My stay at the Catalonia El Pilar was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel has a charm and quality that far exceeds its official four-star rating, and I firmly believe it deserves a fifth star. From the moment I entered, I was struck by the beautiful, character-filled decor. The hotel masterfully blends historic charm with modern comfort, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. This sense of character extends to the rooms, which are impeccably clean and spacious. The excellence began at check-in with the wonderfully helpful and efficient receptionist service. Every staff member I encountered was professional and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a perfect stay. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide and delicious selection of hot and cold items that provided the perfect start to each day of exploration. It is clear that the management is doing an excellent job. The seamless operation, the motivated staff, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property speak volumes about their leadership. A final note on the location: Zaragoza itself is an amazing city, a captivating blend of history, culture, and vibrant local life. For better or worse, it remains wonderfully off-the-beaten-track for the majority of travelers, making it a truly authentic Spanish discovery. Combining this incredible city with a hotel of such high caliber makes for an unforgettable trip. I would not hesitate to return and cannot recommend the Catalonia El Pilar highly enough

Todo muy bien , la habitación amplia, luminosa y muy limpia, espectacular la bañera y el servicio muy bien, nos atendió Enrique y muy contentos, espectacular trato de su parte!

The location is quite average, it’s in a newly developed area, so you’ll need to walk around 1.5–2 km to reach the nearest tourist spots or restaurants. On the bright side, there’s a small café by the reception that offers food and drinks at affordable prices. Amenities are very basic (only soap provided), with no slippers, shower cap, or drinking water.

這家旅館是這趟Madrid, Valencia, Calp, *****cola, Barcelona, Zaragoza自駕遊裏住的最舒服，性價比也是最高的。酒店離Zaragoza裏大廟和主要景點都是步行距離，床墊被子枕頭非常舒適，房間大小和所有置物空間設計通通非常合理，地下車庫停車免費，延時退房每超一小時收10歐，早餐後城區景點逛完，回酒店洗澡，下午三點退房，開車三小時不到回巴塞羅那，超市買水果上飛機吃，簡單晚餐後機場還車，辦理登機，晚上航班剛剛好，不忙不亂，洗個澡換乾淨衣服舒服登機返程。

Centrally located Very helpful staff.The room was spacious and very clean.The breakfast was a lovely surprise for a 3 star hotel.Best value for money.

Hotel bien situado, moderno, en zona tranquila, junto al centro comercial Gran Casa y a unos 20min andando del centro y de la basílica del Pilar y con parada de tranvía en la puerta. Estuvimos en una habitación estándar, de tamaño mediano, suficiente para estar a gusto unos días. La cama era cómoda y el mobiliario en general cuidado. La calefacción funcionaba perfectamente y no se oían ruidos de otras habitaciones ni del pasillo. El tamaño del baño era suficiente para dos personas, buena temperatura del agua caliente y buena presión del agua que para mí es muy importante. La bañera se veía un poco deteriorada, con la típica silicona un poco ennegrecida y rematada regular, así como el cristal, siempre insuficiente en la mayoría de hoteles para que el agua no se salga fuera de la bañera. Del desayuno no podemos opinar porque solo cogimos alojamiento (hay suficientes sitios alrededor para desyunar a un precio razonable).

Hotel muy muy sencillo con excelente ubicación. Las habitaciones con los muebles justos y necesarios, estilo IKEA, con dos camas y dos pequeñas mesas como mesitas de noche, y una TV. Eso si nuevos. El baño antiguo, no está reformado. Se nota que es un hotel para despedidas de soltero por el precio y la ubicación. Durante mi fin de semana no pararon de entrar y salir grupos de jóvenes con despedidas de soltero. Ruido infernal, borracheras mal llevadas e incluso vómitos en el pasillo.

No se puede utilizar apenas la bañera, no tiene tapón y hay que pedirlo en recepción. Aun así, tampoco sale agua del grifo haciendo que solo salga agua de la alcachofa de la ducha, tardando mucho en llenarse la bañera.

Un hotel clásico, con decoración y mobiliario que ha vivido épocas mejores pero precisamente por eso, icónico. Buen buffet de desayuno y ubicación excelente.

Dusty room (dust balls coming out from under the bed), very old bedding, mold on the shower walls, very dated in general. On the first two floors the hotel hosts (illegal) immigrants. They're hanging out in the lobby area, the hallways and the cafeteria. This gives a rather uninviting atmosphere (although there were no troubles).
