Hotel berhampiran Saint Vincent de Paul, Paris

This was a nice enough hotel in the heart of Paris, but it was a bit pricey.

It’s near Gare du Nord . At night it’s better to be careful and watch your belongings. The hotel room was so small , or it’s maybe for lovebirds 🥰🥰 Hotel receptionists were very polite and helpful! No room service when I stayed there, probably because of pandemic restrictions. But honestly, Mini manicure 💅 with perfect nails is across the street!!!

This is a budget hotel near the gare du nord with much to recommend it. The staff are very sweet. It’s cheap. It’s adequately clean and comfortable. The rooms at the front of the building have big windows opening onto the street - so some charm. But they could not give us a single towel!

The hotel was in a fairly quiet neighbourhood in-between two Metro Stations. It was well placed being only 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar Station. The hotel lobby was nice and clean. The staff were AMAZING. Very friendly and someone was available 24/7. The bed was comfortable and whilst the bath was small, it had very hot water if required. We were lucky to get the only room with a proper balcony. WIFI was fast and free. The room was quite a bit smaller then shown in official photos. The TV was quite small and the walls were very thin. We struggled to sleep due to noise in other rooms. The lift was a bit junky, but operated fine.

I booked above hotel through Booking.com, where I was going to stay as a tour director the night before going to CDG to meet my group and start a tour to Burgundy, Brittany and Normandy. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled at the last minute due to an unforeseen emergency, and I had no choice but to cancel my reservation at the hotel too. I did so on the morning of the 11th. I tried to cancel it directly with the hotel, but they informed me it had to be done through Booking.com. I next contacted Booking, who told me that it should have been cancelled the day before in order to be free of charge, but that they would do their best for me, and at very least obtain some form of compromise. The following day I received an email from them, indicating that so far there had been no response from the hotel, and therefore suggesting I contact the hotel myself. I called the hotel, but was rudely informed that there was no point cancelling, because the policy was not to allow cancellations from 48 hours prior, and even if I called back the following morning, when the responsible person would be there (that person would not even give me the name), there would be no even meeting me halfway! I then sent an email directly to hotel (also at suggestion of Booking) explaining the situation, but there was never any response to that either. A few hours later I got another email from Booking, telling me that the hotel refused to make any concession whatsoever and still was charging me the full amount!! _168 Euros! I am absolutely shocked at a hotel iso clearly lacking in hospitality, in the ”hospitality” industry. In my 30 year career in the travel/hospitality industry (where I also worked in hotel sales), this is the first time I have ever come across this mentality.... I would certainly not recommend this hotel, even though i have not seen it; if there is such a lack of respect for the guests, how can a stay there be in any way pleasurable?

We had a mistake booking our nights with them on the wrong date which non modifiable but they were kind enough to rebook it for free. They were so kind esp Bruno. We booked the hotel as we thought we would be getting off at Paris Nord which is near to the hotel but again our poor planning we arrived at Paris Orly so the hotel is a bit far to most of the touristic spots but Bruno was helpful to direct where to spend our tight schedule. May I just suggest to replace the pillows as they are already worn out Thank you.

Great location around a lively and bustling trendy area of Paris. Literally a very short walk from Sacre Coure,which is a must see when in Paris.loads of places to eat from Brasseries to a bakery. Spoilt for choice for food and places to drink, although pick wisely as not all Bistros offer great food. The hotel itself were really friendly, rooms clean ,basic but do the job. Breakfast area is very small and cramped,with timed sittings, with breakfast being Continental only. A short walk away from Anvers Metro station with good access to the whole of Paris. would I use this hotel again? Absolutely Yes.

In Paris you tend to get what you pay for so if you book a budget hotel, lower your expectations!! That said, this hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. When I got to my room it was very clean, with a comfy bed and basic looking shower that actually supplied plentiful hot water. The guys at reception were pleasant. They let me drop my bag off prior to check in and let me leave it for a bit after I checked out. For sure there is noise from the street but as a city girl, I was not bothered and it was not excessive. Because the floors are not carpeted (they have new looking lino type floors) the noise from someone upstairs who did not take their shoes off was much more distracting!! The stairs could do with a good scrub to be more aesthetically pleasing but as I wasn't sleeping on them I didn't care. Super close to the Metro at La Chappell and an easy walk to Gare de I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. All in all, much better than I expected and I would stay again

While the location is outstanding the hotel lacks key service like restaurants, room service and concierge . Only one person at the front desk who is always busy doing everything ( check in and out, cashier, housekeeping, information, etc. ) you have to wait for along time to be answered on any questions!!! I have notified the hotel ahead of time that we are on our honeymoon and requested a king size bed but ended up with two beds!!? and there is not any honeymoon arrangements

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.
