This hotel is not located by the roadside; however, it offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere in a Hani village. From the parking area, you need to walk about aprox 150 meters to reach the accommodation. For those who enjoy being far from the hustle and bustle, this place is truly impressive. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, and the service is excellent. There is a temple next to the hotel. It is a small hotel with rooms not more than 10, but it is worth to stay. Rice terrace is right in front of the hotel.

這家民宿非常棒，老闆夫妻服務熱情，住宿品質很高。 民宿位於阿者科村外，步行十分鐘左右到檢票口，一路是讓人念念不忘的梯田美景。 民宿門口有很大的停車場，方便自駕。 屋頂平台視野也非常好，我們看到了雨後的燦爛晚霞和清晨的雲海。 客房很大，標間的床非常寬，陽台上可以安安靜靜的眺望遠山。衞生打掃得很乾凈，提供了充足的飲用水和一次性用具。洗澡水很好，水壓大，水温穩定。 我們一家老小對這家民宿的評價都非常高。

This hotel is a must if you go to the rice terraces!! We had a lovely stay here and the staff was incredibly kind. We got a delicious breakfast everyday, we received amazing service in their restaurant and always got water and sometimes some extra's. The room was very spacious, had AC, a heating pad and lovely view. They also have a viewing platform with a nice view. Also from this hotel you can visit a lot of sites in the neighbourhood. The staff accomodates their guests with their every needs!

You have to park quite a distance from the hotel, and two ladies came to carry all of our bags - they were amazingly strong. As we approached the hotel I did wonder what it was going to be like - it's not very smart outside at all. Checking in was very easy. Our rooms were really nice with the most amazing view of the rice terraces. There were chairs on the balcony and two little sofas just inside. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine for our Chinese friends, a bit basic for westerners. We had a great stay in the area and were lucky with a lovely sunrise on the first morning.

You can’t get a better view. Of all the terraces, 多依樹 Duoyishu is the best one and all the rooms here have a large window over looking the terraces. There’s also roof top access to a big viewing platform. Breakfast is good and the hotel can serve dinner at a cost, it was reasonable and the fish was delicious!! The beds have warming function and heating unit worked great. Warm milk before bedtime was a great plus. The shower and toilets are in the same space, even though the space is big, I still thought it was a bit awkward, but over all I had a wonderful time! Don’t come with a lot of luggage, there’s a short trail you have to walk, they will carry your luggage for you but better pack light. Will remember always.

YunShang TianShang JianYue Hotel Stayed at hotel for 3 nights, great place to stay View - great view of rice terraces from the balcony, the Duoyishi rice terraces are right in front of the hotel Food - can eat at the hotel and there are other food places nearby within walking distance. Service - Lady Boss very welcoming, friendly and cheerful, very helpful too. She is a great cook and barista. Lady Boss and her assistant looked after us very, very well. Amenities - the hotel has stands fitted for mobile photography, heating and electric blankets were lovely, the weather was very cold during our stay. The food served by the hotel was very nice and very reasonably priced. Location - conveniently located, other rice terraces are not too far away. Conclusion - really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, hope I will have the chance to stay there again.

Sometimes when traveling, you find these magical places with wonderful people that make for precious memories. This was one such place for me. Immediately when entering, I could feel that this is like a home - with a lot of love put into every little detail and the warm and welcoming spirit of the hosts. One of them (Tina) even speaks English and she is very well-travelled and kind enough to share her knowledge and time and give many many really helpful recommendations. It's difficult to put into words, so all I can do is say thank you and wholeheartedly recommend staying here and experiencing this wonderful place! It's the perfect home away from home in a beautiful area with wonderful hosts.

This was my third trip to Yuanyang rice terraces to watch the harvest, that I am fascinated by, during harvest season My previous trips I stayed at OneNess Resort (1/2 mile from Cloud). Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. I was heading out so they quickly went back to the main reception and then returned to give me several “brew in you room” coffee pods. Fabulous location, fabulous people.. I’ll be back - God willing.

I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was. The homestay offers a truly serene and quiet environment, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether it was enjoying the calm mornings or unwinding in the quiet evenings, every moment felt rejuvenating. The host, 小雅, was exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring everything was perfect without intruding on the peaceful vibe. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay even more special. If you’re looking for a quiet, calming retreat to recharge, I highly recommend this homestay. It’s a hidden gem that I will definitely return to in the future. Thank you for such a memorable and peaceful experience!

What a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea. Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset. There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great. Thanks Lucian! -Travis and Elisha (Colorado, USA) PS.
