Service was ok in this Hotel Food was ok Amenities ...had a pool ..indoor one closed indefinately Cleaning.. very poor dusty sandy balcony Had a large gap in patio doors that maintenance hit with a hammer to fix! Bathroom not cleaned properly ..only left one set of shower gel and shampoo..only 1 bottle of water left as complementary..mini bar empty..air con unit crashed to floor at 4am ..rang reception they said we will send someone to pick it up! Could have killed one of us ..all we got was a late check out ! Should have been a free weeks holiday at the least ..will not be returning ! This hotel is 3 star at best !

Comfortable clean hotel good amenities and excellent staff. Reception arrangement could improve. Reservations and reception two distinct areas. I had two queries about reservations which I was told could not be answered outside business hours.

Service au top, ils sont aux ptits soins! Les chambres ne sont en revanche pas toutes fraîches si il fallait ajouter un point négatif.

Около часа не заселяли, потом требовали залог 300 евро. Не извинились, не предложили присесть или что-то выпить. Час стоял на ресепшне как мальчик пока они разбирались. В итоге сильно опоздал на ужин. Крайне непрофессиональная работа ресепшн. Расположение в очень красивом месте побережья.

Ομορφα, ανακαινισμενα και καθαρά δωμάτια. Το πρωινό πολύ πλούσιο και καλό ποιοτικά... Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογη... Χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση εξωτερικά του ξενοδοχείου όπως κτίριο, έπιπλα κήπου καο πισίνας... Εσωτερικά χρειάζονται οι υπόλοιποι χώροι εκτός δωματίων και ρεσεψιόν φροντίδα και περιποίηση... Σς γενικές γραμμές είναι καλό ξενοδοχείο αλλά όχι σίγουρα ξενοδοχείο 5 stars..

No idea who, why and how this hotel is rated 5 stars! I would say it’s 3-4 stars. Here are the reasons: The hotel has an old fashioned vibe and decor (the rooms are a bit better than the public spaces). The air conditioning in the open spaces is weak, which makes it difficult to stay there. I have to say that the rooms are big and clean, but the general impression is that everything is simple and cheap, starting from the plain design and ending with the quality of the toilet paper. Moreover, there is no isolation of noise and you can hear everything going on in the other rooms and the corridors. The pool is quite small to accommodate all the people, and the towels are on a different floor, which is an annoying absurd! But the worst thing for me was the staff. Most of the workers seemed tired, nervous and didn’t bother to smile or help. At the pool, for example, nobody bothered to assist with opening the sun-umbrellas. The only two bright spots were the food, which was quite varied and tasty (we had the half board deal) and the beautiful public beach, which is in front of the hotel. Note that the sun beds and umbrellas are not for free at this beach. On the whole, I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and to our surprise we found out that we got a room that did not match our dimensions. The order was made from Ista, who sold a superior room for a couple with three children. It turns out that the room contains only a couple and a child and at most a baby. When we arrived at the reception, Milena, the service manager, greeted us and made sure we were satisfied right away and did everything for us to make us satisfied and even upgraded us to a family room at no cost! In addition, on the day of departure, she made sure we had a late departure without extra so that the children would have a place to sleep and shower before the flight. This is our opportunity to thank dear Milena, thanks to whom our vacation became much better and more enjoyable!

I am not one for usually complaining and writing bad reviews and I was hoping I wouldn’t need to but unfortunately I am. I would also just like to note that I had previously seen reviews saying about experiencing similar issues and just thought that they have probably just had an unlucky experience but really how many reviews do you need discussing the same issues before something gets implemented to improve and resolve these issues. We arrived after 11 pm at the Venus beach hotel where we were met by very unwelcoming staff. We were also not offered any food after our long late flight. No late night buffet options and no sandwiches or fruit left in the room. I would also like to note that room service was also unavailable as it stops at 10 pm. Restaurants in the area at that time were starting to quieten down and stop service so we had to walk to McDonald’s to get something to eat. The food itself at the hotel is okay not exactly 5 star standards we were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was alright lots of options but the majority of the “fresh fruit” is tinned. The hotel rooms are very thin walled and you can hear a lot of noise from the corridor and other rooms. The hotel rooms are nice enough and clean but the hotel itself is very tired and could do with a good paint and revamp especially the floors below reception. The staff within the hotel lack training in customer service and service in general. We were often made to feel like an inconvenience. There are maybe the odd members of staff that actually know how to deliver service but the majority need training and also lack energy as you will soon find out from the service at the pool bar where staff would rather talk and finish their conversation with fellow staff members before serving. Also pool side service drinks take for ages to come after ordering as the server saunters about the pool side very lethargically. When also asking a manager about the snack bar to have lunch we were seated with no menus and not a single server had came over, we sat about 20 mins before we managed to flag a server down as they were all standing and chatting at the buffet restaurant baring in mind there was only a table of 2 eating so did not require all 6 servers. Another couple also came to the snack bar and had the same issue as well which is think is quite ridiculous that even when seated the servers still left to go back and chat to their fellow servers at the buffet restaurant. I would definitely recommend bring your own pool towels as the hotel pool towels desperately need binned. What looks like what once use to be dark grey or beige towels are more lavender grey and pale cream with random areas with stains of what looks like bleach which has dyed them orangey in areas. If you also like to make sure your clothes are ironed and freshly pressed bring your own iron other wise you will have to use the tatty ironing room off of the luggage room which is 1 well used ironing board with a iron th

Always 5* out of 5* Another fantastic time had at the Venus Beach Hotel, for 14 years our home in the sun. The perfect location on the beach, but what makes it special is the people who work tirelessly to ensure your stay is perfect. From Katerina and Ilona in reservations and reception, Guest Relations Manager Milena who ensures you want for nothing during your stay. Mikalis, Maria and Carlotta from the restaurant, Nikos, Helen, Anna Maria and Barbara from the bar. Lastly Maria from the kids club, more like a family member in the sun . Thank you all for an amazing holiday once again. We are booking to return in September to see you all again.

Lovely clean hotel. Very pleasant location and very pleasant staff mostly. Food was excellent I thought and the drinks were more than adequate on the all inclusive range. Actual area well served with an Aldi opposite and not that far from the harbour.

My boyfriend and I came here on June 11-22nd. The hotel is really nice and the location is great but we did have some issues. On our first night we left our room at around 8/8:30 and arrived back at 11pm to our door fully, wide open and all the lights on. The staff were great about this and did keep us updated while they investigated but we never did get an actual answer, we were just told no one used a key card so it wasn’t recorded. Luckily nothing was taken as we have all our valuables with us. Wasn’t an amazing start but we looked past it. After a few days we noticed black maggots all around our toilet, wriggling around. We went straight to reception and they sent house cleaning. They had been there a few days before we actually noticed what they were, so house cleaning never really actually cleaned the rooms just replaced towels/sheets/emptied bins. They ignored the maggots and left them there. They were cleaned once we mentioned it to reception but 2 days later they were there again, a lot more. We had to ask not once, but five times for this to be sorted and still nothing was done. Also when we complained about this the third time, the man on reception said there was no record of us ever complaining. I had shown them pictures and videos of them moving around too so they were fully aware. This would definitely make me reconsider staying here again, but I will say the room itself and hotel/pool area was very clean and the bar staff were great. Definitely an avoidable experience as I wasn’t even going to leave any of the negatives in the review had it just been taken care of the first time we asked.
