My partner and I went to melia Palma bay in October 2024. Would say from the service and attitude of a few staff it was More 3* A few notes to bear in mind Pool bar often not manned and you were expected to order via the app and they bring drinks but to be honest the signal Wasn’t great and it’s frustrating having to do that. I went down to the bar which is breakfast room in the morning turned into bar later in the day but they wouldn’t let me take drinks up to the pool bar. All in all very frustrating! Also the staff that manned the bar at certain times of day were rude and unhelpful to my partner when he asked to top his beer up as low in the glass . When I asked about towels they said no towels And promptly ignored Me. Towels did come later but we had been using same towels for an hour from day before. We had a lovely stay in Palma. Beautiful place and restaurant across road called Aroma serving Indian food on beach front was absolutely beautiful. Amazing cuisine.. Would think twice about the melia Palma bay though in future. Location great for beach that may be it’s saving grace as just over the road. Very clean hotel which was important to us
Summum Boutique Hotel, member of Meliá Collection

Unique, stylish, boutique hotel within very easy walking distance of the centre of Palma city. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Every single member of staff were so friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with smiles and dealt with any requests quickly and efficiently, making dinner reservations, advising on local bus routes and printing timetables. It was very easy to ask the staff questions and they always had time for us, often asking if we had enjoyed a dinner reservation or how our day had been. Our room was a delightful, serene haven to return to and relax in. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Lovely toiletries, and other useful items such as tissues, shaving kit, slippers and robes were available. There was a coffee maker and a kettle to make tea was provided on request together with tea bags and fresh milk. The bed was turned down each evening and chocolates left. The air conditioning was completely quiet. There was a wide choice of high quality products available at breakfast and everything was delicious. The team serving breakfast were polite and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to be able to return in the future. Best wishes and many thanks to all the staff for helping to make our holiday so perfect.

Arrived early but room unavailable and nowhere to freshen up after flight. Friendly, welcoming reception but could only store luggage for another 4 hours until room ready. Hotel situated approximately 1 km from the Old Town overlooking the marina and at time of visit fronted by building works. Because we were there over a holiday weekend, noise was not apparent - well not from roadworks but traffic noise very intrusive when using the balcony and some raucous behavior from poolside area on the first night. Room was pleasant, clean and reasonably well appointed with a mini-bar (expensive) and digital safe. Bathroom clean but tired and over bath shower required use of safety rail as bath non-slip surface very worn. Open swimming pool located on first floor above reception area and next to restaurant. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy drinks or a meal. Friendly staff in both poolside bar and restaurant area. Breakfast serving both hot and cold buffet style was very good. Early morning check-out fast with pre-booked taxi waiting. Overall, hotel was pleasant with friendly helpful staff. Location a little run down but not too much of a walk to find restaurants and tapas bars.
Meliá Palma Marina

This was a quick trip but the hotel was very nice inside. The room was great for and us and very comfortable with great views over the harbour. There was construction works happening on the outside (front) but that didn’t really matter to us as we were only there for the weekend. The pool was a nice temperature on a hot day and although we couldn’t get a sunbed (arrived at the pool around lunch time) we had a lovely breakfast and the ice cold beer definitely helped us to relax. The nightlife around the hotel can be a little loud due to the number of sports/Irish bars near by and it made the walk home from the city interesting. However the atmosphere was good and we didn’t mind at all. If you had kids then it could be a little intimidating I would think. We also checked in very late (after midnight) which wasn’t a problem at all and we got our room straight away Overall we’d definitely consider staying here again.
