 　プールが海につながっているようにみえて、泳いでいてとても気持ちよいです。軽いトリップ状態になります。日中はやたら子供が多くて、とても泳げる状態ではありませんが… 　泊まった部屋は何を間違ったのかザ・ベラビスタという豪華なお部屋。広々ツインの他に、海に解放した展望風呂部屋がついていて、風呂には大量のレモンが浮いている。横には意味ありげなソファつき。 　google口コミでは賛否みられるホテルですが、ひとつ言えるのは肉・魚料理が美味しくないこと。野菜料理とかサラダは普通なのに、これじゃ何食べるのといった具合です。ホテルのレストランとは言えませんね。これではまた来たいと思いません。(メキシコのリゾートホテルでも似たようなことがあったけれど…) 　よくここで結婚式場ができるなあ…食事が美味しくなくて招待客が怒らないのかなあと心配になります。なにやら薪木にこっていて焚き火焼きがテーマ？のようですが、問題の美味しさをわすれているのではと心配になります。 　フロントスタッフやプールサイドのお兄さんお姉さん達は笑顔で気持ち良く対応してくれます。プールサイドのアルコール料金も少し値下げしてくれると嬉しいなあ。プールだけなら年一回位きてもいいのですが。

今年８月に全室リニューアルされただけに設備は新しく、とても快適に過ごせました。大満足です。 敢えて指摘するなら①部屋の靴ベラ、持ち手をもう少し長くしてもらえませんか。年寄りは屈むのがつらいので持ち手が長ければ楽に靴が履けます。②朝食会場、ワンプレートの取皿の他に小皿を備え付けて下さい。汁気の多いものや香の物・明太子などは、他のものと混ざらずにいただきたいものです。茶碗やみそ汁椀で代用するのは品なくちょっとネ。

ベッセルイン福山駅北口 快適に休むことができました。 スタッフのみな様、ありがとうございました。 部屋の窓が額縁にように映るライトアップされて天守閣は 素晴らしい体験でした。 ベットとピロー（枕）がベスト！朝までぐっすり 朝6時からのホテルモーニングを美味しく十分にいただきました。 一品々丁寧な調理に満足の朝食でした。 ホテルチェックインが終わって、福山駅 新幹線ホームまでゆっくり歩いて2分 予定通り朝7時台の新幹線に乗ることが出来ました。 おかげで、エネルギッシュな一日をすごすことが出来ました。
