This place was a dream. Jia & Tong are lovely people with good taste. Travelling on my own and having little idea of what to do in the area (due to lacking Chinese language skills), Jia was super helpful with recommendations and arrangements. I only had one day but he managed to make arrangements in such a way that I saw another beautiful old Dong village that wasn’t too touristy as well as the stunning rice-field sunset. I felt like I could even just spend the day watching the view from the balcony whilst drinking the amazing tea. But instead I had a great day and even rounded it off chatting in great company and trying some local drinks. The local people are creative, super friendly and some have a great sense of humour ;) I’ve hardly ever felt so taken care of, so safe, and with so much fun. All the amenities are high quality, the sheets felt like 100% cotton (which is very rare across China I found!) The designs are great using local materials. And yes, the bath is great too! I forgot to ask for local shopping recommendations, which I am sure they must have as they have some beautiful items in the rooms and in the social area. I very much hope to visit again soon. It feels like an area and a place full of people I would love to get to know better.

We had a lovely time in Tang'an. Mrs Pan was a very attentive and thoughtful host, who communicated well through wechat, giving us excellent directions to take the beautiful walk through the rice fields. The accommodation is warm and comfortable, with amazing views down the valley, over the rice fields. Everything there feels new and clean, the bed was big and comfortable and the shower was great. Mrs Pan cooked is an excellent breakfast of noodles and local dong rice, and also arranged bus travel to the next village so we could explore, then picked us up afterwards. The day we left she also arranged our transport to the train station. We wished we could have stayed longer to experience more of the Dong village life, which Mrs pan was happy to share with us. I would this homestay to everyone

Overall, the combination of beautiful surroundings, thoughtful amenities, and outstanding hospitality made our stay both enjoyable and memorable.

這次貴州行，肇興侗寨是我們最後一站。本來是在其他平台預訂了信團鼓樓附近的民宿，看到網上的攻略説去到衞生院才有交通車到高鐵站，又帶着孩子，隊友的手受傷了不方便拿行李，我怕一個人做事的時間有限，距離有點遠，馬上退了。 攜程推薦給我這個民宿，大致瀏覽了一下評論，老闆是廣東人，會提供攻略，交通方便，毫不猶豫預訂了。出發前一天加了微信聯繫老闆，老闆也耐心解答我的問題，給我發了攻略。 22號早上10點下了高鐵之後，按照老闆的指引坐交通車真的是直達店門口，省去我搬行李的麻煩。由於我們到店的時間太早，老闆熱情招待我們先寄存行李，再用地圖給我們詳細介紹寨區路線，指引我們先去主街區。 晚上回來取房卡入住時，發現我的行李已經被老闆搬上去了，服務周到！一進門看到那些床品，好温馨，不在是單調的白，重點是廁所沒味道，還有半乾濕區，門口放了吸水墊防滑，這是比較細心的一個行為，有些大酒店都沒這樣好的小細節。房間還配備茶具歎茶。 我們訂的雙床房還是有很大的活動空間，靠窗還可以看到寨門，美麗的油菜花，早上起來可以呼吸新鮮空氣，晚上還是看煙花極好的觀景台！店裡還養了貓，我家小孩最愛擼貓，這次也是訂到她的心坎上了。這裏還有很大的晾曬區，可以洗衣服晾衣服，還不用擔心做完的蠟染扎染作品未乾透而沒地方晾曬了。 最後回程也是聽老闆的安排，幫我們叫了景區交通車，直接店門口上車，順順利利到達高鐵站。這次去侗寨下雨了有點可惜，有些節目活動沒參加到，下次有機會再去侗寨還選這裏住。 第一次寫這麼多點評，是真心覺得的遇到了好老闆，住上了好的民宿，為老闆點贊！

Great hotel, perfectly located in the front area of Zhaoxing village. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There’s even a coffee bar at the reception (which is rare in China) and something that I enjoyed a lot. The rooms are nice and clean, although not very spacious. But that was no issue for us. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would book there again when we come back for another trip!

春節假期結束。點評一下一路走過去的各家住宿酒店。 這個酒店是年初一入住，整體評價良好，體驗了一把木屋，可能是春節原因，老闆娘比較忙，老闆娘他們交流不多，但她看到我們帶着小孩，還給我們升級了房間。 設施：配套的該有的有，但是和酒店的差距還是頗大。另外就是因為是木屋，不怎麼隔音，在房內説話都是小心翼翼，怕吵到其他人。 衞生：整體乾淨。 環境：面對鼓樓，風景好，晚上鼓樓開燈，風景更美。 服務：因為是樓梯，老闆娘還幫我們主要提箱子，服務點贊。

Cons: - stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more) - I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault) - the staff doesn't speak English Pros: - It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing. - The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :) - Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China. - The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate. - I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

The hotel accepts foreigners. The room doesn't have a key or card; you need a password instead. It's likely the same password for every room, as some children entered our room as if it were their own. The rooms are clean. They use bath foam instead of body wash. Breakfast is limited to noodles, boiled eggs, and steamed buns.

老闆和老闆娘都非常熱情，到景區大門接我們到店入住，在店裡泡一壺香茶清香可口，甜到喉嚨。木製的房屋一點兒不潮濕，雖然距離商業街不遠，但噪音不大，11點後全部停止營業了。窗外的小河廊橋風景如畫。很好的入住體驗。

衞生：他們的房間打掃的很細緻，床鋪也是乾淨整潔的，衞浴沒有水漬異味，真的是放心住 環境：位置居高臨下，站在露台能俯瞰整座肇興侗寨全景，羣山環繞、吊腳樓錯落，早晚雲霧繚繞，在這裏看景真的很漂亮 設施：房間空間寬敞，智能馬桶、花灑、洗浴用品、吹風機用的都是大品牌，觀景落地窗視野絕佳，熱水 WiFi 穩定，在這麼高的地方打遊戲都不成問題， 服務：老闆熱心周到，雲南手工麪條和現熬楊梅湯很好吃，還會主動告知我們這邊侗寨的遊玩路線、還推薦了非常地道的侗家美食，入住全程省心舒服
