Terrible place. We stayed as a family in two rooms and from the moment we got there at check in, waiting in the cold because the lobby was full of other people and is TINY, to the moment we left and got a shrug from the receptionist when asked about our experience and we told her of all the issues. “Reception” is just a tiny stand in a tiny foyer. They stored our luggage all day to the side of it, in full view and where someone had left their shopping on top. The rooms were absolute ovens but, I’m guessing to control costs, they control the aircon centrally so you can’t use it and the windows barely open. We asked twice for help with this to no avail. The windows HAVING to be open meant sleepless nights from constant noise as it’s on a v busy street. Our bath didn’t work so we could bath our young son, another thing we asked for help with and they faked confusion before admitting it was a known issue. Lastly, my husband and son went out one afternoon and came back to the door to the hotel being locked for 15 mins while the receptionist was apparently on the toilet! Why she locked the door in the middle of the day is beyond me. There is ZERO four star feeling to this place. From the service to the look and feel. Paris does have a low bar, but it’s an expensive place to stay for nothing at all redeeming. We got stuck with the Eurostar cancellations and promptly moved to another hotel down the road that was far far better and actually worth the money. AVOID!!!
