Booked this IXO Hotel as I like new hotels. A short easy walk from Semarang Poncol Train Station. I like their colorful decorations a lot. Good hot water to shower. The small face basin is not a concern, but they have a small shelf above it, under the mirror, to place the 2 toothpaste sets, and it is hard to brush my teeth. Hard to aim my mouth above the shelf and not to splash water onto the shelf. Great staff. Modern decoration. They have snacks and instant foods to sell at Lobby. Guests can get boiling water and cold water from the machine there. Very clean floor in room 105 but the shower room needs a brush with cleaning liquid. Old towels. Good bed linen. My room is a few steps from Reception so I didn’t use the elevator. Room has 2 bottles of water, 2 toothbrush sets and wall mounted shower gel bottle. Can borrow cups from Reception to make our own tea. They don’t give tea nor coffee in room. Only 2 outlets to charge the phones: bed head shelf and under the clothes hanging hook. They manage to have a tv and mirror in room in a very well appointed place. Good design to make use of every corner in a tiny room. Windows can be opened.

One of the best hotels in Semarang. If you look for best service and facilities in town regardless of the price, the best options are either Tentrem or Padma. Nice breakfast. Nice place. Great pool. Connected to Mall but the mall doesn’t offer much. Not many tenants.

love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices. all is excellent.

staff are all really nice. The room is clean but still have some water marks, probably because of the water quality here.

This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

Very clean room and a very new hotel. The space in front of the bed is a bit limited, but I honestly did not mind at all. The location is convenient, situated above a mall, and the TV is a smart TV so you can watch YouTube. Do note that if you are dropped off by taxi at the mall entrance, there is an additional IDR 5,000 charge due to the mall’s policy. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay and felt it was good value for the price paid.

The location is still goo. The hotel is very aesthetic and has a beautiful design. There is no gym or swimming pool, but the strength of this hotel is the rooftop. It is also near a big mall in Semarang, which is convenient.

This is my third time staying at Metro Park View and the experience was very good as always. The staff were kind enough to allow me to check in after 12 pm without having to wait until 2 pm because the room was already ready. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade which was really appreciated. The service throughout the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Since I stayed during Ramadan the sahur breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of food and everything prepared well and on time. It made the early morning meal comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean comfortable and well maintained which made it easy to rest after a long day outside. Overall the hotel atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The location is another big advantage. There is a Ramadan bazaar right next door which is very convenient during the fasting month. Around the hotel there are also many cafes and places to eat so it is easy to find food or just relax outside. Honestly I cannot think of any complaints or negative points about this stay. Everything was smooth and pleasant. If you are visiting Semarang I would definitely recommend booking this hotel.

Kami menginap 4 hari di hotel ini (28 Dis 2023-1 Jan 2024). 1. Pada hari ke-2 sebelum saya pergi, saya meminta penyambut tetamu untuk memberitahu Housekeeping untuk membersihkan bilik kami, dan saya juga mengadu bahawa bilik air di bilik kami yang lain (saya menempah 2 bilik) sentiasa dibanjiri air. Apabila kami pulang ke hotel pada pukul 10 malam. Nampaknya bilik air kami belum dibersihkan, nampaknya baru tukar tuala. Saya melihat tuala itu koyak dan pudar, dan bilik mandi masih dibanjiri air ketika saya mandi. Selepas saya mengadu lagi kepada penyambut tetamu, juruteknik datang membaikinya, dan pada 23.15, pembantu rumah pun datang untuk membersihkan bilik air. 2. Pada pagi hari ke-4, kami juga mengadu kepada penyambut tetamu, bahawa penghawa dingin di bilik kami 129 tidak sejuk, tetapi tiada juruteknik yang datang. Sampai pukul 3 pagi kami tak tahan sebab bilik kami panas sangat, dan kami minta tukar bilik. Tetapi penyambut tetamu begitu banyak alasan, dan tidak sampai 4 pagi barulah kami diberi bilik lain. Ini sangat teruk kerana kami tidak dapat tidur sepanjang malam dari 31 Dis 2023 hingga 1 Januari 2024 pada jam 4 pagi. Disebabkan masalah itu, saya meminta pihak hotel untuk mengembalikan bayaran hari ke-4 kami kerana kami tidak dapat tidur lena, kerana perkhidmatan yang tidak memuaskan.

Dari lokasi cukup strategis, pelayanan cukup bagus, Pelayan mengantar dan menunjukan lokasi kamar, beberapa kali terlihat petugas membukakan pintu saat tamu masuk/keluar hotel Kamarnya juga cukup luas Cuma kekurangannya ... Palkiran yang kurang memadai, lebih enak palkir diluar samping hotel, biar mudah keluar masuk, kalo palkir didalam kadang susah keluar karena tertutup mobil Semoga kedepannya, tempat palkir bisa lebih diperhatikan lagi, biar tamu lebih nyaman
