The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

Room is 1/4 of a big cottage. It is enough spacious and the desk is large enough. Hair drier is good and can make strong wind. Shampoo, glass kettle are provided. Breakfast is excellent and has wide varieties. Food are hot. Aurora can be seen outside of the cottage.

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! We stayed in a little hut which was very cosy and warm even though it was quite cold outside. The hut was equipped with hot water, stove, water boiler and cutlery. Unfortunately no oven but that was totally fine. The location was perfect: a few minutes drive outside Hvollsvollür. Would totally stay there again ＜3

Hello dear All, My husband booked via Trip.com and we were thrilled to spend time at this cozy little place just for us. However we faced severe difficulties in getting informations to check- in. We called above 15x - no answer!!! We texted on what’s up too and send an email but no information was provided. It was very frustrating and we were severely upset 😔  Once we reached the location homes we searched and knocked doors for help and guidance. Finally I stopped a man driving near us and he asked - can I help you. Once explained our situation he called someone and he said - follow me 😀 we were so relieved from our stressful situation 🙏  we don’t know from which end the problem was?? From the host, or the booking company?? No informations received and no reception once there too. It was a very bad experience. After that another couple arrived with the same problem!!! We felt so sorry for them too. After 9pm there is no one to assist.  We arrived at 8.30pm. Please get back to us - why all this happened?

Accommodation was great - amazing location, nice small cottage where we found everything we needed. HOWEVER the check-in process was really terrible experience. We called to the phone number that we found on the hotel website - it means we followed the check-in process as it stated in confirmation email. Lady told us code that we had to use to get into cottage but we could not understood precisely the number. So we asked her to repeat slowly. She told us she can’t repeat it and hang up the phone. After that we couldn’t call her back - she probably block my number so my friend tried to call her, she blocked also her phone number. So we called her through Trip - she picked up and after we told her we want to check in I to North Star cottage she again hang up. So my friend went to the cottage door and tried combinations of number to unlock the door - otherwise we wouldn’t sleep in the cottage this night. Really terrible experience and unprofessional behaviour of staff. Definitely not recommending.

非常有特色嘅旅店，好有復古味道，自助早餐都幾好味。 出邊嗰個熱水池，對住個景非常靚 但係check-in嘅問題，大家要注意，不是咁簡單

自己淋了雨，不能讓別人和我一樣。 和朋友在冰島租了車，一共在這裏住了兩晚。 第一晚：晚上10點多到了酒店門口，發現聯繫不上酒店工作人員。電話不接，郵件不回，看訂房時酒店發的郵件工作時間是下午4點到下午9點，過期不候。十分焦急，以為一晚上兩千多還得是車裡。 🌟重點：後來發現後邊有個白色房子，就去嘗試了下，然後一個非常熱情的小哥，打了一個電話，給開了房間。 第二晚：因為訂房時房間不夠，然後兩天定的不是一個房型。第二天下午5點，給酒店發了郵件，但是未回覆。之後又斷斷續續打了好幾次電話，仍然沒人接聽。晚上到了酒店，又去了後邊房子，那個小哥又給開了房間。 🌟🌟總結：最好提前發郵件打電話看看有沒有回覆，沒有回覆，到了地點，別管幾點，直接去後邊白色房子説要check in.
