Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Great location within a few minutes walk of the Cathedral. Staff professional and charming. Breakfast was a delight with high quality ingredients. A real 4 star hotel experience. Would stay again and recommend.

The hotel is built into the old city walls, overlooking the ocean - with exquisite architectural details. It’s location is perfect - right on the edge of the historic district. But the amenities are the reason to be there- the rooftop desk is magnificent, free wifi and breakfast all by itself is the reason to stay - it was fresh & imaginative - with fresh pastries, fruits, cold cuts and pancakes. They also arranged transport (for a fee) from the airport - worth every penny. We stayed in room 7 (the suite) - great view, large room, large, beautiful bathroom & amazing, quiet sleep “cave”. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is built into the historic walls of the old city. It is a fascinating mix of style, history and comfort. The staff could not have been kinder, and the hotel could not have been more beautiful. It made our trip to Sicily a great one. The hotel is very reasonably priced and offered a wonderful breakfast every morning. It also has a beautiful rooftop view with a bar for happy hour. I don’t want to sound like a commercial, but this place was great.

Great breakfast, attentive and happy staff! Rooftop terrasse with a small pool was a bonus. Sad that there was construction going on at the building beside (July 2023) so using the terrasse wasn't so quiet during the day and the stench from the street restaurant garbage was so bad some nights, in front of such a beautiful hotel. Otherwise a wonderful bed, and quiet room. Would definitely recommend visiting if you like unique hotels.

Brand new super cozy location! Managed with love and high attention to details. Located in front of the sea, you can enjoy the view from the wonderful terrace that hosts a cool bar and a small pool or just chilling sunbathing. The rooms are just what every traveller is looking for, comfortable, clean and really nice. The breakfast is really good with fresh fruits, brioches, coffee and whatever you need to start your journey served in the garden while your are enjoying the chilly air. The b&b is close to major city attractions and 15min walking from the central train station. I definitely wanna come back next time I will be in Palermo!!

This review is based on the fact that we paid 196€/night (+ city tax) and that we stayed 7 nights. We wanted a nice hotel where we could enjoy both the proximity of restaurants and also relax at the pool (we just came back from a 3 weeks road trip). My review would have been better if the price per night would have been cheaper, it is just that at that price, we expected a better quality and experience overall. TL:DR: Don’t do it. To be fair I have asked to change room and it was declined. Long: + : location in the historical center, everything is accessible within 5 to 20min walk. The common areas of the b&b are beautifully decorated and big. The lady serving breakfast was very lovely. - : everything else. The location included, being on one of the busiest street of Palermo. Which is very difficult when you try to enjoy the pool. - The WIFI, despite having 3 different ones, none is really working - Our room was #2 located right above a restaurant and a gelateria. forget about sitting on your little private balcony for sipping some wine, first of all there is no chair or table given (I will talk below about the furniture in the room, or the absence of it), because if you do so, all the people eating at the restaurant will stare at you. About that, the restaurant turn on very heavy gigantic projectors over the terrasse for their customers to actually see at night. Turns out since your room has no blinds and only curtains (not thick), the projectors happily brighten your room like my grandparents’ house in a competition for the biggest Christmas lighting and decoration, until 2 a.m. - The room. The bathroom is very small, the shower is only a rain shower (which makes it difficult for the Staff to clean, saw some stuff I didn’t want to see, not the fault of the staff) and the water doesn’t get very warm. We raised the point to the manager, the answer was « oh this is news to us », really? Because when I read other reviews on the internet, it seems that it should really not be news to you. Don’t bring too much clothes, the only thing you can do is hang your clothes, for the rest, there is simply no space. The room is located under room #3, therefore we had the pleasure to hear every movement of the people above us, every light switch on and off. The room is very very big, but what is the point of having such a big room if you don’t put a little couch or little lounge in there? There is one arm chair and one plastic chair (mostly used to put our clothes on, ie my comment above). Therefore you stand in that big room, or sit on your bed. - Amenities: we drank from the same glasses and the same water carafe for 7 days. We got lucky to have gotten these by asking for them on day one, and it was never washed or replaced. We could have asked for it indeed, but during the day, there is no one in the b&b. Therefore if you need something, get your chance by asking during breakfast, after that it is too late. Same for the pool towels. Kept the same f

Three night stay in late September. Location: pluses were location across park from sea, perpendicular plentiful public parking easy right in front of hotel. Slight negative was greater walking distance to town center. Very tasteful, very roomy modern interior of hotel reconstructed inside a 500 year old building, including multiple reading rooms for relatively few guests. A few minor finishing imperfections included loose faucet, wall plates, crumbles of concrete falling from beautiful ceiling to floor of room. Stair handrails look nice, but poorly place for safety function. Tiny key lock on unit doors at thigh height. Primary lights on floor, look nice until you realize they are very irritating; fortunately, three-way switch allows floor lights to be turned off. Rooftop terrace with tiny swimming pool and terrible music (Americans, think “lounge singer” from SNL), though nice very quiet music in breakfast area. In warm weather the rooftop provides view of ships and nighttime view of lights and temple. Did not see anybody use the pool, couldn't swim in it but maybe cool off on hot day. Very nice staff including breakfast waiter, bartender, cleaning. Nice breakfast served at table. Espresso machine in room. Perhaps best for do-it-yourself travelers, since nobody at desk on arrival or departure. Local phone number provided for questions, but I was reluctant to use it. Credit card equipment not functioning on their end for departure, so left up to guest to figure out how to pay, though politely: go to bancomats? or do an international money transfer bank to bank? Suggest trying to check out a day in advance so as not to delay airport trip. Eventually, late in day prior to departure, I got answer on the phone that the system was out in the whole city but was restored. Got it paid eventually, though not very convenient to spend all that time on this chore. Called via preferred What’s App evening before checkout to inform that there was no toilet paper refill in room after that day’s cleaning—never got an answer. In spite of my low rating, now that I know how to avoid most of the bugs, I would be inclined to go back a second time, primarily because of the parking and the lack of crowds.

Posto magnifico. Per motivi di lavoro, cercavo un posto sul lungomare vicino ad una sede congressuale, convinta dalla vicinanza e dalla particolarità, prenoto 5 stanze per 4 notti. All’ingresso restiamo stupefatte da ciò che vediamo. Stanze una più spettacolare dell’altra. Tutte con un tocco particolare, soffitti in legno curatissimi, pareti di pietra senza la minima traccia di polvere, pulizie giornaliere. Colazione abbondante e buonissima, personale squisito, presente ma non invadente, sempre pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problema. Grandi spazi in comuni, una corte interna, piena di piante ed alberi dove abbiamo preferito fare colazione visto il clima ancora mite, tutto apparecchiato in maniera ineccepibile. Terrazza con piscina e vista del lungomare Lo consiglio vivamente anche solo per staccare dalla routine, non vi deluderà.

Struttura all'interno delle mura antiche di Palermo, un recupero veramente di grande gusto. Situato di fronte al Foro Italico, comodo per raggiungere a piedi il centro. Bellissimi anche gli spazi comuni, il cortile, sicuramente in estate sarà meraviglioso poter gustare fuori la colazione. Camera quadrupla/suite molto spaziosa, bagno un pò piccolo e affaccio unicamente sul cortile interno con poca privacy per via del tendaggio sulla porta di ingresso fatta di vetro.
