Hotel berhampiran Rue des Francs Bourgeois, Paris

The location is nice and close to the metro station, the staff are friendly and great services. The best part is that I made friends who had similar interests and wanted to explore Paris like I did. Would highly recommend for solo travelers the area is safe and convenient to anywhere you want to see within Paris🩷

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Ho alloggiato in questo albergo per 2 notti, e mi sono trovata bene: la camera era spaziosa e pulitissima, il letto grande, tv in camera, aria condizionata. Anche la posizione è strategica, vicino a metro e locali. Il personale della reception è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. Consiglio questo albergo per chi non vuole spendere troppo, secondo me ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

The location is amazing! Everything you want from Paris and more. We booked the one bedroom flat and we stayed in the old building - to be honest really needs a new carpet! But the kitchen is great and very spacious. I would recommend if you are after a good base to move around. Staff was really nice when we needed them.

The hotel is not in the tourist spot areas but staying here is comfortable for a solo travellers. The room is very basic but its clean. If u look for halal food, its just a walking distance. There is a Monoprix store next to the hotel for apparel and groceries needs. The bed is comfy even it is simple. The staff is very helpful. What summarise it as it was above my expectations for a budget hotel.

Had a wonderful night at Maison Saintonge! The room was ready earlier so we didn’t even had to leave our bags ! The room was marvellous with beautiful decorations. It was facing the street but was very quiet (which is rare for Paris!) We also had breakfast that was really good with several meat/cheese options and they even had macaroons. Will be back for sure 👍

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. It’s just opposite to the station and was very convenient for us to catch our train early morning. It’s also close to the Metro and getting to all the attractions was a breeze.

The room size isnt as generous as you would expect for a 1 bedroom suite but it did fit family of 4. The AC wasn't really working and the washing machine was faulty. Reported it to the concierge but still not fixed the next day. Luckily there is a self-help laundramat about 300 meters from the hotel. The location is great and central and with easy access to scooters and bikes which I reckon is the best way to get around Paris.

Good hotel. Solid experience. Feels like a 4 star hotel. Kind and accommodating staff. Giving me extra soft tissues as I had a cold during my stay. Nice little french balcony. Good location near metro and lots of restaurants and bars. Close to notre dame, and jardin luxembourg. Walkable pretty neighborhood(Paris 5eme) right by Sorbonne University. Would come back, hopefully without a cold next time. Only drawback, bar is seldom serviced and the selection is limited.

Saya ingin mengatakan bahawa kami sangat berpuas hati dengan perkhidmatan, semuanya sangat cantik, pemandangannya menakjubkan, tetapi kami mempunyai sesuatu untuk dikatakan, kami tidak begitu berpuas hati kerana kami mendapat alahan dari permaidani yang tidak kelihatan sangat bersih (memerlukan lebih banyak perhatian), tetapi pemandangannya sempurna dan perkhidmatannya hebat.
