Great food, wonderful beach front bungalows and family owned. Can’t emphasize the quality of the food enough. So friendly and they have a masseuse. Very reasonable. I have stayed there four times and have been delighted. Many home made from scratch items.

Our family enjoyed the stay at Capricorn very much! Bungalows are simple, rustic style, VERY clean. Food - simply awesome! But the best thing in Capricorn is its team - personnel really tries to make you feel at home, to help, to ensure you enjoy your stay. Our warmest thanks to the owner Ashok and manager Happiness, they are fantastic! Capricorn is not a very touristy place - it's in a middle of wilder oceanic coast, so take this into consideration. There will be no shops, cafes (except for Capricorn's great restaurant), etc. But it is the great place to escape! Thank you, Ashok and the team!

Capricorn is away from the fray, nestled by the Indian Ocean not far from Pangani. I spent 5 days in one of their homely cottages, beachcombing, eating great food . The owners were extremely welcoming and they manage to have a great balance of being inclusive and leaving you to enjoy the wonderful setting. A good breakfast is served on your own patio overlooking the beach. If you're looking for a place to chill after Safari or just to get away from it all Capricorn is the place. It's not 5* but who cares when you have great hosts, charming staff and excellent food. Hearing the gentle waves from my bed at night meant I slept like a baby.

If you are looking for a really quiet and a bit wild place, this is will meet the expectations. Bungalow is very clean with a patio where you can enjoy your meals privately, direct access to the beach. A nice garden with palm and baobab trees, monkeys as visitors from time to time. Delicious cuisine with meals with a “home made”taste. I recommend to try Nalini’s curries. Everything is very homely and private. You can chose either isolation or interaction with other people, both are possible. Beach is not crowded and you can walk along, visit the mangrove forest. Overall it is an interesting combination of wilderness and civilization assets. It is very easy to access and you can easily reconnect with the world if need should be. Congratulations to the owners and personnel for their “business philosophy”. Capricorn is on my list of places to revisit in Tanzania.
