Not only was it such a unique experience to stay in a Minnan / fujian traditional house, the house is beautifully restored and wonderfully updated to suit modern comforts. The Chen family was also so kind and genuine, we immediately felt welcomed the moment we stepped in! Everything a traveller could need was thought of and as a result our stay was super comfortable, I really appreciate all of the small thoughtful touches, and also being able to try all the local delicacies for breakfast! I would have to say it was simply one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in. Thank you so much for making our stay in Kinmen so memorable, I will tell everyone to visit! and I will definitely stay here next time we visit. Highly recommended! ^^

民宿打掃得非常乾淨，可以說是一塵不染，寢具很親膚超級舒服，感覺有好好乾洗過，不是那種制式的被子有霉味又難蓋，服務態度也非常好，入住後遇到什麼問題都是即時回覆，當晚房間突然出現一隻大飛蟲，跟民宿說了一下，民宿馬上派人來幫我抓蟲，讓我睡得很安穩，下次來金門也要住這間。

When we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

It was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

It is far from the main road, but near the beach. So there is Pro and Con that each individual needs to consider. The person that welcomes us is friendly and warm, explaining all the necessary details that are needed. The bed is good and the water heater is functioning. The air-conditioning is cold. The beach near by is nice and one can see the 金门大桥.

【Pengalaman Penginapan Kinmen yang Menyentuh Hati】 Lokasi Jingcheng B&B sangat strategik. Ia hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki ke Stesen Kinmen, Pejabat Jeneral, dan Jalan Mofan. Terdapat juga pasar di Jalan Minzu berdekatan, dengan banyak kedai sarapan pagi dan gerai makanan ringan. Malah penginapan di tingkat satu juga sangat tenang (saya akan mengesyorkannya kepada rakan-rakan!). Seluruh bangunan B&B cerah dan bersih, dan cadar di dalam bilik lembut dan selesa. Dedikasi pemilik untuk mengekalkan alam sekitar jelas kelihatan di mana-mana! Pemilik dengan mesra menerangkan butiran penggunaan kemudahan bilik, termasuk mengingatkan kami untuk menghidupkan pemanas jika kami berasa sejuk. Memandangkan B&B komited terhadap pembangunan lestari, tetamu Hong Kong dinasihatkan untuk membawa ubat gigi dan berus gigi mereka sendiri. Untuk air minuman, anda boleh menggunakan cawan yang disediakan atau membawa botol air anda sendiri ke dispenser air panas di lobi. Di samping itu, rumah tamu menyediakan uncang teh untuk kami gunakan sesuka hati (mereka juga mempunyai serbuk teh halia!). Oleh kerana kami menyewa kereta daripada Kinmen Car Rental (penduduk Hong Kong perlu membawa plat lesen Hong Kong dan antarabangsa semasa menyewa kereta), tuan rumah memberitahu saya lokasi tempat letak kereta berhampiran rumah tamu dan tarikan, serta beberapa petua memandu untuk Kinmen. Dia juga dengan murah hati berkongsi jadual perjalanan yang disyorkan untuk Greater Kinmen dan tarikan yang mesti dikunjungi di Lieyu Township (Little Kinmen), menjadikan keseluruhan perjalanan lebih menarik dan memuaskan!

Perjalanan ke Xiamen ini telah diatur melalui ”Mini Three Links” dari Kinmen. Jadual perjalanan Kinmen merangkumi 3 hari 2 malam, dengan penginapan di Kinmen Shimei Resort. Kemudahan dan perkhidmatannya sangat baik (bilik triple mempunyai 2 bilik tidur, 1 ruang tamu, 1 bilik mandi, dan 1 dapur). Aspek istimewa yang patut dipuji ialah perkhidmatan sarapan pagi; cef dan kakitangan memberikan penjelasan terperinci tentang cara memanaskan makanan untuk meningkatkan rasanya. Ia menunjukkan dedikasi yang tulen untuk melayani tetamu (ini merangkumi semangat Kinmen – layanan mesra dan melayan pelancong seperti keluarga dan rakan) – benar-benar mengagumkan! Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah lokasi resort yang terpencil (jauh dari bandar Kinmen, lapangan terbang, dan Shuitou Wharf). Penambahbaikan dalam kemudahan dan perkhidmatan diperlukan – seperti perkhidmatan ulang-alik lapangan terbang percuma dan sewa teksi/motosikal dengan diskaun. Ini hanyalah pendapat, cadangan dan pemikiran peribadi saya; saya harap ia membantu. Akhir sekali, saya mendoakan agar semua orang menikmati perjalanan yang bahagia, selamat dan menyeronokkan!

I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic. Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was definitely the owner; she is incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me in renting an electric scooter, which made exploring the area so much easier. The property was spotlessly clean, and the location is very convenient. There is a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was very handy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service, this is it.

因為他們不在市區，所以本來想租機車，但是因為下雨，且我太晚講，租車處都已打烊（18：00後），所以只好作罷，但是還好民宿附近有公車站牌，到機場跟市區中心交通還算方便，不是一定要租機車或搭計程車，不過公車一小時一班，要自行留意到站時間，金城開車時間蠻準時的，但到民宿快則10幾分鐘，慢的話大概20幾分。
