Nice reception. The girl told us how to go to their partner, Comfort Hotel Young Hostel, to use the laundry. Although it took us 10 minutes walk, we finally can wash and dry our dirty clothes by Nok$95. And the special hotel building is quite interesting event though we have to go through several hallways and elevators. And the breakfast is quite good and various. Not to mention it just near by the central station.

We booked a superior room with balcony at the Park Inn by Radisson in Oslo for our stay in early November. Their website states: ‘Upgrade your stay with our Superior Rooms with Balcony - City View to enjoy more space and additional advantages such as a bathrobe and slippers. Choose between double and twin beds and relax with your favourite hot drink from the in-room coffee and tea facilities’ Though we initially thought the room was larger than a standard one, and their description leads you to believe that this is the case, it is, it is in fact, 4sq m smaller than a standard room. It is very cramped, with little space to unpack and move about in. People should also be aware that one of the attractions of a balcony room is that people use them to smoke outside. Our neighbour was a smoker and all we heard was sliding doors opening and closing the entire night. There were no robes and slippers and we mentioned this to housekeeping staff and though there is a coffee machine, to ‘enjoy your favourite drink’, there were no pods either (neither was there any milk UHT or otherwise). We asked housekeeping for coffee, and they said that they had not had any deliveries, so sorry, they could not provide any. The room was not cleaned during our stay, and we had not been given a choice as to whether it was or not. On the floor behind the curtains to the balcony, we also found two used plastic shot glasses that had been left there from a previous guest. We are Radisson Rewards members so sent feedback to their very inefficient customer care. We explained what happened and were given a reply: ‘Please accept my sincere apologies for the shortfalls you encountered as you have mentioned, and those points will be highly taken under consideration and informed to the concern department heads to seek a prompt improvement’ We said that while this was good that they were going to inform staff, it did nothing to address the fact that we had paid for a superior room and received in fact, less than what you get for a standard room. If we had paid at the end of our stay, we would have expected a discount, but payment was taken in full on checking in. Did they make amends, did they offer to put things right, did they make a goodwill gesture. No, we have had four different customer care people do nothing positive and are now giving us the run-around in the obvious hope that we give up pursuing this matter. We have been clear about what has happened, but it is blatantly obvious that their staff are either completely obtuse, or very cunning. They have now managed to drag our initial complaint out to eleven days, and it is obvious what their tactics are when dealing with these complaints. They offer apologies, say that they will inform heads of department of our comments and end by saying that they look forward to welcoming you again (yeah, in your dreams) As this is their very low standard of customer service, we will think very carefully about booking a Radisso

This is around 15-20 mins walk from the Oslo Central station. Not very centralized but convenient. Staff is very helpful when I had problem connecting to the wifi. Breakfast is amazing and there is a wide variety to choose from. One can have a heavy breakfast and skip lunch to save money. Also, the hotel is very close to the supermarket called Kiwi, allowing you to buy fruits and snacks at an affordable price.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days, self chek-in was easy and quick, there were employees working in an office next to it. They are willing to help you if needed. Room was clean but differs a bit from the photos they have in their website. Building is a bit oudated and carpet in the corridors are old and with stains. Otherwise the hotel is okay. TV wasn't working well, we lost signal every 10 minutes or so... very annoying. Beds are comfortable and pillows as well. Hotel is very well located with good transport links. *The only complain I have is they take ages to reply to your messages, I wrote to them some days before arriving asking for a place to leave our luggage before check-in and they didn't give me a straight answer even tho they have a room in their 5th floor. Had to find our arriving to the hotel.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus City Hotel for 2 nights and then a single night a few days later (after returning from Copenhagen). I would have given the Hotel a 5 Rating based on the 2 night stay. However, the single night stay was not so good. I was visiting Oslo for sightseeing and was on my own, so booked a single room. My first room was perfect for what I needed. It was a single, but was roomy enough for me and was clean and had everything I needed (Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV, safe, Free Wifi (which was perfect for what I needed to do... checking places to visit on my phone, listening to podcasts/ radio). The bed was very comfy and was bigger than a standard single bed. The bathroom was again very clean and had a heated floor and a walk in shower. My room (401) overlooked the back of the hotel and was very quiet. However, on my second stay, I had room 601, which was roomy and with a bigger bathroom. Again the room was very clean and equipped with every thing I needed (although there was no safe in this room). The Wifi was not working in this room, which I did highlight to a member of staff (I am not sure if this was a temporary fault or that the Wifi does not reach the 6th Floor...... ). The main issue with this room, was that it overlooked the front of the hotel and you can hear the Trams and other noises from the streets. There is also building work going on opposite the hotel (which they do warn you about) and this was also very noisy in the day (although, I was out most of the day). It took me 5 mins to walk to the central train station and there are tram and metro stops a short walk from the hotel. The main shopping street is about 50m from the front door and there are a number of bars and places to eat within a short walk. I walked to the DFDS Ferry Terminal in 20mins. Breakfast was nice, with a selection of hot and cold items, including Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled egg, Beans etc (buffet Style). Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Best Western again, if I visit Oslo, as it is very central to the transport links and has everything I needed. However, I would ask for a room which does not overlook the front of the hotel.

Room was tight in space but location really good near to the main train station. Breakfast buffet was available and not bad. Stay was comfortable. Check out can be arranged to be later on certain day

호텔 인테리어는 최신이 아니지만 객실은 깨끗하고 침구도 아주 청결합니다. 아침 조식은 기대하지 않았는데 눈이 휘둥그레질만큼 매우 훌륭하고 다양하고 맛있는 음삭이 정성껏 준비되었어요. 뭉크 호텔조식은 꽃입니다!
