Royal Palm Resort on the Beach

DO NOT Stay here! especially if they give you unit 1c. Firstly the carpark lay out is ridiculous signs say carpark A,B,C wouldn't you think we'd be in C NO Carpark A and no lift so if you have a wheelchair you have to push it up the ramp to access the lift! The unit was old and grubby with stains on the carpet and a strange smell. The flyscreen in the lounge didn't close properly and had a big hole in it. There were no curtains or blinds in the lounge so everyone playing tennis can see into your area and if you want to watch TV from the kitchen YOU CAN'T due to the glare on the TV for the windows. In the kitchen there was oil dripping from the range hood onto the stove top. The main bedroom had no air con or flyscreen so you had to keep the doors shut or get eaten by mosquitoes which had been previously squashed on the bedroom walls and not removed. The second bedroom HAD a flyscreen but the windows were nailed shut! We received a welcome letter on our arrival Sunday and it stated "A complimentary starter pack has been provided for your convenience, once depleted you will need to purchase additional items........" On Monday afternoon ( we had to wait until then as there was no one at reception when we left for the day at 8.55am) I went to reception to advise of the above. The young girl kept saying sorry and when I asked to speak to the manager the lady next to her piped up "I'm the manager". When I re mentioned the above Sara sarcastically told me "I'll get housekeeping to come in on Tuesday and IF you really need coffee I can give you a satchet now" Seriously the attitude was disgraceful and this is the worst so called resort we have EVER stayed in. Do yourself a favour and avoid there are plenty of other resorts located on the beach in this area. I just wish I'd chosen one of those :(

We booked through bookings .com a superior apartment two bedroom . Thinking we would get a beautiful Apartment! Wrong !! We got a total different apartment from the photos , We have just sheets on the bed no blankets at all , main bedroom door had hole and patches of paint missing , the onsuit bathroom. Well where do I start dirty shower screen basin rusty old and dirty ! Toilet brush I would use it so Old and dirty ! Kitchen cups were so dirty I had to bleach and dish-wash before using ! Mix match of plate and glasses we horrible looked cheap and looked like the were purchased from an opp shop ! This apartment was 7B the sofa has seen better day s for sure cutlery trays were old and cracked , junk in cupboards , dust every where well over due for a major clean ! Patio doors wouldn’t open properly and balcony railings were wobbly as you lean on it (safe issue here) Lots of Reno’s going on so loud noises going on ! So Disappointed as the beach was perfect and surrounding Restaurants and cafe were great ! Please do a complete check on this before booking .

I checked into Room L5 6D for a three-night stay and am appalled with the condition and amenities of the residency. I reserved the 2 bedroom deluxe and noted that it included a 'modern' bathroom. In reality, the ensuite and bathroom haven't been updated since construction in the 1980s. While I note that the room is stated as having 'partially-renovated' living areas, the condition of the bathroom isn't displayed or detailed on any section of your website. The carpets in both bedrooms are threadbare and putrescent. I was also shocked to find that a 'deluxe' room is not equipped with any form of heating or cooling. Regarding cleanliness, the floor was filthy. It was caked in grime and I had to clean the entire tiled area on my hands and knees due to not having a mop. Much of the crockery in the cupboard, including fry pans, serving bowls and grater were dirty with food still stuck to them. The doonas were also dirty and one was smeared with makeup. In summary, if I had seen accurate photos of the 'modern' bathroom I would have never booked this accommodation which has been abated by deceitful marketing, let alone the myriad of cleanliness issues.

We stayed in a one bedroom on the 4th floor room 434. It had everything a couple would need for a weekly stay. Kitchen had a few pots - one large frying pan, one large pot and one smaller pot. Dishes bowls spoons forks etc were plenty. Had a toasted and an iron. Stove had 2 burners, there’s a microwave and full size refrigerator/ freezer, The bed was king size, but the mattress should be replaced sometime very soon. More than two people would be too crowded. Ramone checked us in. He was extremely efficient and very friendly. Two things I did not appreciate 1- we had to pay to park, mind you it was $10. Per Day not appropriate for guests. There was a valet, and I can see paying him if that’s what you want to do, but we chose to park our car as our beach chairs etc were in our car. 2- there was a daily charge for beach chairs.. ok.. no problem, but, if you chose to bring your own you had to be away from the paying guests and on the public side of the beach. Umbrellas were $20. Day chairs with umbrellas 30. Each. Costly…the resort had a beautiful pool, plenty of seats but as most places they fill up quickly. There was a DJ at the pool and a tiki bar for drinks and snacks. Full sized restaurant and food was good! Nightly specials and entertainment. If you choose to go out there were several restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is a spa - very fairly priced, a room where ladies played conasta and marjon. The resort is very nice and very clean!. Definitely should be on your radar!

Wir waren eine Woche hier und waren begeistert . Die Anlage ist wirklich top gepflegt , die Pools sehr sauber. Am privaten Strand am Meer gibt es genügend Liegestühle sowie Sonnenschirme. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend . An einem Tag waren wir beim Aqua Center um eine Schnorchel Tour zu Buchen . Sehr nettes Team ,vor allem der Chef Abo Raslan ,hat uns alles Perfekt erklärt und wir waren 5h mit einen Boot unterwegs und sind an sehr schönen Korallenriffs geschnorchelt .Eine Empfehlung wert

Hotel com boa infraestrutura, porém, falho na manutenção e no atendimento, principalmente no bar da piscina, onde não há garçons atentos para atender os hóspedes na beira da piscina e encontramos dificuldade de atendimento perto da mesa de sinuca e na limpeza de mesas em geral. No fim da tarde copos plásticos e guardanapos se encontravam no chão a beira da piscina, uma equipe de limpeza mais atenta resolveria o problema.
