Avalon Cosy Hotel Paris

Lovely hotel. I had a very comfortable stay. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also lovely. Only thing I would say… I’m useless with understanding other people’s coffee machines. If you could add some instructions that would be excellent! Great stay over all. Thank you

Seriously that’s like THE BEST PART OF MY ENTIRE TRIP!!! THE LOVELIEST PEOPLE IVE EVER MET!!! Very welcoming and caring staff!! Very positive nice and thoughtful people. Amazing clean beautiful rooms, great location. It’s like 100000 out of 10. Mindblown!!! Already told all my friends about it and will never stop recommending them. Love it love it LOVE IT

Really comfortable beds, lovely design, rooms are very compact but it’s Paris….Room had everything I needed. Slept like the dead. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was very reasonable. I’d stay here again for Maison Objet as proximity to Gare du Nord is key and the rate was very inexpensive for the quality.

Very friendly hotel staff. Our room didn’t allow enough natural light as it was blocked by a wall opposite. However by the time we came back to the room after our daily excursions it was time to draw the curtains.

Great location, only about a 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord which you can get a train to directly from CDG airport (single trip €11,45). There are other metro stations within approx 10-15min walk also, so easy to get to all the main sites of Paris from this hotel. Plenty of places to eat and lots of bakeries as well as an Aldi not too far away. You can buy a single ticket into Paris for €2,10. Just ensure you put the ticket into the ticket machines before getting on to the train. Although travelling with a valid ticket from a station with broken ticket machines my sister and I were stopped by ticket inspectors and fined €35 each for not validating the ticket in the machine. They aren’t joking when they call the hotel “cosy”. Room is very small, the bathroom has a window into the room so you can see the person in the shower/toilet. Weird design but still functional. The hotel was clean and looked modern. Just a couple of small things that could’ve been maintained better for example the plastic casing on the part of the toilet you press down to flush came off. And the handle of the bathroom door plastic was cracked so was a bit sharp. Not all staff were overly friendly/helpful but they were all polite. Overall a good stay. Would recommend for a weekend stay in Paris.

Everything was perfect, little rooms but excellent service, very near from a station, you can go walking to montmatre and moulin rouge

A little farther away from all the tourist attractions but metro is only a few minutes away. All the workers were very friendly and attentive. Room was very small but I was traveling alone, so it wasn’t an issue for me. If you arrive early they do charge to store your luggage.

This is a good option is you want to be close to gare du nord. It is clean and my room was quiet. I had asked for a quiet room, but when I checked in they initially gave me a very small room adjoining the lift. I immediately asked to be moved, which they did without problem. They gave me a bigger room on the side facing the road. Double glazed so no problem. The new room would be small for two people although it had a very comfortable double bed. The facilities were limited. Reasonable breakfast. Staff friendly. As I said, very close to gare du Nord, on a generally quiet street.
