Yun Wai Mountain Residence is highly recommended. The hotel is located at the Qiongtai Scenic Spot, approximately 300 meters from the base of the cable car and 50 meters from the bus stop, at an altitude of nearly 1000 meters. This is an ideal location for exploring Wudangshan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. I was repeatedly and pleasantly surprised by how much everyone cared for a foreigner without any knowledge of Chinese. The hotel's restaurant offers local and Taoist specialties. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and meditative. The rooms are spacious with fantastic mountain views. I felt very comfortable for a week – nothing was lacking. Bonus: the five cats also take excellent care of the guests, especially during nighttime strolls. Note: you must take the last bus to the cable car (Qiongtai) at 5 pm, otherwise you will remain in the valley (no exceptions).

This homestay is so so comfortable, so clean and new and very nicely and thoughtfully designed, it makes us want to retire in a house just like this! Our hosts are a family, very hospitable, helpful and sweet, they make us feel right at home. The older, strong Uncle insisted on helping us carry our luggage up the mountain as we made our way up to the scenic spot! We also love their breakfast - fresh, with a decent variety that will hold us over for hours. This location is as close to the entrance of the bus terminal that will take us up the mountain (no taxis or private cars are allowed up), so if you want to spend time up there, this is a good location. 这家民宿真的非常舒服！房间干净崭新，设计得美观，贴心，让我们都想退休后住进这样的房子里！房东是一家人，非常热情好客、乐于助人又亲切，让我们感觉像在家一样自在。那位健壮的叔叔还坚持帮我们把行李扛上山，一路陪我们走到景区呢. 我们也很享受他们家的早餐——很新鲜，种类足够让我们撑上好几个小时。 这里的位置离上山巴士站入口很近（私家车和出租车不允许上山），如果想在山上多玩会儿，选这里准没错！

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures, which made me feel comfortable and confident from the moment I arrived. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciated the thoughtful hospitality of the hostess. She went above and beyond by taking me on her scooter to the local market so I could get fresh baozi and soy milk for breakfast. It was such a kind gesture and gave me a chance to experience a bit of local life as well. The genuine care and warmth of the hosts made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation and exceptional hospitality.

I was warmly greeted and the lady at the reception made a great effort to speak to me in English. I got a big room with everything you need including a hairdryer. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom including the shower. And as it was winter with cold temperatures outside (down to - 12°C) I really appreciated the hot shower and the air condition which was able to heat up the room quite fast. Breakfast was like a small menu, a noodle dish, corn congee, an egg, sticky rice, jiaozi and more. They also serve dinner and have a great variety of food to offer. So I enjoyed my stay there very much. Again the staff was very friendly and helped me with ordering and were also waiting patiently until I had translated the menu and chosen the dishes I wanted. Oh yes, and if you want to enjoy a beer with the meal, you can buy that at the reception.

Instead the workers don't speaks English or other language likes is usual on China, my experience was the best. They have made everything to makes me feel confortable and we could communicate In different ways, using translators, or gestures or a little words on Mandarin and English.. I feel them really like a family now especially Lidan, one great woman that was my guard angel there and teach Taichi and Guquin on that place and Shao Hu who takes me to the hospital when I was ill. It's a good place to get immerse on China culture. You can also learn calligraphy or take lesson's about Tea sommelier not only martial Arts.. It is more than a hotel. You can have a nice experience there and is near Wudang mountain. They also sell tea and clothes.

🏠房間環境：氛圍感拉滿，細節控狂喜 一進房間就被狠狠戳中！是超治癒的復古原木風，深灰吊頂搭配暖光吊燈，米白牆面質感滿滿，完全沒有廉價感。床品軟乎乎的，一躺上去就卸下了所有疲憊，睡眠質量直接拉滿。 每個角落都藏着小心思：窗邊的棉花乾花、復古酒桶邊幾、手工鈎花桌布，還有牆上的裝飾畫和幾何鏡，隨手拍都是大片，完全不用濾鏡！房間乾淨到離譜，一塵不染，空調、電視、茶具一應俱全，住起來比家裡還舒服。 📚 公共區域：治癒感爆棚，像家一樣温暖 公共區域真的太絕了！整面牆的書架擺滿了書，陽光灑進來的時候，窩在沙發上讀幾頁書，聽着留聲機的音樂，瞬間就被治癒了。還有復古留聲機、精緻茶具、柔軟的沙發，不管是發呆、看書還是和老闆聊天，都超級愜意，完全是旅途中的避風港。 ✨ 整體體驗：武當山旅居的最佳選擇 來武當山玩，真的不用糾結住宿了！這家民宿不僅顏值在線，舒適度更是滿分。位置方便，環境安靜，細節拉滿，完全是把“治癒”刻進了骨子裡。不管是來武當山祈福、徒步，還是像我一樣旅居慢生活，這裏都是完美的落腳點。 已經推薦給所有要來武當山的朋友了，下次來還住這裏！

My stay at Wanda Yuehua·Yinxi Hotel was overall quite satisfactory. 📍 Location: The hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of town, surrounded by an abundance of dining options. Additionally, it's conveniently just a 5-minute stroll to the entrance of Wudang Mountain, making it perfect for explorers. 🏨 Room: While the room was a tad compact for my liking, it was clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, during my stay, the air conditioning was malfunctioning, which made the room a bit uncomfortable at times. 🚽 Facilities: One highlight was the modern and impeccably clean toilet facilities. However, despite the hotel's non-smoking policy, there was a noticeable cigarette odor lingering in the corridors and some rooms. 🛎️ Service: Although the absence of a lift was a bit inconvenient, the staff didn't offer assistance with luggage. Despite appearing initially aloof, the concierge staff surprised me with their patience and helpfulness, providing valuable local insights. 👍 Additional Services: The hotel offers tour guide services at a reasonable price, which I found to be on par with external options. I engaged one and was pleased with the service provided. In conclusion, Wanda Yuehua·Yinxi Hotel offers a convenient location and decent amenities, albeit with some minor drawbacks. With a little improvement in certain areas, it has the potential to be an even more inviting accommodation choice.

The room is very nice, clean, and strategically located in the town - shops and restaurants all around, close to the pedestrian street. That's all great. The only issue (and it's a huge one) is that there's no staff on site. You need to call them upon arrival, which I did. Unfortunately, they just dropped my call and ignored me, leaving me standing at the entrance with no one coming. I actually had to contact Trip.com support to get them to reach the hotel so I could access my room. The lady who eventually came was very nice and friendly. Nevertheless, if I have to call the platform's customer service just to check in, that's a massive failure of the most basic service on the hotel's part.
