Hotel berhampiran Square Alexandre et Rene Parodi, Paris

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Toujours. I booked two rooms with Spa access for 4 nights. The rooms were immaculate and each have a contemporary neutral design. Breakfast was delicious, I indulged in the fresh French pastries, cheese, yoghurt and great coffee to start your day. The location is very convenient; minutes walk to the metro station and bus 82 stops outside the door. The hotel is small and cosy with a boutique Parisian feel. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Terrible stay. Only stay here if there is nowhere else to stay. Service is really poor to begin with. The room is the smallest room I have ever stayed in, and we were in the largest room. The shower only gets to warm at best. It's pathetic. We had water dripping through our lights in the roof of our bathroom. All the drains and fittings and shelves were broken and / or loose. Absolutely nothing pleasant about this place. I would avoid at all costs.

Hope this can be viewed as constructive feedback. The service at the reception check in desk has been mixed. Ralph was helpful in getting me checked in. Forgot my room card key in the room, Anthony was not helpful and declined to assist me, and Adam was not friendly and courteous at all in explaining I need to have my ID (which I didn’t have) for an extra room key. Hopefully this message will be conveyed to the check in team to improve the service, they are the main point of contact for the hotel.

One of the big trend (understandable) in Paris is to double (if not more) the price of a room if there is a big event in Paris or in the hotel's area. I had it for the Fashion Week, now I got it because of a huge event at Porte Maillot. I booked late so all my usual hotels were fully booked or overprized. Until I got to the Saint Ferdinant. Price was higher but remains reasonable. As expected for a 4 stars hotels in Paris, breakfast is good, with enough choices. Staff is making the difference. Very friendly and helps a lot. They also changed their policies and are proposing ecofriendly options like having a free refill point for water. And they propose a bottle in case you do not have your own with you. Rooms are clean and surprisingly, very quiet even if it is a room facing the street. Good experience to recommend.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel im 17. Arrondissement. Kurzer Weg zu zwei Metro-Stationen mit denen man schnell überall in Paris ist. Gemütliche Betten, ein schönes Bad und ein Frühstück, was für uns völlig ausreichend war- Brötchen,Toast, Marmelade, Joghurt, Obstsalat, Wurst- und Käseauswahl, Marmeladen, Croissant, Pain au chocolat, ein Eierkocher, Kaffee- und Teeauswahl, Säfte- Sehr freundliches Personal! Falls man es braucht, es gibt keine Minibar und keinen Safe im Zimmer, aber, wir wussten uns zu helfen. Die Klimaanlage bei 37 Grad war weitaus wichtiger - und - vorhanden !

파리의 부유한 동네와 가까이에 있어 건물이 비교적 예쁘고 안전한 느낌, 직원들의 친절함이 좋습니다. 룸은 다소 좁지만 화장실 등 설계가 비교적 잘되어 있어요. 조식은 보통이었고 파리 도시가 전체적으로 그런 것 같은데, 먼지 청소는 잘 안하는 것 같아요. 그래도 다른 호텔보다 컨디션은 좋은 편이었어요.

We spent 3 nights here as a group of 6 (3 rooms) during September. Hotel was fabulous, very clean and modern, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. I think it must have been refurbished recently as the rooms were not at all dated as the previous reviews state. Our 3rd floor room even had a view of the Eiffel tower. Just around the corner from the train station and local shops plus an excellent Italian restaurant recommended by hotel staff. The only slight problem was we had to ask for more breakfast items to be put out each day, but I guess this is preferable to a lot wastage/dry bread. Would certainly recommend if you don't mind being a short train ride out of the city centre.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Wir hatten in den vergangenen vier Tagen in diesem Hotel gewohnt. Sehr zufrieden waren wir mit dem Personal an der Rezeption, denn es war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit dem uns zugeteilten Zimmer waren wir im Großen und Ganzen auch zufrieden, allerdings war dieses ziemlich klein für uns, weil wir mit unserer 6-jährigen Tochter angereist waren und nach dem Aufblasen ihres Luftbettes blieb im Zimmer so gut wie kein Platz mehr. Der Tisch war sehr klein und es gab nur einen Stuhl dort. Der Bereich der kleinen Küche war bezüglich des Herdes abgeschlossen. Es gab auch so gut wie keinen Geschirr. Dies haben wir uns aufgrund der Hotelfotos anders vorgestellt. So blieb uns von der Küche quasi nur der Kühlschrank. Nicht besonders gut fanden wir auch, dass trotz unserer Erinnerung an der Rezeption es fast durchgehend vergessen wurde, für unsere Tochter Handtücher zu hinterlassen. Das Badezimmer war nicht besonders groß, aber gut ausgestattet. Der sehr große Minuspunkt war für uns der Umstand, dass ausgerechnet während unseres Aufenthalts die U-Bahn-Verbindung mit Paris nicht funktionierte, weil für mehrere Tage Schienenersatzverkehr eingerichtet wurde. So wurde aus einer Entfernung zu Paris Stadtmitte anstatt ca 30 Minuten ca 60 Minuten, dazu auch noch 2 bis 3 Mal umsteigen. Dafür kann das Hotel zwar nichts, aber wenn man nicht einplant, nach Paris ständig mit eigenem Auto zu fahren, muss man diesen Punkt bei seiner Reiseplanung im Voraus berücksichtigen. Summa summarum: Wenn man kein Problem damit hat, für Fahrten nach Paris ggf 60 Minuten einzuplanen, ist dies im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes und empfehlenswertes Hotel.

We loved this place. The location was not too far from the city center. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast and parking were free. We were also able to request for additional chair and borrow the hair drier for no additional fee. The bed was comfortable and the water was strong and warm. Highly recommended.
