Lovely hotel overlooking a piazza. We booked a room with a balcony which was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. It is centrally located with bakeries, restaurants, shops and history right on your doorstep. Although it is a busy road, as is all the center you cannot hear the traffic in the room. The photographs of the Hotel absolutely do not do it justice at all, it is so much better.

We had a good stay at this hotel. Room was large, furniture abit dated and air con. Room also had a fridge. Clean rooms, staff were super friendly. Hotel is 10-15 minutes walk to the historic centre. Breakfast was lovely also. Good value hotel with 24 hour reception. Only downside is the noisy plumbing every time someone uses the loo, the room next to it can hear it.

For the price paid per night (＜£70) and its location, it’s what you need for exploring Palermo. Walkable distance to Palermo Lolli train station (where the airport train will take you) and bus stops. On a quieter street with coffee shop downstairs and a couple of bars in close distance. Lots of options for dinner close by too. The room was basic, clean, comfortable bed. The bathroom could go a refresh. Air con was okay. Managed to check in early which was welcome. There is a bit of noise you can hear from your neighbours / the reception but it doesn’t go on late at all.

Overall a good hotel. Location is excellent, central to most of the major sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Breakfast not too exciting. Our one big drawback was the advertised free parking is not free. It costs €10 a night and we were not made aware of this before hand. The parking garage is not based at the hotel but further down the street and is very difficult to drive to. Normal procedure is to call the hotel and they ask you to pull over on a busy road and a parking attendant will come and get you. He then keeps the car and car keys at his garage and will bring the car out on request from the hotel. The system worked well once we were aware but again it caused some stress and confusion on our first night driving around a busy city. And driving in Palermo is not for the faint hearted!

We stayed for one night in September 22. The hotel is directly on the Main Street of Palermo near the bus and train station. It’s an older hotel and many of the facilities are dated. The lift is a museum piece. Our room was small and the bathroom was very cramped. The furniture in the room was showing lots of wear and tear. The room and bedding and towels were clean. The shower was very low pressure and temperature was hard to control. Couldn’t get the tv to work. No view from the room but very quiet. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop terrace that has a stunning view over Palermo and the hills and we watched a fantastic thunderstorm at dusk with some pricey G&T in our hands. Breakfast in the morning was a good selection of pastries with juice and coffee. We were early so the hot options had not arrived.

Albergo ben posizionato anche grazie alla presenza della metropolitana. In ogni caso anche a piedi si arriva al politeama in massimo 20 minuti. Pulizia ottima. Unica pecca per chi lo desiderasse la mancanza di una colazione salata.

After EasyJet cancelled our flight as we were boarding our late evening flight we found ourselves being ferried to this small town miles from the airport and arrived at 5am along with 50 other tired and harried passengers to be met by a smiling and very efficient manager who dispensed with the usual checking in - he had all 50 guests in bedrooms within 15 minutes. The bedrooms were clean comfortable air conditioned and mostly with balconies and we were all asleep by 530am. The next day he had arranged breakfast for the extra 50 guests and then a delicious lunch . The manager and his amazing staff put up our constant queries about being collected, fixed us drinks at the bar, and provided a reassuring presence at a very stressful time. The hotel itself was comfortable, airy and spacious; our room was not wanting and the fresh bed and well appointed bathroom ensured that we felt as human as possible under the difficult circumstances. We landed on our feet in an unlikely town but realised you should never judge a book by its cover.

TTourist32526623807We spent 7 nights here at the start of September and it felt like we’d been there for weeks when we left, so relaxed were we. We’d gone to Palermo as our friend was getting married but wanted to stay outside of the city. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Prior to going I’d emailed to ask for a hairdresser recommendation. This was sorted easily and Giuseppe’s sister came to the hotel and put my hair up. She did a wonderful job. The hotel is small and so quiet. We were in room 3 which backed on to the kitchen. I’m a light sleeper and did worry but the soundproofing is excellent. We never heard anything. I slept well every night! The air con was excellent which was much needed due to high temperatures and the room was lovely. It was cleaned every day. The pool is a welcome respite when it’s hot and there’s plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It is close to the beach and the hotel has a key to a gate that cuts off some time. There’s a supermarket about 5 mins walk. It’s small but has everything. Ask staff for recommendations for a local pizza place but book it. You can takeaway too. Nicest pizza I’ve ever had. The hotel’s restaurant is locally known as high quality. We ate there twice and the food is spectacular. Breakfasts are beautiful. If they have sugar donuts get two!! In fact get 2 of everything!! What makes this hotel so special are the staff. They are all fabulous and go out of their way to help and just be friendly. The owner is the same. Jussi, Constanza, Jason, Giuseppe and Valentina THANK YOU. The other staff are just as good but I did not catch their names so sorry! Jussi summed up this hotel. She said she loves to work there which to me says it all. If staff are happy then so are guests. The owner is looking at getting the pool heated next year and considering Christmas openings. I will be going back.

PPengguna TetamuI really enjoyed my stay despite some minor issues. The suite was modern, well designed, clean with comfortable mattress and sheets. We were few minutes walk to Palermo Central Train/ Bus station, so when traffic is high, no need to take a cab and be stressed, you just pick up your luggage and walk. The property manager was very nice to us. The area was a bite odd, but I felt safe. Please note it would have been better to return before 22:30 if you were on foot. I travelled with my mum and my kid so I certainly needed an elevator. You have to give the door a Hard Push either to the elevator or your suite room and everything will be fine. I had one day an issue with the shower as the drain was clogged and a lot of water went onto the floor, my mum tried to fix it with some towels. As a Civil Eng., I understand that some technical workers did not do properly their work and I do respect someone else property, so I immediately sent a message to the manager to fix it. In the meanwhile I showered in the small bathroom we had in order to save time and enjoying our holiday. On our return it was fixed. Finally, Palermo is an very interesting city with friendly people and I particularly enjoyed my double cappuccino at Gran Cafe TORINO and dinner at SciuRum restaurant.

DDanielle ZResidenza Wagner is truly the perfect place to stay when visiting Palermo. Not only is it conveniently located near the historical center as well as just so many great places to eat and wander, it's also just an incredibly friendly place. Francesco and his staff are super friendly and helped us with absolutely everything we needed (including impromptu taxi rides and umbrellas). They were in contact with us before our stay even started to make sure that everything went smoothly and were always willing to answer any and all questions that we might've had. Francesco even opened up to us about Residenza Wagner's previous life as a home as well as his grandmother's beautiful artwork which decorates the walls of the entire place. And the rooms? They're just as advertised. They're comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The beds are SO comfortable and I had a great view from my room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There's truly no better place to call your home away from home than Residenza Wagner.

Greeted by friendly receptionist on arrival late at night. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the upper-most floor. The room was spacious and well equipped, with two beds, bedside tables, a large chair, a desk, a fridge, television, but most importantly an air-conditioning unit. Everything was in good working order. The outlet plugs are the strange italian 3-pin ones as opposed to the usual Europe 2-pin model, so not all our adaptors worked. Bathroom was decent and has everything one would expect. The shower is rather on the small side and could do with higher water pressure. More than ample lighting in the room. Our only real complaint of the stay is that every single night (we stayed 5 nights) there was an awful noise and commotion coming from directly below the hotel’s balcony - some kind of odd party going on every night. Unsure if this was related to the hotel itself or not. This noise continued well into 02:00H / 2am. I messaged reception every night that ‘il rumore é troppo forte’ but nothing was ever done. Dinner was absolutely awful - shocking quality at extortionate prices; hardly anything traditionally italian either. Save yourself and go somewhere local or in the city centre. Much better and cheaper elsewhere. Location seems good but public transport in the area is abysmal and should not be relied upon. Taxis are incredibly expensive, especially for tourists. Apart from those issues it was a good stay and would stay again. I just wouldn’t dine in the restaurant ever again, and would probably request a room away from that god-forsaken balcony.

PPengguna TetamuDu 09.05 au 14.05 matin En plein centre de Palerme, un hôtel très moyen pour un prix élevé. bruyant comme jamais, impossible de dormir sans coton dans les oreilles et encore ! La chambre était terne sans aucune déco. Point positif : la literie et le personnel de chambre. L’accueil est juste aimable. Quant au petit déjeuner : Buffet continental ( c'est une plaisanterie ) pas de pain basique, pas de beurre, pas de café hormis un expresso de 10ml. La machine ne fonctionnait pas ( donc pas moyen de se rabattre sur un chocolat chaud ) Même si l'hôtel n'y est pas pour grand chose, les conditions pour garer son véhicule le soir est dantesque. tourner 1 heure en passant par des ruelles si étroites qui fallait rabattre les rétros ( voiture normale) sans compter l'état des routes et des rues ( pas de trou sur la chaussée DES CREVASSES. Palerme est très sale et très bruyante Bref je vous déconseille vivement cet hôtel pour la prestation globale et sa situation géographique. Très déçu.

PPengguna Tetamu-Location: the hotel is located in a downtown neighborhood but close to tourist attractions -Service: the biggest issue we encountered was to check in the hotel upon arrival. Since there is no reception at the building, you’re supposed to contact the hotel owner, William, by phone for getting the keys. However, the breakfasts there were lovely with scenic rooftop view and handmade beverages by the caterer -Cleanliness: the room is generally clean but there’s no daily cleaning service and windows need to be opened to dispel odors -Amenities: the best part of the hotel’s amenities was that they got a water dispenser for refilling your water bottles *the staff there only speak Italian
