It's hard reviewing a $60/night place. I had low expectations (although some of the reviews suggested something more) at that level but was looking for inexpensive spot because I was traveling solo and wasn't going to spend anytime in the room other than to sleep. Adequate for that purpose. Clean. And friendly. Rosana went out of her way to explain the town and was quite helpful. Note that it is located in a triangle between two streets, so you can get some traffic noise although not too much traffic at night, and nothing a white noise app can't handle. I had higher hopes for breakfast but it was very basic, with the hostess serving a piece of breakfast sweet tart, a slice or two of bread, cheese and ham, softboiled egg and a small thing of yogurt. And coffee to order. I left hungry. Perhaps I should've asked for more but nothing was offered, and I didnt want to be pushy.

Albergo centralissimo, traversa del corso! Si raggiungono tutti i luoghi d'interesse in pochi passi! Camera spaziosa, con tv grande finalmente! Bagno grande e nuovo con box doccia enorme! La colazione è internazionale, il top delle prime colazioni: c'è di tutto, anche selezioni di formaggi da provare col miele, uova strapazzate, bacon, uova sode, salumi..... e dolci dalla A alla Z!!! I receptionist tutti affabili e servizievoli. Un'ottima scelta e scoperta grazie allo smartbox che ci avevano regalato!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben das Hotel um 23.30 h bezogen mit dem Ziel 5-6 Stunden zu schlafen bevor wir weiter reisten. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Doch die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht resp. sie ratterte so stark, dass wir nicht schlafen konnten. Wir stellten sie ab und haben versucht mit offenen Fenster zu schlafen. Keine Chance! Auto und Zug machten es unmöglich. Im Zimmer (zu viert) war es unheimlich warm. Als wir diese Umstände dem Hotelbesitzer meldeten sagte er nur, dass wir die Klimaanlage sicherlich falsch benutzt haben. Auf das wiederholte sagen, dass sie ratterte ging er nicht ein. Er Hat sich nicht mal entschuldigen oder gar uns mit dem Preis entgegengekommen. Eigentlich war es ihm egal! Wir fuhren müde und unausgeruht weiter.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Excellent accommodations. They parked our car. They served a wonderful breakfast. I got up early (4:30 a.m.) both mornings to do some work and was able to get a cappuccino. Very gracious hosts. As far as location is concerned, the hotel is not far some Pizza della Republica and the Corso and via del Duomo. We saw everything we wanted to in Orvieto and also saw Civita di Bagnoregio.. Easy access by car, easy exit. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.
