Edgar Suites Louvre - Jour

It was our first visit to Paris and our stay at Edgar at Louvre-Jour was perfect. It’s literally steps away from exit #7 of Les Halles RER / Metro station. Many said the station is large and confusing. However, if you plan ahead and know which exit you want to take, all the signs are well placed and marked. As soon as we got off the train from CDG, we followed the signs through the mall and at no time we were lost. We had a the smallest room in the building since it was just the 2 of us. It’s a studio on the 2nd floor. It is well equipped with a bathroom and kitchenette. Closet space is adequate for 2 occupants. Our windows face an internal courtyard so it was quiet throughout our 10-day stay. The studio was clean with a nice modern decor. Location is central to everywhere we went. Other than the day trip to Versailles when we took RER and Metro, we walked everywhere during the rest of our stay from within 1er through 18e and all our destinations were within an hour on foot. There are so many awesome restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood … Au Pied du Couchon and Comptoir de la Gastronomie to name a few.

Paris can be a tough city to find accommodation that’s well priced, in a good location, and not in a state of disrepair. Edgar Suites is the opposite of all that. Location was superb, size of the 3br apartment was ample for five adults and a baby, apartment was impeccably clean.

What a fun place! The decor was very modern and colorful and the flat was spacious. We were comfortable and felt very safe. Great value for the money. The staff were super responsive and set the standard for how service should be. Location was perfect - close and walkable to the major attractions on our bucket list.
