This boutique hotel presents an amazing surprise in the depths of the Miao Village. The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art Smart Home systems. For example, one could control the curtains and lighting with verbal commands—in mandarin. There was a slide and ball pit in our room, which was a bonus. The bathtub is one of the largest offerings we have encountered and come with a herbal bath services that is included with the booking fee. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have round-the-clock room service, one could ask the front desk for help with food orders by means of a local food delivery app. Our McDonalds order arrived within half an hour. The hotel provides Miao traditional clothes for guests to wear and take photos, free of charge. Last but not least, the hotel rooms provide a beautiful and unblocked view of the Miao village and the mountainous terrain. The hotel crew that we met were extremely helpful, and would help provide additional lighting for night photo shoots, carry your bags, and also bring food to your room. Xiao Ning, Xiao Hai and Xiao Kai were really wonderful hotel staff who went the extra mile to make our stay most comfortable and memorable. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Our time in Long Tang was the highlight of our trip to China. The property is beautiful, with great attention to detail, stunning views and amazing food. We were lucky enough to be there during a Miao festival event, which made our stay even more special. We will never forget the friendly and welcoming people of Longtang. Thank you!

Staff was super friendly, location is amazing and room was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and very prompt. When we had issues with our heating, the staff immediately contacted the technician to resolve the issue. We got the loft room as we are a family of 4, including 2 young children. We love the room as it is spacious with an amazing view of the entire village. Will definitely highly recommend anyone to stay here for the great location and top notch service.

the most amazing stay with an amazing view. Hotel lobby and room are insanely gorgeous. Butler sevice was really good. 小刘 met us at the west gate of the attraction and carried our duffle bags all the way to the hotel. Its very conveniently located closer to the top of the mountain and next to the main road so you don’t have to climb up any small alleys to get here. Amenities were amazing too - Dyson hairdryer, le labo shower amenities. Free mini bar drinks. They even give you a special Miao medicated foot bath and hot milk as bed time amenities.

這次入住是超預期。從地理位置、房間設施，到觀景露台、房間陽台，再到下午茶、早餐、夜宵，每個細節都讓人覺得這家店是認真在做民宿，而其中最想誇的還是服務。 入住前就提前建羣，主動溝通交通路線和入住細節；到了景區門口有人接，一路陪着坐景區內交通、幫忙拿行李，完全不用自己研究路線、擔心換乘。尤其要表揚管家小盧，真的特別好。自己拎着行李箱、揹着雙肩包，還一直照顧我腿腳不太方便的媽媽，走台階、上下車都會耐心提醒、招呼等待。這裏的服務不是那種很會説漂亮話、讓人覺得刻意的“熱情”，而是非常自然、真誠、實實在在地替客人考慮，這一點尤其難得。 房間本身也很舒服，美人靠和陽台非常適合發呆，大露台的視野更是一覽無餘。房間裏準備的飲料和堅果也能感覺到是認真選過的，不是隨便擺兩樣應付。早餐豐富，營養搭配得很好；下午茶也是實實在在的一份，不是為了拍照宣傳而硬加出來的形式感。晚上還有夜宵甜湯，豆沙糯米湯很好吃。早晨想喝咖啡，想喝濃的，懂我給做了杯濃縮，還配了杯冰水，小細節很專業。 比較遺憾的是媽媽腿腳不方便，我們沒能去參加蠟染活動，但待在酒店裡一點也不覺得浪費時間。樓下可以選民族服裝，在房間、陽台、露台拍拍拍，也一樣開心。整個入住期間感覺自己一直很“忙”——忙着看風景、喝茶、拍照、發呆、吃東西，時間一點都沒有浪費，因為一直在享受其中。 很多人説千户苗寨現在已經有點像“第二個麗江”，商業和喧鬧不可避免，但讓我意外的是，住在這裏反而可以暫時避開那種“麗江感”。晚上確實能聽到酒吧的駐唱和喧鬧，但夜深之後也就慢慢安靜下來。 特別推薦一定要早起。晨霧瀰漫的時候，從露台望出去，整個寨子還沒有甦醒，那一刻看到的才像是真正安靜的千户苗寨。 一切都很好，是一個可以在喧囂中找到舒服和安靜的地方。尤其感謝小盧和店裡的工作人員，讓帶着腿腳不便的媽媽出行也變得非常省心。希望以後還有機會再來。 ps：贈送的洗護用品和伴手禮，用心了。

The room was small, and the bathroom was shared, which I thought was a bit pricey, but since it was August.... As other reviews have said, the view was stunning. It was definitely worth the money. The people at the hotel were also very friendly.

Great Location, Cozy Stay The guesthouse is well-located—away from the main tourist spots yet within walking distance, offering a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The overall experience was satisfactory, though the maintenance could be improved. A good choice for those seeking a peaceful stay near the village.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

A beautiful and memorable stay right in the heart of the old town. Although the accommodation is located higher up and requires climbing some stairs, it was not tiring at all because the staff kindly helped carry our luggage all the way from the bottom to the hotel. The room itself was stunning, with large windows that offered the most breathtaking panoramic view of the old town. Honestly, it felt like one of the best viewpoints in the area. Every corner was picture-perfect. The design was especially impressive, blending beautifully with the historic atmosphere through elegant vintage-style decor while still providing modern comforts. The amenities were complete, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with smart automatic features. The shower was amazing too, with strong water pressure that made it extra satisfying. The owner was warm and friendly, offering great local restaurant recommendations that made exploring even better. The location was also excellent, just a short walk from a nearby scenic viewpoint. Perfect for anyone who wants charm, comfort, beautiful views, and an authentic old town experience.

I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!
