Hotel berhampiran Fondation Taylor, Paris

評判通りの素敵なホテルでした。地下鉄改札を出て階段を登って右に10m位？本当に駅近でしかもわかりやすいので、遅い時間の到着でしたが安心でした。ホテル内もテンションの上がる内装。暖房も適温、シャワーの温度量も不自由なく冬のパリにバスタブはありがたかったです。お安いプランでしたが、部屋のミニバー無料、ラウンジでコーヒーやお菓子無料で、遅い時間に到着しても飲み物があるのは嬉しい。ラウンジは広くカフェのようでした。系列のホテルであれば滞在中にどのホテルでもラウンジが使えるとのことでした。朝食もいただきましたが、ハムやチーズの他にホットミール(スクランブルエッグ、ベーコン)もあり、料金以上の朝食と思いました。

ottima posizione, tranquillo, pulito con personale cordiale. A noi hanno dato una tripla che in realtà era una doppia adattata, cosa questa che limitava i movimenti all'interno della stanza, e soprattutto non c'era nessun appoggio nemmeno per un solo trolley. L'ultima sera per un problema dell'albergo hanno cambiato stanza dandoci una vera tripla. L'unica pecca, sebbene informati all'arrivo in hotel, non fanno deposito bagagli .

Not what we expected unfortunately. We actually selected this hotel ourselves after researching several. The room was small but we expected that. What we did not expect was to 'lose' part of the room where the roof line cut across the bedroom (if you can imagine getting out of bed and having to duck because the ceiling is only 5 feet high in some parts). We were on the top floor. The room was noisey, but that was in part due to rude neighbours who we complained about (at 2am). The problem was when we went down in the morning to find out what the hotel planned to do about it the manager knew nothing about our complaint as the night manager had not recorded it in the register and obviously had not done anything. But it was not just the noisey neighbours. If you happen to be awake in the middle of the night and the person in the next room goes to the toilet - well you can work the rest out for yourself. I can only imagine that this is due to very thin walls / insulation etc but it is very off-putting. The breakfast room is inadequate - full stop. There is no point trying to fit 30 people into a room which is designed for 15 or 20. The lady at the front desk (I think her name is Natalie and I think she has been mentioned in other reviews) is very good and most helpful - but she can not make up for the other inadequacies. I am not sure what else to say - just disappointed. We stayed at the Best Western Belloy St Germain hotel a couple of weeks later (same star rating) and it was much better.

Very close to metro station and the receptionist is helpful. Luggage storage is provided but not seemed very safe. We do not have hot water in one day of our stay, the receptionist explained clearly and helped us.

Cute place to be and easy to get to!

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. The hotel is not in the tourist spot areas but staying here is comfortable for a solo travellers. The room is very basic but its clean. If u look for halal food, its just a walking distance. There is a Monoprix store next to the hotel for apparel and groceries needs. The bed is comfy even it is simple. The staff is very helpful. What summarise it as it was above my expectations for a budget hotel.
