The motel itself was very nice and well placed on the outskirts of town but the owners were rude and unpleasant

We needed accommodation for the night before an early morning flight, and Rideau Heights Inn was close by and inexpensive. Check-in was slow because of a long phone call in reception, WiFi didn’t work, and we had to leave before breakfast, with no take-away option. The room looked worn, but was clean.

It’s unique, pretty and very home-y.
The gentleman at the office was lovely.
It's a refreshing break from the bland, sterile, abstract esthetic of Every Other Hotel.
I feel I can actually slow down and relax.
Tucked into a quiet road in the trees, it feels comfortable and very safe.
I felt like I was at a lovely cottage nestled in a little road off the beaten path, beautiful old trees surround the property and I loved seeing their lovely Christmas lights through my window when I was relaxing on the couch.
A landmark in the area for over 35 years, I finally have stayed here and it truly is a lovely, peaceful place to rest your weary head.

Toilet door could barely close and the door nob was falling off, toilet seat was on its last legs, shower head was held together with hopes and dreams, no hand soap, two small pillows for two people and when i asked for more pillows (plural) i was given one and that was "all i get".
the included breakfasr was cereals and coffee and an apple, pretty meh.

The rooms were cozy and clean. The coffee pot was clean and the fridge smelled clean! Very important when travelling far from home. The bed and those pillows were so Comfortable! The area was so nice and quiet! Excellent and I highly recommend this place!

It was decent for what I paid. But needed a hair dryer and had checked when I booked that they had one in the rooms, but went to use it and it was broken. It was the middle of the night, so I couldn't call to have it fixed and was very disappointed.
