La Maison Gobert Paris Hotel Particulier

Such a lovely stay in Paris! The hotel is managed with attention to details and care, and the staff is very helpful and always polite. The location is convenient and we received recommendations of nearby restaurants. Lastly, breakfast was delicious and the whole experience was pleasant!

I am considering a move from NYC to Paris. The 11th arr. is a residential neighborhood that has some of the trendiest restaurants in the city. It's also a 5-minute walk to Pere Lachaise, my favorite place in Paris. For this reason, I opted to stay in the 11th. I was communicated with la Maison leading up to my trip - because I was arriving in the early morning, I booked the night prior so I could go directly to my room and sleep. I don't understand why travelers thought this place was hard to find or unmarked. Pretend it's a city and use some common sense. The number was clearly marked, I looked up the exterior on-line so I knew what color the door would be, and it's just like buzzing into a building. It felt like I was in my own apartment in Paris, coming and going as I please with no interference and most importantly, NO children. It was very quiet, and the optional breakfast (for a fee) was very good. Somedays I opted for housekeeping, somedays I did not. It could take a while to go to the right bank because of traffic, but there is a metro stop around the corner. It's a good option if you want to stay close to the Marais without all of the tourists.

We'd highly recommend visiting La Maison Gobert in the Bastille area of Paris. Situated just round the corner from a bustling student area with great bars and cafes, La Maison Gobert is a high-end bed and breakfast offering high quality accommodation in 5 well appointed rooms. Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

I was expecting a hotel but this is a B&B. No clear sign on the door and not clear how to ring the bell. The rooms were very nice but with every B&B you have the feeling you sleep at someones house. The location of the hotel is not ideal. The area is a bit quiet although it is really in Paris centre. The guy running it was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful suit great staff and the best location

In een rustige wijk (11e Arr) met metro (lijn 9) station Charonne letterlijk om de hoek is Maison Gobert gevestigd. Kleinschalig, liefelijk ingericht, comfortabel en rustig zijn de kernbegrippen. De voor Parijse begrippen is de kamer groot en heeft een ruime douche. Beveiligd parkeren bij het hotel is mogelijk voor een extra € 35/dag (!!!) wat relatief prijzig is. Een ander minpunt is de beperkte opbergrumte. Een kleine legkast en slechts 3 hangers is aan de karige kant voor 2 personen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Rue Gobert is gelegen aan Rue Volatire, dat ook weer veel leuke patisseries en restaurantjes kent. Maison Gobert raden wij zeker aan.

Hôtel discret et propre. Par contre nous n’avons toujours pas reçu notre caution en retour. N’ayant pas de retour de l’hôtel. J’ai aussi oublié mon bas de pijama et il a été jeter sans avoir pris contacte avec la personne concernées. C’est bien dommage mais je ne recommande pas.

Points positifs : Très joli hôtel particulier dans le 11ème, Propose un parking pour 35 euros à rendre pour 11h le lendemain. Petite suite porte n°3 au 1er étage très sympathique, très propre et bien agencée avec plateau de convivialité dans le petit salon qui donne sur la rue + 2 petites de bouteilles d'eau offertes + mini bar à 4 euros la boisson, belle salle de bain, coffre fort dans la chambre et, petit plus, 2 paires chaussons dans le placard ;) La chambre est jolie et donne sur une cour intérieure, calme avec TV au mur. Nous avons eu bien chaud en ce mois de janvier. Le petit déjeuner pour 2 était composé d'1 boisson chaude (attention pas de chocolat chaud), jus d'orange, d'1 œuf, de 2 T de cake marbré, d'1 salade de fruit chacun, de viennoiseries (1 croissant et 1 pain au chocolat à partager), de charcuterie/fromage (1 morceau de fromage, 1 T de rosette, 1T de jambon cru et 1T de jambon blanc à partager en 2 portions) et de 2 demi baguettes + confiture/pâte à tartiner Points négatifs : Nous n'avons pas aimé le matelas pourtant très épais car nous avons roulés vers le centre du lit toute la nuit, au point que l'un de nous 2 dorme la tête au pieds pour être enfin tranquille... Nous avons dû rendre le parking en même temps que la chambre à 11h le lendemain alors qu'il était précisé sur certains sites que ce dernier était loué 35 euros pour 24h (nous voulions simplement le rendre pour 12h à la place de 11h mais cela n'a pas été accepté, un client attendant sa place le lendemain matin à 11h...)
