Lovely, comfortable hotel in quiet street, yet close to City Centre and amenities, thoroughly recommend.

The lodge has an excellent location for seeing Oxford for any length of time. It's a short walk to the city centre -- including where the bus from London drops you off -- or local shops and eateries in the other direction. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and well-travelled themselves. Facilities were all clean, comfortable, and affordable. We liked it so much that we went back again, and already looking forward to next time!

This hotel was everything we needed. The standout was the buffet breakfast! It was great. The rooms were a good size, they had a bath and all the amenities you would find in a good hotel. The staff were helpful abd overalk it was an enjoyable experience.

The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast tasty and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Especially Josh at the front desk is a brilliant host. Great value for money. Just one suggestion, the hotel should give free complimentary water to all guests and not just executive room guests.

The hotel is very far from town center. Walk about 30 mins to town. No aircon. Very hot during summer vacation. Hotel provided fan but still it is not comfortable at night time breakfast ok. Would not recommend to stay.

The location is good and easy to find. The bed is so comfy.The lightings were great. Would consider staying here again.

Avoid and book town centre hotel! Not worth the money at all. The deputy manager is not familiar with the room. He told me room 6 is with bathtub but it’s not when I’m inside. Room not very clean (see pictures). Double bed is small. There’s an air-con but they don’t give you the remote and saying they don’t have air-con and only offer fan. There’s no power socket or USB port next to the bed. This is a lodge and not proper hotel as the name said. Keep in mind that this hotel doesn’t offer late checkout even if you’re diamond select member and book directly. Honest advice, If you’re spending £130 to book this room already, pay a little bit more to book the Marriott in town centre.
