Pega Pega Apartments

If you are looking for an affordable appartement in Aruba, Pega Pega is a great choice. It is simple and not modern or fancy but clean and spacious. We stayed for 3 weeks and had an appartement with a living room area (which we would recommend, what we saw of the studio apparments they were much smaller). There is refular cleaning, good airconditioning, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare food. The locations is very convenient since you're close to the airport and in "the middle" of the island's coast side. You can easily drive to all beaches north or south from here. The only small point of improvement is the checkin process. The appartements do not have a reception so make sure you agree on the process upfront. Overall, absolutely recommended!

This location was about a 20 minute walk from the cruise port in Oranjestad. Within a 7 minute walk you’ll find a few restaurants such as Barefoot Restaurant. The property itself is not maintained well. When I arrived there, I noticed multiple locations on the sofa where hair from the previous guest was left. Dried toothpaste as well near the soap dish. Mold on the shower curtain. Dust and dirt in the corners of walls which means the floors are not swept or mopped. My lysol wipes were dirty after I wiped down lights switches and door knobs which means nothing was disinfected. The toilet roll of tissue that was in the bathroom had been used because less than half a roll was left which leads me to believe nothing was cleaned before my arrival. The water in the shower was not even lukewarm. After requesting for a cleaning service, the employee did not inform me when she was done cleaning and left without locking the door. The doors must be locked with three keys from the inside as well as the outside which was a bit concerning. The only good thing I can say is that the A/C in the bedrooms kept the rooms cool. I would not return honestly because the price does not equal the quality of what was offered.

Pricing was very affordable. Unfortunately location is not in in close proximity of anything except the airport.

Lovely apartment. It's away from the busy areas. Need a car to get around. Very nice and clean for the price. Would recommend to all. Side note, it wasn't easy to find. Recommend day light arrival. Enjoy

The place needs some renovations, the water wasn’t going down in the bathroom in the master bedroom, I spoke to the young lady and she said her boss was going to send someone but no one came. I also found out the guy next door was having the same issue with his bathroom. They need to put air conditioning in the living room, there is not much channels to chose from, or they need a guide to say what channels they do have. What was advertised wasn’t what we got. The refrigerator was full of ice( it needed to defrost). It was like a dorm refrigerator. The area is very quiet and everything is about 4 to 5 minutes from the apartment, that was the best thing. We asked for an iron and ironing board and that was given to us.

Günstiges Apartment was leider in die Jahre gekommen ist. Aber es ist trotzdem ein schöner Platz zum entspannen. Der Stand ist sehr schnell zu erreichen und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Ich würde es Leuten empfehlen die die Insel erkunden wollen und meistens unterwegs sind.
