We had a wonderful five-day stay at The Outside Hotel by Lake Fuxian. Our two hosts, were absolutely outstanding — friendly, generous, and full of local knowledge. We stayed in a lovely balcony room overlooking the lotus fields. The room was spotless, the setting was peaceful, and the hospitality genuinely exceptional. They also serve great coffee. For those who like the outdoors there is lovely walking all around. We've been travelling through China for two months now and this has been our favourite accommodation so far - and the breakfast noodles were the best! Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

I had a wonderful time at Fuxian Lake. The location of the hotel was perfect, just 5-10 min walking to the lake. It was nice to just walk along the lake but it is also convenient to take didi to places that are a bit too far for walking. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly I even got an upgrade to a bigger room. If I was visiting Fuxian Lake again, I would definitely stay again at XiaXia Hotel!

We are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty! Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

前台非常客氣地幫我升級到了一個更大的房間，雖然我衹有一個人旅行。衞浴乾濕分離，還有個超大浴缸，並附上泡澡的一次性塑料袋。民宿就在馬房村村口，距離祕境花園咖啡非常的近。馬房村口也有電瓶車可以租用，環湖非常舒服。在這個區域的民宿大部分是沒有電梯的，不過小哥把我的行李箱從樓下拎到房間，我完全沒有動手的機會。非常推薦這個熱情好客的民宿，下次再來。 衞生：很好 服務：點個贊 環境：旁邊就有土菜館 設施：有韻味的房間（捨得），雙洗手枱，大浴缸，親子床

非常漂亮，在半山上可以正面俯瞰撫仙湖，大堂和自帶的咖啡館審美都很在線，很舒服也很出片。酒店附近還有好幾家很漂亮的海邊咖啡和餐廳，住在這都不用去撫仙湖其他收費景區了，就在小灣村玩兩天，頂多再去山下沿海景公路走一走，體驗一下海景公路咖啡，足夠了。

I would highly recommend everyone to book this apartment hotel. Every details matter and the service / hospitality is beyond excellence. The hotel owner is always reachable and they even rescued me when I could not book a taxi from the mountain at night. Most importantly, the apartment is spacious, clean, family-friendly and immensely comfy. The location is also awesome, can easily travel to everywhere.

A peaceful place with beautiful lake views. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of Fuxian Lake. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The hotel is located in a quiet area, so having a car or using Didi is recommended for getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall stay was very pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the lake.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was large and comfortable with a view of the lake. The breakfast was rice noodles daily, but they were delicious. The on site restaurant is very good. I had a meal there one night, and it was the best i have experienced in weeks. What made the stay was the friendliness of the manager. He helped me with getting the bus and translation troubles by writing some messages for the bus driver. He also took me to explain how the hire bikes work (which is very hard if you cannot read chinese).

如果出遊習慣住酒店，那這裏完全不推薦 兩星一星給到工作人員，態度好，響應積極 一星給到地理位置和窗外景色，就在濕地公園對面，窗外景觀所見即所得 然後就是一系列吐槽點 1. 首先是攜程照騙問題，實際上入住的是旅遊公寓，首圖的白色大樓並不是一家所有，而是1000多間房被大大小小的幾十家所謂此類酒店給承包分租了下來。 甚至於備註的房間不能挨在一起，因為隔壁相鄰的房間是別人的酒店公寓承包了。 所有人都可以無房卡上樓，可想而知該處你想要的私隱，安全會被魚龍混雜的人羣所困擾。 2. 設施陳舊，一次性物料透露出廉價感。除了床品還可以，沙發，桌子， 一次性拖鞋，浴巾等透露出一種百元經濟旅館的廉價感，和我350一晚的房間品質不符合，所以這一塊我真的不知道這麼多好評怎麼來的？ 踢腳線斑駁，牆斑駁，空調老舊導致製冷效果不好，熱水必須要等待很久才能出，這些不便利性如果是250的酒店那我可以降低預期，可是300多的基本上經濟性酒店要保障的需要好好保障吧。 3. 燒水壺品質問題導致斷電。 晚間正常燒水結果配備的燒水壺是有問題的，直接燒壞了保險絲導致整間房斷電了近15分鐘，我家小孩直接爆哭。 最後是公寓物業的電工師傅檢查出是燒水壺的問題，工作人員臨時換一個才好。這種常規使用物料的基本質檢是需要保障的吧？ 綜上，如果非要住請降低預期，300+住那我衹能説是大冤種，其他家基本一樣的佈局會便宜很多。老實講能入選優享會我不知道攜程怎麼評審的？ 我當天入住了半小時就想退房了，但是使用過房內一瓶水加上不想麻煩工作人員就把第二天晚上退了，第一天説忍耐一下，但是晚上的燒水壺事件確實把我嚇到了，説實話可以看到衞生打掃的不錯，但是因為設施陳舊給人感覺臟臟的。 建議老闆提升一下物料品質

這次入住體驗超出預期，出門吃飯去撫仙湖遊玩都方便，離撫仙湖也很近，散步幾分鐘就能走到，酒店一樓就是餐廳，懶得出門下樓就能吃了，房間收拾得乾乾淨淨，床睡着踏實，而且房間外面的風景也不錯，可以看到漂亮的撫仙湖，前台服務也周到，衞生保潔也及時貼心。整體環境安靜，性價比很高，下次來還會繼續選這家，真心推薦。第一二張就是房間外面的風景了
