Hotel as an excellent hotel, beautifully designed room with sea view, restaurant very very bad, waiter (Dujo) we saw his name on his shirt, not professional, poor service, breakfast as if you are in a much worse hotel, basic things are missing, not to mention everything for the rest, we ordered scrambled eggs, my wife was sick to her stomach the whole day after that breakfast, later we went after breakfast to the pool to have a drink, the waiter was not there, we went to the reception to ask if there was anyone to serve us, the answer was no, he will come in a few minutes, we waited for him for 10 minutes, we don't know where the staff is, the lunch prices are as if you are in Dubai, we came in 2 days for dinner, we had nothing to choose from the small selection of food, we took pasta and fish, the pasta was not tasty, it was not cooked well, it was hard and the fish is not fresh at all, the waiter didn't even bother to give a discount on a bar or a drink I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE, YOU WILL BE VERY DISSATISFIED!!

Perfect hotel! If you’re coming to Dubrovnik for a short stay or a long stay this hotel is just so quaint. It’s located close to the port and not a far walk from old town. It’s incredibly new, boutique and spacey. The one thing that sets this hotel apart and will have me recommending them and booking again is there staff. They were SO ACCOMMODATING. Vanessa and Ivana really went above and beyond and are true gems of hospitality. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Het is een groot hotel niet ver van de oude stad. Parkeren kun je gratis bij het hotel. Als je met een gezin van vier kun je beter met Uber of soort gelijke taxi bestellen voor €8 dan op de bus te wachten in de hitte. Een busrit naar de stad kost €2 p.p. Parkeren in de stad is schreeuwen duur namelijk. Ontbijt van het hotel loopt door naar brunch tot 13.00uur. Dat is wel fijn voor de uitslapers. Eten is in het algemeen okay. Verwacht geen culinaire verrassingen, gewoon goed genoeg om in het hotel te eten. Het zwembad is groot, maar voor het strand moet je uit het hotel terrein lopen.

We stayed at the Royal Neptun for 1 week, it is 1 of 3 hotels forming a complex - Neptun is a 4 star and the other 2, 5 star and we could definitely see the difference. The highs, the location is outstanding, the walk along the promenade to the bars and restaurants, superb. The roof top bar and pool, amazing place to have drinks and watch the sunset, the pizzas in ‘on the rocks bar’ yummy, food and setting in Zoe was well worth the money, and the massage in the spa was one of the best I’ve had. So why only 3 stars: we checked in, other guests checking in were offered support with their luggage which we weren’t, maybe only for the 5 star, we didn’t mind but just noticeable. We walked into our room, first sight clean and tidy but then started to notice the red and white stains on the carpet, broken shower and safe, bathroom door sort of fixed. Breakfast was not a pleasant experience at all, it is not big enough for the size of the hotel, lots and lots of people walking around looking for tables, no management overseeing the flow of customers, staff moral appeared low, no one was smiling, would pass and not acknowledge you, when trying to attract attention it was like they looked through you and go in a different direction. Food ran out very quickly, all meats, cheeses etc were not covered and I could see the flies landing on it, the queue for omelettes was at least 10mins so big gathered all around where other guests were trying to eat. Pool area, as this is a family hotel was really surprised to see glass being used, 1 time were saw a glass break and a little boy cut his foot and second a wine glass broke and the stem ended up in the pool - no one was asked to leave whilst it was cleaned. This hotel has the making of amazing place to stay so hoping this feedback will help make the tweaks it’s needs.

Travelled to Lapad Bay in October as a solo traveller. This hotel is safe, friendly, comfortable and in a great location. It’s 2 minutes from the bus to the old town, and same to the beautiful beach and promenade walk. There are ritzier, more modern hotels, but if you’re exploring the area, this one is in a great place to base yourself. If you want a big pool to sit around all day, it’s probably not for you. There is a lovely pool and terrace, but it’s not a massive pool to do laps in with lots of sunbeds. (That’s not a criticism.) The only extra thing I would have liked is having a fridge in the room. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Fantastic well appointed apartment in a beautifully renovated historic building in the heart of the old city. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the top (third) floor of the building. The flat had a lounge, dining area and kitchenette with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and sandwich toaster. There were air conditioning units in both the living area and bedrooms. We had a lovely view over the rooftops towards the hills to the north east of the city. There is also a washing machine and drier that are free for guests to use. We had good communications with the hotel via email. The building is a 5 minute walk from Pile Gate and there is no lift so it wouldn’t be suitable for someone with limited mobility.

Busy during the summer but a great stay overall. Easy beach access (at a nearby hotel) and a direct bus route to the old town. A nice break.

This hotel is in a lovely quiet area of Lapad with stunning views. We stayed on the top floor with a sea view and would highly recommend. The room itself was okay and clean with fresh towels everyday. Hairdryer in the room was not very good and could do with being updated. Fridge was not working on arrival but we managed to sort it ourselves. The majority of the staff were very friendly. Food was okay, breakfast had a variety from hot food to cereals to pastries. Buffet in evening could have been more varied, meat and veg every night and it was nice but just got a bit boring so ended up going to the area directly opposite the hotel which was a lot more busier with a great range of restaurants and bars. The cave bar I would highly recommend visiting with great cocktails. Buses were also very regular outside the hotel and would recommend getting the Dubrovnik pass for a week which enables you unlimited bus transport and entry to attractions such as the old city walls. The beach outside the hotel was nice, did get quite busy at times but not touristy with a lot of locals. Overall a great holiday and would recommend this hotel for its stunning views and closeness to the old town.

Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Receptionist was very welcoming and helped us checked in/out easily. Room was clean and big, and had a balcony view as expected. Buffet breakfast starts early and lots of food to choose from! Only downside of this hotel is the location as it is far from the old town and most restaurants although it is close to the beach. Will recommend this hotel especially if you will be driving around Dubrovnik.

Had a great little trip to Dubrovnik with my Son, I wanted sun sand and sea and he wanted game of thrones so we picked this hotel. Right on the beach that offers water sports and close to bars and restaurants including a cool cave bar and only a fifteen min bus ride to the old town. Perfect for the best of both worlds. As you can see the room had an amazing view. Worthy to note, the music from the cave bar until about midnight could be heard from the room, along with the waves of the sea.
