I’d stay there again

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting. We stayed two nights at La Sultana Oualidia and wished we'd stayed longer. The hotel is peaceful and beautifully situated on the lagoon, and we especially enjoyed breakfast on our terrace and relaxing by the pool. The highlight was taking a small boat across the lagoon, walking over the dunes and finding an almost empty Atlantic beach where we spent the morning and swam in the ocean. Service was excellent throughout. Our only regret was booking just two nights—we felt as though we'd barely settled in before it was time to leave. We'd happily return for a longer stay.

A fantastic hotel. We had a great and relaxing experience at la Sultana. Amazing facilities that are very well taken care of, and the service from the staff was top tier. Houssin, Fatima and Omayma took great care of us during our stay and we were delighted with their service. Would definitely recommend.

A spot on the Atlantic coast where you can truly recharge, fresh, top-quality seafood, excellent service

One of the best hotels I've been to. The grounds and hotel are stunning but what sets La Sultana apart is the staff. They go above and beyond. Hanan was our lovely server for breakfast. There was no better way to start the day, she even shared photos of her daughter with us. Mourad is the new manager who will assist with anything. He even called the next hotel we were visiting to ensure we were taken care of. I hesitated to visit La Sultana as it was a bit out of our way but it was the highlight of our Moroccan trip. We hired a car to drive us from Marrakesh to Oualidia where we spent 3 nights recovering from travel and enjoying the hotel. I highly recommend La Sultana to begin your Moroccan adventure or as a quiet escape. I hope to return. Thank you Mourad!

We stayed here for a week away from kids and work. Fabulous place. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. White Lotus without the drama 😃. Rooms are really nice. Each w a private terrace. Check out the tree top house! - We got a chance to have a look, and it is a unique room. The hotel offers several leisure activities. We tried fat bikes, horse riding and kayaking. They also offer cooking classes, paddle tennis and more. Just the right level of activity for a relaxing holiday. Absolutely worth visiting!

This is a beautiful place. It’s been carefully designed to take maximum advantage of its setting and, this is what really makes it, the people who work here are a delight. Every gardener, housekeeper, receptionist, spa provider, waiter/waitress was absolutely committed to making us as relaxed and comfortable as possible. When we were here, it was virtually empty, just 2 rooms occupied, but lots of lunchtime visitors. I suspect that, whenever you come here, the staff will ensure that you feel like you are their only concern!

My wife and I have just enjoyed 5 idyllic days here and it's honestly one of the best places we've ever been. We travelled around through Marrakech, Agafay, the Atlas Mountains and Essaouira and this was hands down the best place we stayed. The service throughout was exceptional: super friendly staff, very attentive and keen to make sure we had everything we wanted at all times. Lovely touches like tea and pastries delivered to a little cupboard outside the room for the mornings. The food was exceptional throughout, and all the fresh seafood was a pleasant break from the rich food (tagine etc) you get elsewhere in Morocco. And obviously the oysters are fantastic, given the location. With only 12 rooms the hotel always feels quiet and actually in May when we were there it was super quiet, it was almost like we had the whole place to ourselves at times. We fell in love with the lagoon and the way the tide comes in and out, changing the landscape throughout the day. And if you can be bothered to leave the hotel, the beach is gorgeous. We enjoyed a hammam and massage in the spa, which was delightful. Best hammam we had in Morocco, never felt so clean! It's not cheap but it shouldn't be, as it's the best. And actually comparing it to other places we stayed in Morocco (which weren't nearly as good) the price stacks up very favourably. Just go!

Amazing experience. The location was sublime, the room beautiful, the atmosphere was quiet yet exhilarating, the food delicious and the staff some of the best, most welcoming I have ever experienced. I hope to be able to visit again! And I loved the art around the property plus the number of small, quiet places and spaces to enjoy on your own.
