Hotel berhampiran Bougainville Park, Papeete

On our way to Moorea, we stopped over at the Hilton Tahiti for a couple of days. But those couple of days ended up being a lovely mini-vacation in itself. This property is exquisite because of its location and because it is very well managed. Usually we prefer an upper floor location, but upon checking-in, the very friendly front desk agent, Here, responded to our request for a ”quiet” room with a lovely ground-floor location with a large patio overlooking the flowering gardens and the ocean. Exquisite! The room was very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. (Veryx3!) It was also well designed and thoughtful in its detailing. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant and as Diamond members, we had a reserved window table each morning overlooking the water and the colorful inhabitants. What a thoughtful and simple touch that goes a long way in recognizing Hilton loyalty, and we noticed more of those simple yet graceful touches demonstrated by the staff during our stay. It seems that this property, like most hotels on the island of Tahiti, is used as a launching pad for guests to travel to the other islands and also as a stop on their way home while waiting for a red-eye flight out of PPT. Because of that, there are always a number of people and groups coming and going at all times. And this hotel handles it beautifully. While some properties might show their strain under such pressure, the Hilton actually shines brighter by being able to treat each guest with the wonderful hospitality and friendliness that graces all of French Polynesia. Staying here for a second time in the same trip. The motel is right in front of the airport. The room is very clean and tidy. Basic amenities provided. Great value for money. Highly recommend it to people who are looking for a hotel with convenient access to the airport.

酒店真的挺舊了，大概是90年代的了吧；尤其是洗手間，馬桶一按就壞。 酒店地方不大，能玩的也不多。去的時候因為颳風，岸邊也沒什麼項目。定了個環島遊，結果好多地方因為大風都關了，奇怪的是，户外的關了可以理解，博物館這種的為什麼也關 酒店早餐和晚飯都很一般般 如果要入住主島，從性價比上來説還不如希爾頓

This was our first stop on what turned out to be a spectacular vacation in one of the most beautiful countries on earth. Te Moana is a super, more intimate resort. From the time we arrived, the staff were always smiling and ready to help in any way. It seems that genuine friendliness and helpfulness are part of the DNA of this country. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed and our suite with a view of the sea was splendid. The restaurant is top-notch with delicious food. The star attraction of the hotel is the rimflow pool with an excellent pool bar with a broad range of well-made cocktails and outstanding sunsets over the neighbouring island of Moorea. We will definitely be back.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à la Pension Te Miti à Tahiti. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement Fred et son épouse, qui s'est montré disponible et très serviable tout au long de notre séjour. La pension est idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied d'une belle plage de sable blanc, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des eaux cristallines de Tahiti. De plus, elle est à proximité de plusieurs commodités locales, ce qui est très pratique pour explorer les environs sans avoir à se déplacer trop loin. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables et propres. Elles offrent tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour agréable. La décoration est authentique et reflète bien l'atmosphère polynésienne. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et comprend des fruits frais locaux, du pain, et des confitures . Fred et son épouse sont toujours prêt à donner des conseils sur les meilleures excursions à faire et les endroits à visiter. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les recommandations pour des activités locales et des restaurants. La Pension Te Miti offre une ambiance conviviale et détendue. C'est un lieu parfait pour se détendre et se déconnecter. Les espaces communs sont agréables et bien entretenus, avec des jardins tropicaux qui ajoutent une touche de verdure et de tranquillité. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Pour un prix très raisonnable, vous bénéficiez d'un service de qualité et d'un cadre paradisiaque. C'est une excellente option pour ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience authentique sans se ruiner. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement la Pension Te Miti à tous ceux qui cherchent un hébergement abordable, confortable et convivial à Tahiti. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !

Loved everything about our stay... Wonderful friendly service, great location. Our over the water bunngalo was heavenly surrounded by chrystal clear water, it was like living in an aquarium. The activities desk, arranged thee fantastic experiences for us. Could not be happier! Oh and did I mention the massage...it was dreamy, by far one of the best I've ever had! My husband and I had massages by twin sisters who were fantastic, if you get lucky enough to have either on, you will not be disappointed!

This is a review reflects a 5 night stay (end of May thru early June 2023). Allow me to start this review by indicating that this is the SECOND time that we stayed at this property (first being in 1997) and it was our THIRD time visiting Moorea (previous time being in March 2020…yeah I know). After receiving notification from Costco Travel of a special deal that included airfare, all transfers, breakfast AND (3 course) dinner at the Hilton, free minbar use and free wifi. YES, this (and our previous stay here) was in an overwater bungalow. Allow me to separate this review into discrete sections in an attempt to make it easier to read. COSTCO TRAVEL: Excellent service and (overall) easy to work with. While their website provided almost everything you would need with the exception that there was no direct integration with Air Tahiti Nui so I was required to go to the airline’s web site and re-enter all of the necessary travel information. One issue that I had pertained to me repeatedly asking Costco Travel to confirm the details for the return ferry from Moorea to Tahiti and the time of the pick-up from the hotel on the final day of our vacation. Eve though Costco had this request more than a month before we were ticketed, after final documentation was created I noticed that this still was incorrect (seems most travel agencies will put you on a late afternoon ferry as your flight will not leave Tahiti until just before midnight). I once again asked Costco to make the changes and eventually was told by a rather curt agent, “Costco made the request but it’s up to the agent on the other side to fulfill it.” REALLY? COME ON! Costco is responsible for all ticketing and in my opinion, Costco dropped the ball on this. A simple call by one of the hotel concierge staff fixed the issue. Costco could have done the same thing. Shame on you Costco! AIR / LAND TRANSFERS: As with the previous two trips, this visit had a local tour company collect arriving passengers and then drive them to the ferry dock. Excellent service all the way around! (NOTE: Arrangements were made with two different tour companies…one on Tahiti and another on Moorea.) HOTEL STAY (Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort): Where to begin? My wife and I love the Hilton! Truly! It’s smaller than some Moorea resorts and it’s certainly farther away from places like the airport / ferry dock / golf course…that’s fine! I’ll start this portion going through the typical and general parts of our stay. CHECK-IN: Of course we (as do most guests) arrive well before the typical check-in time of 2PM. Rooms (especially overwater bungalows) should NOT be expected to be ready as they almost always are occupied 100% of the time. While I appreciate the fact that the staff working the front desk are trying to help multiple people at the same time, I do not understand why this same staff member made a rather flashy show of ushering my wife and I, along with two other couples, out of the main lobby
