Truly one of the best staycations we’ve ever had! Had a two-night stay for my son’s 6th birthday. Friendly and very attentive staff. Check-in experience was smooth and easy, and the first few employees we spoke to greeted our son a happy birthday. We booked a 2-queen bedroom, which was located on the first floor with a pool view. Walked in to the biggest surprise for my son, who received a sweet treat, birthday card, and decor in our room! His reaction was absolutely priceless. He had shared that the Westin Palo Alto was by far his favorite hotel after that. The beds were like clouds. Room and bathroom was clean. The birthday celebrant requested room service for dinner, so we ordered dinner twice through the online Bonvoy app. The employee who delivered our food on both nights was very friendly. He asked us if we were enjoying our stay, if we needed anything, and if our son enjoyed his birthday surprise! It’s like the whole staff knew about it, which made it quite special. Hotel food was delicious and portions were generous! They also offer a nightly turn down service with bedtime treats located in the lobby. Location is great as it’s walking distance from Town & Country Village, filled with shops and restaurants. I have nothing negative to say about this property. A huge shout out to Leslie and the amazing staff at Westin Palo Alto. Truly a great team. Per their hand-written message on our son’s birthday card, their goal was to make our special trip as memorable as possible. They did just that and more. Fantastic property. We’ll be back!

Nice area and staff was friendly. Would stay here again once we get to come back down to the Bay Area.

Due to the fact that we are building a house it’s my fifth trips to PA and this time with all my family members. The rooms are impeccably clean and staff are very resourceful and attentive! It is conveniently located at the heart of Palo Alto where restaurants and shops are just round the corner. I would definitely recommend to friends and come back again for holiday!

though it's a 2-star motel, still had a decent stay there. it's got everything you'd need, just wish the water pressure could be a bit higher with the shower head

Stayed here after landing at SF airport. I knew by the price I paid and the photos online what I would get. Yes it’s old but very clean. Breakfast was fine. More than enough to eat. Stayed here again on the night before going home. It’s 20 mins away from the airport. Close to Stanford University and Silicon Valley sites. I enjoyed my time here. Staff were super friendly. If you want the Ritz then be willing to pay 6 times the cost of a room here. For one night it was perfect Couldn’t here traffic noise when in room.

It was nice and quiet specially for a long weekend time. The room was OK. Comfortable beds and pillows. The floor needs to be cleaned better and there some ants walking around more visible in the bathroom. I think needs some spray before the summer officially starts. The pool was not ready no towels provided until Sunday. The jacuzzi was hot but only 4 jets out of 12 were working. I cleaned the leaves and tree brushes and... inside the pool and spa before using it myself ....

Cozy, cute little hotel. I am glad I stayed here it was perfect and met my needs. The staff were nice and breakfast was great. Thanks for making me feel safe and comfortable.

Really nice clean hotel. Location is great - close to Stanford, shopping, restaurants etc. We had a room with a King bed. The room was insanely large and spotlessly clean. One of the best hotel ”free” breakfasts I have seen. The menu rotates daily and has good variety. They even served fried eggs one morning (not just those weird omelet things that most hotels serve). There was fresh berries and melon, whipped cream for the waffles, definitely an upgrade from most hotel breakfasts. There is a small room on the first floor with a pool table and tv where you can chill. We didn't notice until our last night there, but wouldn't have had time to use it anyways. Lots of parking. If you come back late at night the small outdoor lot is usually full, but they have a garage underneath with plenty of stalls. Garage feels pretty safe - requires key card access and is gated.
