2 Sterne : entsprechend klein sind die Zimmer, dafür aber sehr sauber.Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gibt keinen Aufzug und keine Klimaanlage. Entsprechend sehr heiss war es jetzt im August bei 35 Grad in Paris.Nach vorne gibt es große Fenster aber keinen Aussenrollo und die Zimmer nach innen haben nur ein Fenster zu einem 1m grossen Schacht .Wir hätten problemlos die Zimmer wechseln können, sind aber bei dem Zimmer innen geblieben.Die Lage finden wir gut, da Metro und Bus in 10 min. Entfernung und abends findet man in 10 min Entfernung sehr viele gute Restaurants und schöne Cafés und Bars.

The hotel has an amazing location. There is a metro stop right outside of the hotel and there are numerous restaurants/cafes right outside. We absolutely loved our stay here. This is an older hotel and has a lot of unique characteristics (small elevator, varying room configurations, etc). We found these things charming as were evidence of the age/history of the building. This is a two star hotel (meaning no restaurant, gym, etc.), but it is five stars when it comes to charm and location. The bathrooms were modern and well functioning. There was a heat wave when we were the and the air conditioning worked great. We had friends staying in another room and they booked a larger room. I would definitely spend the extra money for the larger room. The front desk staff were all so friendly and helpful. A special acknowledgment of Nicolas (The Receptionist) who is an artist.

My flight got delayed, so I arrived late to the hostel around 2 AM on the night of March the 10th ”My reservation was from the 9th, so no problem” I seemed to wake up the receptionist who suddenly got busy on phone but had done the check in procedures, I reconfirmed it's a bottom bunk bed ”due to a medical condition, I can't climb” he said Yes Yes.. My room is on the 5th floor, I was fine and asked if there's a lift, he said Yes Yes ”basically was busy on phone and didn't even listen to what I was saying” I went up ”no lift btw but it was okay” to find the bed assigned is on top, and there was only one person in the room! I went down again asking if I can take the vacant bottom bed, then he got mad!! No you can't, wait for my colleague in the morning to see if he can move you. I asked if I can stay at the reception till then, but no it's closed... So I will just stay here in front of the Reception desk I replied. I affirmed I had my request delivered for a bottom bed, there was only one person in the room, so why can't I just get any?! He got very mad; started to call me crazy, and then shifted to the ”I don't speak English” and saying Me NO ME NO ME NO... He then approached very very close waiving threatening with his finger ”saying we are not discriminating you”!!! What? Who said discrimination?!! Then, I started to film his attitude with my cell phone right away as it was that close it gets physical.. He panicked when I started to film and called the police on me and asked me to go spend the night in the kitchen!!! Unluckily for him, I can understand French pretty well but I only speak English... He asked the police to come because I was making a fuss and a scandal. The police arrived like 30 mins later, while me shaking and waiting in front of the desk as he vanished when I started to film. Very Unluckily for him, the police was very supportive to me and they spoke English... When I told them the whole story; they asked him to return my money as long as they didn't adhere to my request for bottom bed, it's a medical condition but he was so rude to them as well saying, It's not his problem! He refused to refund saying tomorrow in the afternoon I come back to his colleagues be refunded. The police stayed with me till I booked another hotel for the night and THEY SAID IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PERSON but they can't file a case against him since it didn't get physical. While booking an alternative accommodation at 3 AM outside in the street, he called me in to give my money back!! This is a story I wanted to share, a story of lying, aggressive, and rude receptionist. Ah, and to the police; he stated that there's someone taking the bottom bed... While the key of the bottom bed was actually left on the check out tray!!! If you want ur days ruined and both yours physical and psychological health abused and tortured go to this place and deal with this man in particular. I dare their management

GWに二泊しました。モンパルナス駅もダンフェール・ロシュロー駅も歩いて13分くらいです。 モンパルナス駅発着の空港バスがなくなったので、ダンフェール・ロシュロー駅からRERで乗り換えなく空港に行くことができるのはとても便利です。 地下鉄はゲテ駅が8分くらいのところにあります。 大きな通りにあるホテルなので周りは明るく夜に歩いても怖さはありません。しかも夜は静かです。 モンパルナス駅近くのモノプリの食料品売り場が23:40まで開いているので便利です。 フロントの男性スタッフさんのお一人が日本語が上手でびっくりしました。おまけにとても親切でした。 朝食はバゲットとプチサイズのクロワッサンにパンオショコラにパンオレザンをバスケットに入れて出してくれます。バゲット美味しかったです。 ドリンクはコーヒーか紅茶かショコラを選びポットで出してもらえます。オレンジジュースもでてきます。 それからフィナンシェ、ヨーグルトとジャムとチーズが2,3種類棚においてあります。 朝食があんまりだったら外に食べに行こうかと思ったけれど十分でした。 円安もあって4年ぶりのパリのホテルはとても高く、どこに泊まるか悩んだけれど、ここを選んで正解でした。クラッシックなエレベーターはあるし、部屋は十分な広さです。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけれど値段から考えるととても良いホテルでした。

An excellent hotel for my weekend in Paris. Situated in a bustling area with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés and with all modes of transport on the doorstep for when you want to explore the city. The room was modern, clean and quiet with a super-comfortable bed. Toilet and shower room were squeaky clean and fully equipped with everything you'd need. Continental breakfast at €10 was fresh, plentiful and delicious, as good as any of the nearby patisseries. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome as a solo female traveller. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel as an ideal base to stay when visiting and exploring Paris. It's far better than the 2 Stars it's rated at. (Coffee making facilities in the room would have made my stay 5 🌟)

Clean, convenient, great choice for a quick visit to Paris. Convenirntly locayed on the place Denfert Rochereau, rooms are comfortable and quiet. Special mention for the Eiffel Tower view from the balcony, and good breakfast. The big plus, convenient transportation options for visiting the city and getting to and from the airport.

Comment est-ce possible d'avoir une telle amplitude de tarifs ? Pour la même chambre en premium, en 24 heures, on passe de 89 euros à 299 euros. Une chambre minuscule commandée avec 2 lits pour 2 adultes, à l'arrivée un lit en 130 collé à un mur. Des toilettes dans le passage pour accéder à la douche, assis sur les toilettes, vos genoux touchent le mur, pour info, je mesure 1m60 ! Toutefois, hôtel très bien placé et un excellent accueil. À ce prix là, le petit-déjeuner n'est même pas compris dans la prestation, prévoir 13 euros de plus. Il y a beaucoup mieux chez la concurrence, Ibis par exemple, à 2 pas.

Un personnel très agréable et compréhensif, une chambre propre et agréable pour 3 personnes. Métro à quelques mètres de l’hôtel ainsi que de nombreux commerces autour donc super emplacement. Possibilité de déposer ses bagages à l’accueil le matin même, et de les récupérer juste avant le départ tout en ayant quitté la chambre donc très agréable pour nous éviter d’emmener nos valises dans Paris. Je recommande cet hôtel, j’y reviendrai à coup sûr si je retourne sur Paris.

This is a decent hotel with relatively small rooms. For a visit to a city like Paris, where one spends most of the day outside, it is a good hotel as it is basically used to just sleep. The breakfast is on the small scale but also OK. The location is also good as it is located within 6 minutes walking distance to a metro and tram line that both take you into the city. The distance by metro from the center of Paris is about 25 - 35 minutes which is decent for a city like Paris. I would recommend it for the budget traveler, who would rather spend the money in the city rather than a bedroom.
