Hotel berhampiran Monument aux Morts de Port-Vendres, Paris

The location is nice and close to the metro station, the staff are friendly and great services. The best part is that I made friends who had similar interests and wanted to explore Paris like I did. Would highly recommend for solo travelers the area is safe and convenient to anywhere you want to see within Paris🩷

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. 近くにラファイエットやスーパー、飲食店も多く立地は最高だと思います。 チェックイン時に少し待てばバスタブ付きの部屋があるよと良い部屋を選ばせてくれたり、全体的にスタッフの方が親切だった印象です。 フロントにあるお水やお菓子などもフリーで貰えます。 毎日ベッドメイキングとタオル交換もしてくれました。 残念なポイントは、少しシャワーの水圧調整がしづらく、水漏れが気になったのと、 朝方外で若者が騒いだ声が聞こえたりと防音性はあまり高くなかったです。 全体的には環境も良く、スタッフも親切でお勧めできるホテルでした。 素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

The hotel is not in the tourist spot areas but staying here is comfortable for a solo travellers. The room is very basic but its clean. If u look for halal food, its just a walking distance. There is a Monoprix store next to the hotel for apparel and groceries needs. The bed is comfy even it is simple. The staff is very helpful. What summarise it as it was above my expectations for a budget hotel.

Hôtel à l’accueil sympathique (personnel disponible et souriant, café thé à disposition à la réception), chambre et salle de bains propres, taille correcte (petite douche mais avec pommeau filtrant l’eau, miroir grossissant..), parquet, coffre fort, décoration sobre mais soignée. Seuls points négatifs : chambre peu insonorisée et ascenseur en demi palier. La chambre 56 a une petite terrasse équipée où le soleil de mi-octobre nous a permis (à 9h30) de prendre un agréable café avec une belle vue sur la Tour Eiffel, avant de profiter des alentours de ce quartier vivant à pied : rue du commerce, Centre commercial Beaugrenelle, Île aux cygnes, marché de Grenelle du dimanche et de tout Paris, le métro étant à 2 pas... Un parking (interparking Cambronne) 16€ /jour est situé à proximité mais il est conseillé de réserver à l’avance.

Emplacement au calme et proche des spots à visiter de Paris comme le Louvre, Châtelet ou l'Opéra Garnier Galeries Lafayette. Beaucoup de restaurants à côté et des commerces, et on est aussi dans le deuxième quartier asiatique de Paris après celui du 13e. Espace correct pour une personne par chambre, c'est petit. La salle de bain est équipée d'une baignoire, débit et eau chaude très bien. Mais la chambre n'a pas de bouilloire, café, frigo, sauf une petite TV dont la télécommande ne marchait pas. Savon dans la salle de bain seulement. Dans le placard on peut se servir de 2 oreillers de plus. Ma chambre avait une cour intérieure, un peu sale à cause des pigeons, qui font leur nid là. J'ai pas pris de petit déjeuner, mais Ils n'ont pas une salle de manger, c'est juste un petit espace attenant à la réception. Personnel de l'hôtel agréable et jeune, avec une réception de nuit. La clef des chambres n'est pas électronique, il faut laisser sa clef en sortant.

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

The room size isnt as generous as you would expect for a 1 bedroom suite but it did fit family of 4. The AC wasn't really working and the washing machine was faulty. Reported it to the concierge but still not fixed the next day. Luckily there is a self-help laundramat about 300 meters from the hotel. The location is great and central and with easy access to scooters and bikes which I reckon is the best way to get around Paris.

Impressive youth hostel in a great location with 20 mins walk to Notre Dame and 30 mins to the Lourve Museum. Good personal facilities in bucket bed, and a beautiful greenhouse cafe. The only issue was the shower, as you have to press it every 3-4 seconds.
