DDr. Ong SoetantoThis was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait.
They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time.
The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there.
For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived.
Food overall was decent.
One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

PPengguna TetamuOverall service was excellent especially Mr Aviet, duty manager. I highlighted to him that there was no view at all in my room; the mirror was stained and the tap water splashing when turned on. He immediately came to my room and gave options for a change. He swapped my room on the same floor with a nice view on the second day for the rest of my stay.
The breakfast every morning was a good spread and the staff team worked well in harmony.
Overall, good experience with excellent both front desk and F&B. We

PPengguna Tanpa NamaMy fav hotel for staycation in Semarang but this time it’s not my lovely experience. First room I got has leaked aircon, it dripped every second so they offered a new room. In new room, the aircon didn’t work properly but I didn’t want to complain anymore as I didn’t want to change room again and again.
Booked with breakfast but they said it’s too few guests on that day so they will just let me choose my breakfast from the menu. Only one menu for each guest. I didn’t like this because the room has no proper table to eat. Even there’s only one chair. So yeah, not my best experience.
But maybe I’ll give it another try. This hotel usually offered good service. Maybe just wrong timing and situation for me.

PPatrick BelfastPertama hotel ini sangat murah dan saya tidak menjangkakan banyak. Ia seolah-olah sebuah hotel yang akan ditutup atau bersiap sedia untuk pengubahsuaian besar. Jadi segala-galanya memerlukan pembersihan yang mendalam dan peningkatan muka. Setelah mengatakan itu, kerana ia murah, ia sebenarnya adalah nilai yang sangat baik untuk wang. Kakitangan sangat membantu, biliknya kotor tetapi cukup bagus dan katilnya sangat selesa. Saya sangat kagum dengan makanan, kami makan malam di hotel dan bersarapan, kedua-duanya hebat. Jika anda boleh menutup mata dengan 'penat' saya akan mengesyorkan hotel ini.
