Ulasan Toyoko Inn Fujisan Otsuki-Eki

The hygiene was excellent, and the hotel feels quite new. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, during my extended stay, a staff member asked me to switch rooms, which I found unusual. After I explained, it was resolved without an issue.

I had a great stay at Toyoko Inn near Fujisan. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were polite and helpful, and the location is convenient if you’re planning to explore the area around Mt. Fuji. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety, which was a nice way to start the day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a simple, clean, and hassle-free stay in the area. There is also a mag lev museum nearby that you can visit if you’re interested with trains ☺️

There is nothing much around the area but this is an excellent place to stay if you're in on a driving trip and need to stop for the night. The rooms are comfortable, there is a coin operated laundromat, and a large lounge where you can microwave your kombini-food and eat with friends/family. The free breakfast was simple but tasty. We didn't get to try the onsen but there is one available! Just note that Google maps tends to bring you down some d as rk.and narrow roads to get to the hotel.

The room smelled heavily of smoke. My child couldn't stand it. The reception staff only spoke Japanese.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Otsuki station (a bit longer if the train crossing gates are down). It's a large comfortable room, modern and with a great hot shower. This is a great alternative to the overpriced hotels of Kawaguchiko during the height of cherry blossom time. Added bonus, at night time this is a small town accustomed to very few foreigners spending the night and you will surely get the feel of small town Japan lifestyle and kindness. I was at a restaurant with zero menu English and zero spoken English, yet at the end of the meal the owner gave me a very nice gift. That was a beautiful memorable moment of my time in Japan. Buffet Breakfast is included in the price at the hotel and on some days it was pretty good. Staff's English was not the best but they were patient and helpful during the check in procedure. Seeing Mt. Fuji during Cherry Blossom season is a fantastic experience, and if you're on a tight budget but don't want to stay in a hostel, this hotel is your answer

This hotel is located with minutes walk from Otsuki station, where you can connect to Fujikyuko line to Kawaguchiko. They also got free bus for hotel guests to selected destinations at Kawaguchiko. The room is clean, you can the necessary amenities at the lobby free.

Very clean and spacious (we took the Family room). The rooms and building looks relatively new. Very close to train station and Aeon. Convenient for a pitstop.

convenient with free shuttle bus. strongly recommend to stay.. however, the receptionist has weak command of English so there might be a little communication barrier and they do not seem helpful.
