Stayed at the countryman with friends for one night on the way to Canberra.Smallish room but comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Good size tv and bed was very comfortable. No cooked breakfast but continental available at a price though. Good meals at the local pub .

Annoying when I book two rooms for us under book now pay later only to find $342.14 has been debited from my credit card before we even get there and are given the chance to pay separately as my mates where paying for there own room. Very poor communication.

We have stayed here many times over the years and the rooms have always been excelellent and the staff new and old have always been very friendly and personable. Very comfortable beds and facilities all that we need Had a great stay again Steve and Brenda

The room was dated. It looked like the other rooms were undergoing a reno so perhaps in time the rooms will be a lot more inviting.

To be honest when I first walked into room5 I thought " this is not a deluxe room" too small, old fashioned, smallest shower cubicle anywhere in my 25 day ride around the country but it is, within small country town restraints. Has microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, a bonus as most Australian motels dont.Had tissues, flyspray, decent hot water and pressure. Helpful bloke, apart from downside of no real milk, at reception. Walking distance to Orbost Club, great meal there! Handed key tag to room and it states licensed restaurant on premises but not so. Would stay here again

What we didn’t like was the size of shower door, not easy for older people to get in with step and small door.

Electric blanket was unique & welcome!

very clean old country style motel i would recommend anyone to stay there
