Wir haben auf der Durchreise ein gutes aber günstiges Hotel gesucht und sind bei diesem Ibis Hotel sehr positiv überrascht worden. Sehr gepflegte und saubere Zimmer mit allem was man für eine Nacht benötigt. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, wir haben lediglich ein italienisches Restaurant in der Nähe gefunden, das war aber sehr lecker.

Je cherchais un hébergement pour 2 nuits pour un stage ayant lieu à 30min. Réservation faite via le site. Le personnel de réception a été super ! J'ai pu modifier ma réservation sur place en passant du dortoir 4 places à une chambre individuelle en complétant par CB sur place. Parking très pratique. Dîner et petit-déjeuner sur place avec un choix correct pour une auberge de jeunesse.

This is absolutely an unacceptable hotel that claims to have a 3-star rating. In the room even basic facilities like a kettle are not provided. Customers need to pay another CHF14 to get a mini bar fridge. The room does not provide hot water because no kettle is provided. We had to go to the communal area to get help for hot water. The toilet door has no lock and cannot be fully closed. Sound proofing is absolutely a joke - my family of four could not sleep well as we were terribly affected by the lodger upstairs talking, dragging chair along in late night and early morning. I went upstairs to ask why the lodgers caused so much noise without thinking of people living downstairs. We were not enjoying the stay in the IBIS room but counting how many days remaining to leave this place. I have to say my family will certainly avoid IBIS brand in our holiday/business trip from now on and spread this experience in my community.

Extremely nice and cosy hotel. Not the first stay but always as good, being alone in single room or in couple or family in bigger rooms. All rooms have a view on the lake ... when not the Mont-Blanc itself ... Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant being for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Only negative note is parking not really available.

Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Küchenzeile für eine Woche gebucht. Das Hotel ist neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es liegt in der Nähe der Autobahn in einer Industriezone, was jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (z.B. Lidl 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt) und man kann schöne Spaziergänge zum See oder in den Weinbergen machen. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal immer sehr freundlich. In der Küchenzeile gab es eine Mikrowelle, einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und zwei Kochplatten. Den Rest (Geschirr, Töpfe, Abwaschmittel, usw) muss man selber mitnehmen. Wir hatten uns da nicht so viele Gedanken gemacht und haben einfach ein paar Sachen gekauft. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Room for improvement. First, the heating in the bedroom could not be turned off so you sleep in a sauna. Personal is aware of the problem But apparently there is 1 central heating system that heats all rooms and can only be turned on and off. Hotel is next to busy road, and next to a farm where the goats wear ring bells around the neck, so opening window was not nice either. Hardly slept at all. Breakfast starts at 7 but was very sp****. When we left around 8 the croissants, eggs, yummy snacks came. If you are not ready than dont start at 7 am. Cleaning public areas was neat, rooms could be better. Door was yellow from the many fingerprints and pillowcase was dirty. Restaurant did not open until April (was not a problem for us). View from the hotel is beautiful though. Easy to reach by car and train

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel, located in Bussigny, about 15 minutes from Lausanne, has some nice features -- the rooms are generally pleasant, the breakfast is good (although not cheap), and the restaurant is high quality. Unfortunately, there are some shortcomings that keep it from being really top notch. The housekeeping is spotty -- one day all of our towels were removed by the housekeeping staff but none were replaced. On another, the cleaning was incomplete. The air conditioning was fairly noisy. And like too many hotels these days, even in summer they give you a heavy comforter that necessitates cranking up the air conditioning to sleep comfortably. If you're going to be in Bussigny this is a reasonable choice (there's only one other hotel), but needs to do a bit of work to be a really good choice.
