I arrived March 12th chasing online glimpses of pink blooms. What I found surpassed dreams: delicate petals dancing against karst mountains, quiet paths where time softened. Poetry in motion. But the true bloom wasn't only in the trees—it was in the people.

When I mentioned wanting to capture Anshun through video, she acted. Within hours, she connected me with a talented local photographer—a true artist. The footage? Breathtaking. She gifted me memories I'll hold forever.

SSmit_94Wow! Where do I even begin…?! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until we left, we experienced friendliness from all the staff members. They were all always eager to help and most of them can speak a little English but the translator works wonders as well and they were all very patient with using it. We initially only booked for one night but once arriving at the hotel and seeing the premises and rooms, we knew we had to immediately book another night as it exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the room we were in wasn’t available for the second night but the staff upgraded us to a better room for the second night with one of the most amazing views! Breakfast was served as a buffet, it’s not very big but it has everything you need and it was delicious! There is a tea experience daily after 6:30pm where you can sit around the fire and grill some nuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes and snack on fruits while sipping on some iced white tea. On the 4th floor of the main building there is also a tea room where you can make your own tea and sip on it while enjoying the magnificent views from the viewing deck. On our second day, Jiao Jiao, the manager of the hotel, took us to the Baling River museum of bridges as well as to the viewing point of Dishuitan Waterfall. She was so helpful, friendly & kind. This hotel will forever be special to us as we got engaged here on our first night so we will definitely be back for many more visits in the future. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. If you find yourself looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further! Book this hotel, you won’t regret it! Special thank you to all the staff that helped us during our stay - 小陶、小万和小绒 - you were all so attentive and went above and beyond. All I can say is thank you!! See you again soon!

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is only 10 minutes short walk from ticket counter and shuttle buses. Everything here is new, sparkling clean and from highest quality. The room has a great view over the pagoda and to watch sunrise. Owners very friendly and attentive. The only small downside that breakfast was only offered at 8:30 what is late if you want to enter the park early. Enjoyed my stay here!

WWorldexplorer91Superb hotel! I’ve travelled extensively throughout China and across Asia, and the customer service here is genuinely exceptional. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.
A special mention goes to the two kind women at the front desk who worked tirelessly to help me secure a last-minute Huangguoshu night tour. Their patience, professionalism, and dedication truly stood out and made my trip even more memorable. This is the definition of going above and beyond. I also really appreciated the atmosphere in the hotel lobby, and the women dressed in traditional Miao attire added a beautiful cultural touch that made the experience feel even more special.
My room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The bedding was excellent, but the pillows deserve their own paragraph. Honestly, the pillows were fantastic. The hotel even has an entire pillow selection display in the lobby where guests can choose the type they prefer. It’s such a thoughtful detail, and something you rarely find, even in most 5-star hotels.
The air conditioning was quiet yet powerful, cooling the room perfectly to my preferred temperature. The bathroom featured a high-end Toto smart toilet, strong water pressure in the shower, and plenty of hot water. Best of all, the rooms were impressively quiet, allowing for an incredibly restful night’s sleep.
The location is excellent as well. Surrounded by plenty of food options and only a couple of minutes by Didi from the Huangguoshu ticketing office.
The value for money here is incredible. Having travelled extensively across Asia, I can confidently say this is one of those rare finds where the quality far exceeds the price. I would absolutely stay here again.

SSunnyShaOur family of five – one grandma, 80+years old, two adults and two teenagers, had a wonderful time at Huangguoshu (Yellow Fruit Tree) in Guizhou. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia, which is 67 meters high and 83.3 meters wide. The whole Huangguoshu scenic area comprised of 18 waterfalls, making it the world’s largest waterfall cluster.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The breakfast fried noodle was our favourite. After the daily adventurous outing to the national park, we enjoyed the nice shower and were able to sleep soundly at night, the room is clean and new, outside environment was peacefully quiet.
On the day of departure, our self-pre-arranged transporter changed the vehicle from a 6-seater SUV to a 21 seater bus, which we rejected. Thankfully, the hotel manager helped to call up his transport contacts and was able to arrange a comfortable 6-seater vehicle to get us to Anshun Railway Station. The staff at the hotel are all local people, so they know the place and the people well.
This boutique hotel is highly recommended. Our family of five bring back with us wonderful memories of our stay here.

PPengguna TetamuI really enjoyed this hotel. The location is so peaceful and very close to the waterfalls. The VIP walk gives you a really clear view of the falls. The best is honestly the manager Xu, Wei and Wang. They were so nice and attentive to our needs and even had a celebration for the tuanyuan holidays. Great breakfast too, they knew we were foreigners so manager Xu went to get some bread for us for breakfast !!!! It’s by far the best hotel we have been since our trip. They really accommodate us and even pickup us up when we head to town for diner !!!!! I will definitely come back if I’m back in Guiyang. It really made some great memories for our China Trip!

XXiaoduiqingshan很不錯，離景點很近，然後服務也很好，是一個新的酒店，設施也好，這次專門定這家，就是因為他們在景區旁邊而且可以要求黃果樹要客的車送到門口，非常方便。所有的工作人員都很親切，辦入住的服務員態度很親切，尤其是在退房的那一天，要趕去第一遊客中心，本來有要客服務的，但是聯繫服務電話後那個車子沒有派，雖然不知道為什麼前兩天都可以到酒店最後一天為什麼不行，把情況跟前台説了，前台小夥知道了之後直接請示領導就用酒店的車把我們送到了第一遊客中心（因為帶父母出來玩考慮到拿行李箱不方便），在此尤其要感謝酒店這個叫田迪的工作人員，態度很好，能幫助客户解決臨時問題，主觀能動性很強。一個酒店好不好硬件和軟件都很重要，漫心府很不錯，下次有機會還會入住

However, the staff .....
We have reservations for 3 rooms, however, at check in, we were only given room cards for 2 rooms.and upon correction, had to wait for the 3rd room key...
At dinner, the beef soup noodles arrived one hour after we ordered, with almost no soup but a huge bowl of dry noodles, we had to ask for soup to be added... The beer order was missed. The Bolognese pasta tasted very weird that we ordered for kids, hope the meat was fresh. We asked to order a dessert from the menu and was told everything (all desserts, e.g. tiramisu, brownie, cheesecake etc) were sold out. We mentioned all these comments to the manager upon paying, and the manager merely said noted. And after 5 seconds when we were leaving she took out a cheesecake for us... We thought the desserts were sold out.... ?
Thirdly, , we joined membership and asked the hotel reception to book our next stay with Sheraton at Guiyang, however to our horror after we left the hotel, we received an email saying 3 rooms at this huangguishu hotel is booked instead. We have already paid. Now we are still on our trip and had to call the hotel and ask them to cancel the wrong booking. Even though on the phone they said they would, (no apologies by the way), we still receive no confirmation on the cancellation of the wrong booking... So still have to use long distance call to reach this hotel again today.
Forthly, the breakfast room and food choices are excellent. And most staff are hardworking. However, all hot water (the lemon water two hot water flasks) were left empty without top up despite requests. There was a staff funnily enough just hid in one of the breakfast rooms to avoid work....
Love four points design and hardware, but software really awkward experience.

PPengguna Tetamu住了兩天，終於明白作為一個評分五星級酒店，為啥它沒有進入榜單前五了，不止因為地理位置。
一是酒店管理差勁，二是酒店智能化產品**。
第一天，給我們安排到了客房部辦公室對面，早上8點多保潔阿姨們打開門開始吵架，嗓門大得跟在菜市場一樣，一直吵到了十點鐘，根本沒法睡懶覺，不知道的還以為住她家了。
第二天，我主動換了一個房間，小了一點就不説了，晚上10點多正在洗澡呢，突然有送餐電話打來，但我們沒人點外賣，怪嚇人的，趕緊擦乾打開房門一看，機器人在隔壁的隔壁房間門口，那打我電話幹嘛？？跟前台反饋，前台説等機器下去他們處理。
但是！！！11點多剛剛睡着，突然又有外賣電話進來，直接心臟驟停，出門一看小機器人還是在那個房間門口，再次向前台反饋，前台仍然衹有嘴上態度沒有實際行動。
因為凌晨12點多，又有外賣電話進來了，我要爆炸了，第二天還要開車六個小時回家，完全沒辦法休息，再次向前台反饋，然後拔掉了電話線，世界終於清靜了。

RRaghunath C G NairShengfeng Hotel was our first stop in Anshun City and marked the beginning of our 10-day journey through the truly amazing Guizhou Province. From check-in to check-out, our experience was consistently pleasant, and we stayed at the hotel for three comfortable nights. We are especially grateful to Xiao Wang at the front desk, whose engaging personality, accommodating attitude, and exemplary service quality made a genuine difference to our stay. His professionalism and warmth set the tone right from the start.
The hotel’s location was ideal for our needs. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all essential amenities, and exceptionally good value for the very reasonable price. Despite being centrally located, the room was quiet and peaceful, allowing us to enjoy restful sleep every night. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options that catered well to different tastes and provided a great start to each day.
This hotel is particularly well suited for overseas travellers, as its location offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the city and experience everyday life like a local. In addition to visiting the nearby Gufu Street night market, with its tempting array of culinary delights, we also explored the morning market close to the hotel. There, we interacted with street vendors who were friendly, welcoming, and happy to engage. We were genuinely touched by the warmth and openness of the people of Anshun. Speaking some Mandarin certainly helped us connect more meaningfully with the locals and enriched the experience even further.
This Hotel also served as an excellent base for visiting some truly incredible attractions, including the majestic Huangguoshu Waterfall, the historic Tunpu medieval army garrison, and the world-famous, record-breaking Huajiang Bridge. Each excursion was easily accessible and added to the overall convenience of staying here.
Will we stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Anshun? Absolutely, without hesitation. Our sincere thanks once again to Xiao Wang for making our stay so memorable.
