While the location is a bit secluded and dining options nearby are limited, the exceptional views and the quality of the onsen facilities make it a perfect retreat for total relaxation.

YYx18The location is very good, in walkable distance to a lot attractions. Though the room only comes with toilet and washing sink but you can shower downstairs. There’s also a shared toilet outside the room every floor. The room structure is well organised, the sleeping area was very comfortable and you can see Mount Yotei from the room! Some of the reviews mentioned having smoke smell in the room but we were lucky that our room didn’t! Overally it was a very cutesy tatami experience for us. Onsen was good too!

PPengguna TetamuWe absolutely loved staying here. We had a large Japanese style room with a view of the lake. You could watch the fireworks and see the sunsets. The hotel is set slightly apart from the other main hotels which is a positive. The baths were never busy and there was a small outdoor bath. We really enjoyed our stay here

PPengguna Tanpa Nama房主不會英文和中文的，很愛乾淨，一個人入住，沒見面，看見帖在門上打印的紙條了，指示很清晰，進房桌子上拿鑰匙就行。記得換鞋上樓提樓梯，進房間時不能穿鞋哦。入住後要打電話給房主，還送了入住小禮品，謝謝。浴室的門不是很靈活，不過沒關係，房主給了萬世閣的泡湯券，去那付款500日元就行，泡湯很不錯，沒必要在房主這洗了。體驗了把自己鋪床和入住日本民宿的快樂！（給中國遊客的提示，房主強調垃圾要分類哦，不行就自己帶去711丟了）。總之比較滿意！也補充了榻榻米的知識。前台在左邊的那個門，入住時看看幾個門上帖的是否有你名字就行。另外建議右邊那個灰色的煤油取暖器收了吧，用牆角的那個新款白色的就行，不然你真的會聞到煤油味道，上面還寫了一小時通風至少2次的提示，白色的是新款的，不存在這個問題。總之，非常不錯的民宿體驗，謝謝房主。

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis cabin offers a fantastic, peaceful vibe completely surrounded by nature. While the location is a bit remote and far from the main tracks, the quality of the facilities made our stay very comfortable. The only real downside was the heavy presence of bugs after dark, so you definitely need to come prepared for that. Overall, a wonderful nature retreat if you don't mind a secluded drive and some local wildlife.

SSeptemberpjThe facilities are a little aged, but that is to be expected in a small town further away from the main city.
The room was well heated during winter, and the room itself was clean. The toilet however, had a terrible stench. It was reflected to the staff but there was nothing they could do about it.
On the bright side, the stench went away after turning on the ventilator for about 10 minutes.
The location is perfect for walking over to the lake and to convenience stores nearby, and the onsen was very good.
