The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal. It has an interesting history. The original chateau building was constructed in the early 20th century by the architect Guillaume Tronchet in the Louis XVI style. The chateau was originally built as a country residence for the aristocracy of the early 20th century, and the architecture still shows the features of the ”transition” - the classical austerity of the Louis XVI style is intertwined with the light eclecticism of the Belle Époque. The hotel is located in the Chantilly forest, which creates a sense of a secluded reserve surrounded by Nature . Despite the proximity of Paris (only about 40 km), the hotel remains a quiet refuge in the forest - a feeling of being in a country castle rather than just a hotel. The hotel has 109 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the bionic environment, the equestrian traditions of the region and the subtleties of Chantilly lace . Many rooms have a view of the forest, and many have balconies or terraces. Unfortunately, there is a highway nearby, and the noise sometimes reaches the hotel. This disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. The chateau has two restaurants: L'Opera, located in the former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, which occupies the former library. The latter is quite small, and when there are many guests, it can become noisy. The restaurants offer dishes made with local ingredients, such as game, cheese from Picardy, and, of course, the famous ”à la Chantilly” cream. The cuisine is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Très bon accueil, très bon rapport qualité-prix. Bon petit déjeuner dans une salle très agréable. Chambre avec bonne literie et salle de bain fonctionnelle.

Clean, comfortable, good value for money. The staff were really friendly and super helpful. The location is great, conveniently located across the street from a couple of restaurants, and close to the airport shuttle and Beauvais Tille airport.

Personnel aimable et à l'écoute, hôtel parfait, nous nous sommes régalés que ce soit lors de notre dîner en famille ou bien avec le petit déjeuner gargantuesque pour tous les goûts. Everything was fine during my stay – the service was good, the room was clean, and I didn’t have any problems. Overall, I really liked it. The only thing I want to mention is that, although the hotel description says they offer transport, they actually don’t provide any transportation. They only give you information about how to get to the train or bus stations.

Very near to airport, but check in process is still a little bit chaotic because there is no instructions on the check in kiosk i called a guest to assist me on the check in. Overall the room is clean and big. And just that to keep in mind the buses here only accept cash!

Worst and scary hotel we stayed in France. Very far from airport. Dark, dirty,people hanging around outside our room knocking on our door at 1am! Looked like migrants living there waiting for you to leave your room,then following downstairs When we complained to the receptionist who said no other rooms to switch to. She didn’t speak or try to understand English. She did call a taxi for us in the morning which charged us €30 to go to the train station! Should have been 5-10 €. I wouldn’t stay there if you paid me 100€. Police should look into this **** hole! Mike

Great location only 10 minutes from the airport. Very helpful staff. Strong WiFi. A decent selection for breakfast. A few restaurants/take aways within a short walk.
