Hotel berhampiran Ontake Satomiya Shrine, Otaki

We loved our 2 night stay in a spacious Japanese-style room with river views. The Inn has a nice vibe to it because it is filled with fellow hikers who share the common interest of enjoying the great outdoors. The onsite onsen was the best we experienced during our 18 days in Japan. We appreciated the free drinks vending machine provided and the dinners and breakfasts were plentiful and tasty. The washing/drying facilities were easy to operate. It is a good base for hiking trails with fabulous views. The township itself has such an interesting history being a postal town along the Nakasendo Trail. No need to pay to visit a monkey park, Japanese Macaque can be seen frequently in this area and were a pleasure to photograph.

這飯店在深山，名字就是”森林的飯店”，離山下有三公里的距離，而且附近也幾乎沒有幾家餐廳，晚上有營業的就幾乎沒有。飯店本身的餐廳只提供預訂的壽喜燒套餐，沒有預定就無法提供餐點。後來找到一家距離飯店八公里的中華料理餐廳”喜多郎”，勤奮的老闆，幾乎可以說是天天都營業，晚上還供餐到十點鐘，住這家飯店真的需要這個餐飲建議。這飯店的附近景點都很不錯，除了歷史街道之外，推薦”寢覺之床”跟”阿寺溪谷”，就以自然美景來說，真是無可取代，只是實在原始了點，建議千萬穿運動鞋去攀爬。飯店本身有大浴場，但是其實就是一個大浴池而已，三溫暖式的設備是沒有的。不算新的飯店，但是保養得很好，所有的設備都不顯得破舊，房間也大，住起來挺舒適的

寝覚めの床からすぐのところの高台にあるリーズナブルな国民宿舎です。 木曽地域は良質なヒノキを産出しますが、館内はヒノキをふんだんに使った明るい雰囲気で、廊下などヒノキのいい香りがします。 洋室の部屋は、リニューアルしているので、シンプルですが、モダンでキレイで広々しています。また、部屋の浴室も新しくキレイでした。 大浴場には露天風呂はありませんが、清潔感あるお風呂でした。お湯はそんなに、熱くなかったです。 網戸があって、外気が入ってくれば、より良いと思いました。 洗面エリアには、ハトムギ化粧水がありました。冷水はお風呂の外にあります。 日帰り湯なのに、誰もが来てませんでした。そのため、一人で利用してました。贅沢な事です。 今回二人して。がっかりしたのは、お風呂利用は朝はできない事です。今まで様々なホテルや宿に泊まりましたが、朝利用ができなかった宿は多分初めてと思います。 理由は朝は利用者が少ない、CO2排出排出制限、カーボンニュートラル等の一貫と説明文がありました。 しかしながら、部屋のお茶の湯呑みは無くて、使い捨てのプラスチックカップ、また3つのリモコンにすぐ捨てるビニールカバーがかかっているなど、ちょっとどうなのかなと思いました。 大浴場が朝使えない事は、後でよくよく見たらホームページに、利用時間が小さく載ってましたが、予約サイトには載っておらずです。 また、トロン温泉は、天然薬石を原料とした人口温泉です。地球上にわずかしかない天然鉱石トロン原石を利用し、天然温泉のような効果があるとの事です。 その点は、知ってましたが、つれあいは天然温泉と思っていたとの事です。 仕方ないので、朝は部屋風呂を使いました。ユニットバスですが、足は伸ばせる長さです。 まぁどこの宿も来てみないといろいろ分からないですね。 夕食はレストランでいただきました。席につくと、どんどん品が運ばれますが、茶碗蒸しは熱々、天ぷらは揚げたてです。りんごにチーズを挟んだてんぷらもありました。 お刺身が無い点以外は、テピカルな宿の夕食で、なかなか良かったです。 お酒は、地酒の中乗さん(なかのりさン)辛口生と、本日、訪れたい酒蔵七笑(ななわらい)の生酒300cが880円とリーズナブルでした。 朝食は和定食で、ご飯、りんごジュース、コーヒーはセルフでした。 こちらの宿の接客は、食事処も含め、かなり事務的な感じを受けました。 朝、風呂に入れないので、再訪は無いと思います。

We stayed here one night at the end of a walk along the Nakasendo way from Magome to Tsumago. The hotels shuttle bus picked us up. It’s about 20 minutes drive. I was given a choice of yukata to wear, but not my husband (as if he cared anyway!) We had a Japanese style room with a small balcony and after a delicious dinner in our own little dining cubicle, we came back to our room to find futons laid out on the floor. We didn’t try the onsen and unfortunately the private onsen was fully booked until 10pm. Breakfast was also Japanese cuisine. The serving staff were delightful. There is a guest lounge where you can help yourself to tea and coffee and newspapers. We were driven to the train station after breakfast. I’m not sure what other activities are available if you were to stay longer. One slight negative- the ensuite bathroom in our room was a bit dated. Overall, it was a great experience.

Un très ancien et historique ryokan, construit en pleine foret, vraiment magnifique. Tout était bien rien à redire, bus la gare, réception rapide et efficace, chambre avec vue magnifique sur le jardin, repas très bon servis en chambre et les bain son pas mal . ps. Ne pas venir ici si vous recherchez le luxe d'un hôtel 5 étoiles, vous serez déçus , mais si vous recherchez un endroit magnifique, ancien mais authentique, alors se sera que du bonheur.

建物の作りが面白く階段状になっている。多分もともとの敷地が斜面なので、こういう作りになっているのだと思う。またエレベータがケーブルカーみたいに斜めに上がっていく作りでおもしろい。ただし２台しかなく遅いのでなかなか来ない。せっかちな人は階段が必須だが、階段も広々しているので、個人的には意外と苦にならなかったが人によっては気になると思う。建物は古いが全体としてはまずまず綺麗に維持されていると思う。 部屋もまずまずだが、冷蔵庫が昔の有料仕様で缶とかしか入らない。流石になんとかして欲しい。 夕食はコースにもよると思うが飛騨牛、寿司/刺し身、デザート、お酒なども飲み放題でバラエティもありまあ満足できる内容だった。朝食はブッフェだが普通。 温泉はアルカリ泉でぬるぬるする。好みによるが若干ぬるめでずっと入っていられる。２Fと８Fにあり、８Fのほうが新しく露天になっているので、おすすめ。

ひっそりとしたたたずまいの「大人の宿」という感じです。 部屋数が少ないのでフロント前が騒がしくないのがまず気に入りました。 お部屋が1Fだったのでちょこっと外に出ることが出来ました。そこから眺めた山々や見上げた月、川のせせらぎに癒されました。2Fだったら川も見えたのかな？ お風呂は露天と内湯どちらも広くはないけれど、清潔感と落ち着きがあって良かったです。予約制の貸切風呂には入りませんでしたが、入浴時間をずらしたせいか夜も朝も私一人で贅沢に入れました。 そしてお料理が素晴らしいです。見た目が繊細で美しく、どれも本当に美味しかった♡個室で静かに頂けるのも贅沢感があります。 あと、特筆すべきはスタッフの皆さまが良い方ばかりで親切にしていただいた事です。細かいところにたくさんの配慮がありました。例えば、スタッフさんに今日行った場所の話をしたら、お夕食で挨拶に来て下さった女将さんがちゃんと知っていて「あそこに行かれたのですね、いかがでしたか？」と言って頂いたり、前日の朝食の好みを（連泊だったので）翌日のご担当者に引き継いでいて「昨日と同じ、おかゆとトマトジュースで良いですか？」と聞いて下さったり、同じ会話を何度もしなくて良いように情報共有されていたのにも驚きました。 年に一度のご褒美旅行、夫婦でゆったりと楽しい時間を過ごせて大満足でした。 また行きたいと思える素敵なお宿でおすすめです。

I'm struggle to put my review in words cause I am amazed by the services offered by the hotel and the staffs. First of all, upon reaching Gero station from Nagoya station using Hida Line, we are thrilled by the surrounding atmosphere and we took our time snapping photos around not knowing that the hotel offers a free shuttle bus for all their customers. The driver waited patiently at the exit gate, holding the hotel sign board waiting for all customers to leave the Gero station. This is a real PLUS in our stays. After we checked in, the staff lead us to our rooms and explained to us on the facilities of the hotel and the staff helped to exchange the size of Yukata after studying our heights. Very observant and thoughtful. There are 3 different hot springs in the hotel and if you have time, you can visit all of them. You can always put on your Yukata and walk inside the hotel region, including the stunning Japanese garden. Just that, most of the services/shops in the hotel are closed on 9pm JST. Remember to plan properly. The room is very spacious with 2 comfortable beds, a small tatami region for you to enjoy your private Japanese tea time. We love the breakfast provided by the hotel as it offered variety of both Japanese and Western breakfast. There is a shuttle bus service (usually once per hour for instance 10am, 11am and 12 noon) to fetch the customers back to Gero station. The staff waved us good bye is another amazing experience provided by Japanese. It is just amazing feeling. Tips: 1. You can purchase the 5Days JR pass and enjoy unlimited ride on some JR trains if you plan to visit Nagoya region and a day trip to Tateyama Alpine Kurobe route. 2. There are not many tourists during our visiting time (24 April 2023) and we love the peaceful feeling of it. Just that, it also comes with not many restaurants are available during the day.
