Ulasan Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel

The place is basic and old,cleanliness is not top.Many cracks and worn out amenities all around.The restaurant is old,breakfast very basic and extremely oily,breakfast staff is nice and also reception desk. This hotel is family oriented and main stayers are families as Orlando is a park oriented town.Nevertheless 2 things I noticed during my stay have bothered me and made me uncomfortable. The last 2 days,I noticed twice within 24 hours,a young lady waiting in the lobby,then a man enters waives at her,and then they go and check in at the reception.Obviously they don’t know each other.Other peoples lives are not my business,but such blunt behavior in a family oriented hotel is disturbing. Also I went to use the laundry room,machines are new though not cleaned enough.Yet I noticed that machines are located at the end of the hall with a connecting door to the parking and people from outside come with plastic bags to wash their laundry.Again it’s a public laundry,but for the hotel not for anyone passing by.Hygiene would be questioned here. Anyhow I can say I was happy to check out and leave,and definitely not a hotel I would be coming back to,and not a pleasant experience overall. Many hotels in Orlando to chose from,especially if traveling with kids.

Very dirty, the hotel is very tired, the furniture is old, in fact they charge money for extra beds, although the reservation is loaded with free provision, meager breakfasts

The hotel was nice however the hair dryer did not work so I had to wait for a half hour to receive the new one.

Let’s start with the service — the staff seemed miserable, like they hate their lives, their jobs, and definitely their guests. They treated us like we were bothering them just by existing. No warmth, no hospitality, just a bunch of people walking around like the walking dead. Now, the room. They didn’t clean it at all. The only thing they did was change the towels — that’s it. No cleaning, no fresh sheets, no nothing. It was disgusting. But the absolute worst part? There was a cockroach in the room. And when I killed it, turns out it had babies. Yes, babies. It was a full-on nightmare. I do not recommend this hotel at all. If you’re okay with sleeping in a place infested with cockroaches and where your room won’t get cleaned, then by all means, stay here. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs.

It is a good place to stay if you want to be near the Universal Studios parks

I’ve stayed here plenty of Times , breakfast is great compared to other hotels. I ultimately love the atmosphere and will be coming back again

Nice hotel, friendly stuff and clean Amenities. Unfortunately it takes to long time to get the deposit back. I’m still waiting since 10 days

No breakfast unless you pay, this includes coffee. Went to the restaurant when we checked in and the bartender/only person working was not inviting at all. We decided not to even order food because of him.

I booked by mistake about 21:00 and asked to cancel 30 mins later, they just didn’t want to, they may be like parasites who just want to get money from anywhere. This goes to fb, and others

Good option

The location is good. It's very close to Universal Studios. It's 700 meters away. There is a popular restaurant called red lobster. It's worth a try. The hotel room is very comfortable and spacious.
