PPengguna TetamuNot only was it such a unique experience to stay in a Minnan / fujian traditional house, the house is beautifully restored and wonderfully updated to suit modern comforts.
The Chen family was also so kind and genuine, we immediately felt welcomed the moment we stepped in!
Everything a traveller could need was thought of and as a result our stay was super comfortable, I really appreciate all of the small thoughtful touches, and also being able to try all the local delicacies for breakfast!
I would have to say it was simply one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in.
Thank you so much for making our stay in Kinmen so memorable, I will tell everyone to visit! and I will definitely stay here next time we visit.

PPengguna Tanpa Nama民宿打掃得非常乾淨，可以說是一塵不染，寢具很親膚超級舒服，感覺有好好乾洗過，不是那種制式的被子有霉味又難蓋，服務態度也非常好，入住後遇到什麼問題都是即時回覆，當晚房間突然出現一隻大飛蟲，跟民宿說了一下，民宿馬上派人來幫我抓蟲，讓我睡得很安穩，下次來金門也要住這間。

LLF ChongI really enjoyed my stay in this minsu, the host was great and helpful. Helped to reserve our ferry tickets in advance, picked us up at the kinmen ferry terminal and offered to send us there on our return trip. Gave us lots of recommendations.
The traditional house was great, like the ambience, very clean compact (being an old house) but has everything like washer, water dispenser, even a vinyl player with old nostalgic songs!

SSightsee BugWhen we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

PPang JStaying at Jingcheng Home Stay was perfect for us. Since Kinmen is a very small town and our family went there especially to experience its historic heritage. The wife of the owner of Jingcheng, Ms Xie was extremely helpful on our first day as she took us around town for a short tour and helped us to ascertain the local tour bus routes. This saved us a lot of time and hassles in the following day. And she helped us to call a taxi ahead of time for our departure to the ferry pier. I recommend Jingcheng very much for those who do not mind home stay.

PPsymondThe staff here are the loveliest, kindest, and most caring people who go above and beyond to make you feel at home, picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry terminal during our short first stay in Kinmen, and feeding us with a sumptuous breakfast. The hotel is truly nestled away from the 'city centre' which allows for the space and grandeur of the building, and affording us the peaceful quiet of its environment we were searching for. Thanks a ton to Doris, Li, Lee and the team for your hospitality - we will be back!

PPengguna TetamuFacilities are rather old. Toilet wooden door frame is broken like of humid cause. It more like a youth training camp, operated by ***, suitable or travellers without high expectations of quality and service in exchange for lower price. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast including congee and sliced bread. Excellent location at town centre, recommend to rent an e-bike (no driver’s licence required), a rental store right across the road, can be returned at ShuiTou Pier or Airport.

Tumbler Travel is located in Jinning Township, not right in the busy center but close enough to key spots like Kinmen National Park and the airport — it’s only a short ride away, which was super convenient. Some reviewers said the area isn’t super lively with restaurants right outside, but it’s peaceful and a good base for exploring by bike or scooter. 
Cleanliness & facilities:
Guests generally mention that the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and basic amenities like air-conditioning, a fridge, and reliable water. It’s not a luxury place — think simple yet functional. 
One recommended feature is that it offers free airport transfer (with prior notice), which is handy if you’re flying into Kinmen. 
Service & atmosphere:
Reviews note that the host was welcoming and helpful, especially if you’re a solo traveler. Multiple guests talked about a smooth check-in and staff who were happy to share tips about the island or help with directions. 
It’s described as a nice youth hostel vibe, with shared spaces and a relaxed feel — good for meeting other travelers if you’re not in a hurry to disappear into your room.

SStar FinderIts location, price and helpful staff were the plus points. Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).
